ATTA visuals glad you liked it haha definitely send your work through. My review video might come in the next 2 weeks I think. Let’s see!
**Video starts**
Me: "That's weird, I don't remember taking shrooms today."
Douchy McDouche when you question reality for a second xD
damn, I thought I wouldnt really learn something new which I didnt know before but how you created that normal map totally blew my mind!
Plexus that’s awesome to hear! That technic you can also use for a lot of things, not just car paints. That’s basically what a normal map is. That’s why it also has that normal-map look. Glad you gave me a chance! :D
This is awesome! I can't believe how quick and easy setup is for this! Thank you for sharing!!
Glad I was able to help! :D
Thanks man for making such cool and detailed videos. This really helped and I hope its cool with you that I put a link to your channel in my first blender video description section. Keep rocking it
Great video!
Before he was famous woah
Got Him boys!!!!!! so cool to stumble on a jalex digital print lmao

Ez Tutor happy to see a comment like this, thanks a lot! :D
Very nice!
Thank you! This is very helpful , my focus is creating 3d graffiti artwork, having a range of this type of shader will be a great asset.
Richard Sher oh that sounds really interesting! Do you know Kingspray VR? If not, definitely give it a try if you can! They have really good graffiti shaders. I was very impressed.
Awesome. Might have to start looking into eevee more.
That opening is nightmare fuel. Thanks for the tutorial.
Thanks a lot for this amazing material. I recommend baking textures in cycles engine to spare memory for other things.
Impressive!
Looks cool
Mensch, was für ein geiles Shader. Vielen dank für dein top Content!
That is dooope! Great tutorial! Thanks a lot!
amazing paint, thanks.
note: if you're making a race car dont do orange peel, most race cars are wrapped in (pretty durable) vinyl, so its not actually paint you see on the cars, therefore no flakes or orange peel.
introooooo aahahaha🔥🔥 thanks for the tuto
Awesome! Thanks so much for sharing 😊
amazing tutorial! works well !

Great to hear!
amazing
Congrats. amazing
I was originally looking for this sorta material thats like metallic black but it has a colorful sheen when looked at with the right angle, like some nice purple sheen, now this didnt teach me how to do that, but it looks really clean aswell, ill definetly come back for this material eventually
Super useful! Thanks!
really helpful !
Thanks for your numerous blessings man.
The intro almost scared the hell outta me!!
Keep this knowledge flowing master...
Will do! Thanks for you comment! :D
veeeeeeeeeery nice tip
awesome work.
That intro tho... Looks like I'm gonna get a nightmare tonight
KismoZ I already thought no one will comment on the intro haha your the first. I thought it was so funny, I don’t know why xD
"Perfection"!!
Wow its good to see evee catching up to cycles! I'll definitely try out the car paint material! Nice one👍🏻
Jamir Alam not catching up on everything but something are really 1to1
@@DamianMathew Can you make a video on surface imperfections and how to place them in certain areas to get realistic results. That would help a lot. Thanks.
Jamir Alam yes great idea’
@@DamianMathew Yay❤️😁
@@DamianMathew That will be great. Especially how to use masks or texture paint technique to reveal imperfections in certain places.
Intro made me to check my phone 📱 twice
U r master in cars Damian
Good Guy I’m in the automotive industry for 7 years, so I learned a few things that I am trying to give to all of you! :D
Just perfect!!!
Adriano glad you like it! :D
thanks man, great tutorial, subbed.
baton5 that’s awesome ! :D
awesome.
Great tutorial! Thanks :)
Your welcome! :D
wunderbar!
Holy shit! This has no business looking so damn real! I wonder how it would look like in Cycles?
Jasc Random cycles should work just fine! :D sometimes simple is the key to success. Okay it’s not super simple, but pretty simple for what is achieved :D
Thank you for this! New subscriber.
that intro makes me scared to sleep tonight...thank you xD
Perfect! Hahah
That intro was funny though 😅😁😁🐥🐥😂
MMMM i laughed myself haha glad you liked it xD
Okay I really wasn't expecting that intro hahaha
Me neither, was spontaneous actually xD
Thanks to you
Please continue this Amazing work
😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you
I used to detail cars and motorcycles, I got so nervous when I heard "orange peel" as I have spent hundreds of hours fighting orange peel on customer cars 😆 but I was surprised yet again. Looks awesome.
Hey, nice tutorial! I've made quite a similar material for myself a while back. With pretty much the same textures. But I never used the noise as an orange peel either (in hindsight, pretty stupid of me when you look at how obvious it is).
So, I can say I've learned something essential about realism. 😎
UnifiedFriends that’s great to hear! Yes it’s funny how blind humans can be. I actually learned about orange peals specifically at Volkswagen. That’s their official term for it.
@@DamianMathew yeah it is funny 🙈.
Women's will hate the name Volkswagen gave it haha.
But maybe they can also be proud, that even a car can have it.
UnifiedFriends xD
Great tutorial, thanks. That intro has left me scarred for life
Waiting... 😁
Nanogalaxy me too actually ..... :D
Thanks, Mathew! ♥
Artes glad you liked it! :D
I'm thinking this could be adapted to make the reflective speckles in snow. Looking forward to trying it out. Great tutorial
Fin365 great idea!
A similar approach also works great to make sand
NICE tutorial
thank you for giving a shit about eevee most people don't ❤️❤️
The vornoi car looks sick
ATTA visuals that would be a cool wrap in real life on a car. Then people ask: wow what’s this wrap? You: ‘voronoi’ he is like wtf and leaves haha
Thanks
Yessss!
:D
Awesome, would this work in cycles too?
We want stream as soon as possible 😍
Mokho Sh this time it is a video but I think I’ll make a follow up Q&A Eevee
In this tutorial I learn.how to car paint in eeve and how to edit creepy intro
Perfect hahah exactly what I aimed for xD
Really awesome, Thankyou! Would this car paint also work in cycles?
Aidan Simpson-Gray yes should also work just fine in cycles. Maybe needs some tweaking but basically should work just like in eevee! :D
Was good tutorial.
That's incredible. Thanks so much. Now I just need to have a car to put it on :D Is this (meaning the paint) something you would also use for commercial projects?
And there’s a global illumination add on for evee now
Javier Poeliniz I saw that, but I did not use it here. I’m using only the essentials to reach a high quality. If people like this I might step up the game in the next video.
@@DamianMathew we like it, definitely step it up 😁👍👍👍🐈😊
MMMM I think I will do! :D
literally the first thing i thought of when the flake hit.. OMG THIS WITH SSGI AND EEVEE GLASS 2.0 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I literally subbed just to see this happen haha
Thanks for this Very Very nice video! Being a beginner asking for a favor, could you talk about the INTERNAL LOGIC of what you did and why did those in detail? THANKS!
Hi Damian, could you please suggest few laptops that we could use for blender works. Thank you!
Yaay 🐥🐥🐥
MMMM damn so fast!
@@DamianMathew 😂 first in line bro 👍👍👍
MMMM very nice!! :D
HELL YA
Hey man I have a problem in rendering an animation... first I rendered one animation and I edited it in video editing and now when I open that model and make a new animation and press render then the previous video editing starts to render. I dont know how to overcome this issues. I am new to blender so plz help me out
kinda odd idea to use normal for the flakes since flakes would be more in specular / roughness
but the end result is quite good
can we use it in cycles?
is it ready for cycles too?
Damian Mathew. Your videos are very informative. Sir, May i request you to make car lighting tutorial using 3dsmax Vray. Thanks
I pretty much only use Blender, maybe VRED.
Hey i'm trying to figure out what u made at 2:48 with Combine RGB, honestly I don't use Blender, I'm on C4D with Octane, and I'm trying to get a normal map from the noise map :(
@ 1:17 it would appear that Blender's clearcoat normal is not functioning correctly. The orange peel is acting like it's effecting the base coat and not the clear coat.
bro how to export this as it is with bound textures in gltf,
Does this work for cycles?
when i apply the scaling to the veronoi texture it changes but now as small and still in big chunks
nvm
Can you do that in cycle
I have a problem. I do everything like in the movie, but at the very beginning I cannot get the orange peel effect. What could be the reason? :(
Karol Kułak hmmm turn on clearcoat to 2 and also plug the noise to the clearcoat normal. Don’t forget the bump node. But hard to say when not seeing it haha. But the video is uncut, so you can follow every step.
Tbh I was satisfied with the result at 1:06 itself
I'm sorry Dam, I set reminder on YT for Your 2 livestreams(this one and the long one last week), but I did not get notified on YT, but only on mail.. I missed it :(.. twice...:((
Edit: Why did You rush up this video? You cudda gone more slowly... but AWESOME technique BTW.. will surely use it for my projs
Glad you still watched at the end haha. Notifications are weird. Also I only get comment notifications of about 50%. No idea why. I rushed to just see what people like since I haven’t made a quicker video in a while. Also I wanted to showcase that it really takes under 5mins with some practice. Do you like longer and more detailed videos more? And thanks a lot for your comment!
i like your spider web bro
