As a Deion fan, the consistent bias in media is Crazy. Nothing was wrong with Oregon's pregame speech! Coach said exactly what needed to be said to his team! Oregon and other schools should feel disrespected. Deion has a mid of the pack team with no resume but Colorado is the constant talk of the town. Coaches have every right to say what they want to say.
I feel bad for CU cause the better teams on their schedule have heard all the CU talk and are about to take it out on their players! Gonna be some lopsided scores in their future! You can't be one dimensional and think you are gonna win games in this years PAC12!

I could name off several white coaches that got hired to programs they had no business being at. Gene Chizik is one. He had an abysmal losing record at Iowa State and got hired to Auburn. He won a NC, but Gus Malzahn, was the brains behind the team.
The irony of white people feeling "disrespected" because a black coach is getting undeserved attention is ironic and laughable. Also, media coverage has nothing to do with the skill of the teams playing. It's about rating and money. I don't know why you need to be told this.

Excuses weren't being made. It has been repeated all season that Colorado needs more depth in the trenches by Coach Prime and analyst. They still believed that they could have an upset but it didn't happen. There's no excuses the same things are still being repeated
Amazing how many tv personalities picked Colorado to win. Prime is an excellent preacher/motivator, but he's got a long way before them big boys pick Colorado over Georgia, Alabama, etc.
Why? USC turned their program around in one season. Prime is following the same script. Colorado may not have the name of USC but I understand what he is doing.
That's not happening. Georgia and Bama have some of the richest pockets in college football, not counting at least double the TV money Colorado will share in the Big 12.

Props to Acho for being non biased and actually giving props to Oregon while also giving positive criticism! Joy, James and Shady all couldn't separate their feelings for Prime and actually look at the facts for both programs and point out their strengths and weaknesses like a true analyst should! No one expected Oregon to Dominate the way they did! I actually expected it to be competitive but when you look at the trenches and how many times the OL has let Shadure get sacked and the lack of pressure from the DL you know that doesn't bode well against a team that actually brought back talent on the DL and focused recruiting on the trenches! The Duck OL had a few question marks because they haven't been together long compared to last year's OL but they are really starting to gel! Oregon was the more veteran compared to Colorado but i can appreciate how Prime was able to assemble a team in a very short time! Colorado will be a force to be reckoned with in the next few years! Im a die hard duck fan and im able to separate feelings for reality and facts while also giving a non biased opinion! Too bad there are alot of media members that can't do the same! Oregon had the more complete offense and defense this game because the OL for Colorado couldn't protect their QB and they couldn't run the ball which made it easier for Oregon's Defense to tee off and rush the QB! Oregon had a very good QB in Bo who is a veteran and able to read defenses and he carved up the Colorado Defense because the OL gave him time and we were able to run the ball! Again no one expected Oregon to dominate this game like they did but any true analyst or fan would of been able to point out what i just did! Prime and Colorado are up an coming but aren't there yet but i know they will get there! As for my ducks i love what Lanning has done with this program and recruiting, and the direction were heading!

Oregon were 21 point favorites I think a lot people expected Oregon to dominate. It’s just people in the media don’t care or watch college football enough to realize difference between a good team in Colorado, and a team that can be competitive with the best teams in college football like Oregon.

As a Duck fan, this is tremendously satisfying. I hope Deion does well the rest of the way. I'm disappointed Oregon and Colorado will be in different conferences next year. Hopefully, we will meet again in the natty in a year or two. Wouldn't that be an awesome game!

Prime will be a great coach. But he does have a cheat code in being a hall of fame player so he doesnt have to put in the time like these other coaches in order to get 5 star talent. They had to put in work and he just walks in and is able to get big talent. This irks other coaches.
Coach Prime coached high school football for years and coached at Jackson State University won on both levels. It's not like he walked of the field as a player then next year became the coach of Colorado with a stacked team. He has put in work as well. He can't help it that those other coaches are not Hall of Fame players.

And I'm not mad at Prime for being Prime I actually think it's great for the game. The issue is the media disregard every reason why Colorado isn't on Oregon level yet then after Oregon proved it's dominance have every excuse to say why Colorado lost. People who actually watch college football knew this was going to happen. @@sheronpulliam4371 It appears they are there to be an opinion type show, which is fine. However for an opinion type show to be successful or interesting it needs varying perspectives on the show to engage in worthwhile debates and discussions. They all have similar perspectives and ideologies and are pushing for their point of view to be right when it isn’t always right. They have made this show into a bit of a racial identity thing which again is fine but it’s not what I’m looking for in a sports show. I may be jumping to conclusions a bit but this whole coach prime situation is getting turned political when it’s not. He’s a faith driven man that wants to help the youth, no matter their skin color or culture and the media keeps trying to make it about black vs white and this show keeps nudging the viewers towards that being the story when it really isn’t.

I knew this would be an issue with Prime, as a lifelong cowboys fan, I love Prime, and what he’s done at CU this season is miracle work, but it’s clear some of the analysts can’t separate their personal feelings for their friend and actually analyzing the sport

The problem is, when the network and analysts are friends/closely associated with the head coach there will be biased opinions. No one, neither Fox Sports or ESPN, have taken responsibility for being wrong. The Buffaloes will only get better; however, they are nowhere near competitive to the top teams in the PAC-12. It’s not jealousy, they just want to humble them because the Buffaloes are severely overhyped.
I'm rooting for Coach Prime and the Buffs, and I never thought they would get into the national championship game, but they are going to get better. I always thought they will probably win at least 6 games.
Colorado probably won't win another game. Their OL and DL are way undersized by 50-80 lbs each. The OL can't block, they can't protect the QB, and they keep getting penalties (they have to hold to keep from getting beat). The DL can't stop the run and they can't rush the QB. Their only bright spot is when the opposing QB gets cocky and tries to thread a needle into double coverage. A lot of these PAC-12 have huge OLs and they will just run all over the Buffs. USC might get 500 yards rushing. Utah definitely will. That's how horrible this OL is. The guys on the OL have no business playing FBS football, they are small and awful.

Most of these programs have hit their ceiling in recruiting. CU has not. Look back the last 6 years and most programs have roughly similar recruiting ranks from year-to-year. It's safe to say that CU's will improve by a wider margin.

Fair play to Acho for a proper take. The other 3 were pretty embarrassing and that’s being kind. All picked Colorado to win and when they get beaten up then it was to be expected. Prime is great but these comments about other coaches being insecure and jealous are far fetched. Coaches will use the Colorado story to get there players fired up every week. Just like coach prime will do with his team.
That line, "Better get me now!" makes me laugh. Well of course the Pac12 teams are going after the Buffs now. The Buffs are leaving for the Big12 and then he can repeat the same line to his new conference opponents.

Media is to blame for this, not Prime not Lanning. Lanning has to say what ever pumps his guys up. Anytime a new head coach is hired everyone assumes they are suppose to be better than before other wise why hire a new coach? I’m not sure how Prime gets top line help in Colorado though. Most of your top linemen on both sides of the ball are going to go to the well established NFL feeder schools. I think he’s going to have a difficult time recruiting linemen.

WOULD U ALL stop saying he has turned that program around already..... 2 things.. 1...... he now has the benefits of the transfering status in college which is basically like free agency now, and yes other schools have that to.. but he doesnt have to wait till the following year to get to play his incoming transfers, they can play right away. 2..... this is a whole new roster, with mostly guys he has coached before at JSU, they were kinda familiar already with the system, ya they had some guys come in from south florida also and a few other places, but there is only like what 5-6 guys from last years team, its not like he came in with the same 75% of the roster last year and got them to play better..... i mean yaaa ok ok technically he has improved already when u compare the win loss record from this year to last.... but whenever u all say he turned this team around.... it was with his own roster basically which i guess counts.. cause its guys he brought in... but still the way some people make it seem, its like he turned around last years same roster this year....
