Traffic reporter melts down after apparently complaining about being asked to cover traffic in the freezing cold weather, wondering why news anchors even cover traffic
Literally driving someplace to stand outside where a car nearly slides into them so they can tell people it’s too cold and dangerous to go driving outside. 😝 let these people film from home by their fireplace!
The better one was the snowing one he did a couple years ago. It got like 10 million views and the vast majority of people in the comments thought it was real 🤣
Man is just putting himself at the mercy of the intrusive thoughts. The true heroes of this world, risking their lives daily, for the people who prefer the 58th most efficient method of traffic report.
The level of passive-aggressive sarcasm is absolutely stellar. This man is a treasure and a rarity of honesty in the "news". Give this man an anchor position ASAP!
Love his comments about people not watching. When I was working from home I always thought the same thing. Going into the office, and coming home in the afternoon. I'd listen to the local news station who had traffic like every five minutes. Never ever thought about watching television inside my car for the traffic report.
LOL - seriously people in our area ask on the Facebook safety pages "how are the roads today?" and you get everything from nice answers to "Seriously? You know you have access to the same weather reports we do, right?" 😆
Like the classic Al Roker clip, where Al is telling everyone how dangerous a hurricane is. Then his 300lb self gets blown over by a wind gust. Thanks, Al!!
The fact that John is actually standing out there on the side of an interstate! 😂 He's quite literally risking his life for a CZcams video and laughs. Lord keep him safe 😆🥴
I doubt that. He usually does live sets. The sound is too perfect for him to be green screen on this one. Also you can see that he's at the end of a merge ramp so he is at least 40 feet away from actual travel lanes. @@my3dviews
I remember watching the national news when I was like 12 and a reporter was basically being blown away by a hurricane and all he basically reported was that the weather was getting really bad. I was cracking up at how silly that was. Even my mom was laughing about it.
That guy needs a raise. I remember seeing a young reporter about 20 plus years ago standing out in a hurricane almost getting blown away answering similar style questions. "What's it like out there" and look where Anderson Cooper is today.
Inspiring to see someone so enthusiastic and willing to jump out of bed to bring such important information to an eagerly awaiting audience. That boy will go far... Mark my words.
Fun one. Back when I was a kid in the 80s my Dad was literally the radio traffic guy in the sky who flew over the city in an airplane to tell people about traffic. 😂 Put some people out of a job but man, so amazing to live in these times with traffic on your phone by your bedside and don’t have to even roll out to see how it’s looking.
But seriously, It’s actually silly to listen to traffic reports because like really, you aren’t going to go to the airport, work or on your long planned road trip because of a traffic jam? At least here in Utah there’s no good alternative routes so you have to suck it up buttercup!
@@psalmreader8049 Never heard of planning ahead? Getting out the door faster? Deciding an alternate route? Or yes, maybe skipping your day off morning plans?

I feel this so hard. I get how some might think "whats the big deal, call me whatever you want". But over the span of your life, day in and day out, hearing your name constantly mispronounced really has a way of eating at you. Especially because some people, when you correct them, treat you like you're stuck up like "whoa make sure you get his name right or he'll lose it" and I'm over here like dude its a very basic form of decency... It's not like I'm asking you to get down and kiss my feet lol I've lost count of the number of times I've corrected someone and they're actually kind about it and properly pronounce it ... but the next day you pass them at work and they're again saying it wrong and you're like "damn, why do I even try".🙃 It just makes you feel small and like you dont matter... and again, I dont think I'm special or superior to anyone, or that I deserve special treatment... but I guarantee you anyone would get annoyed if this happened to you constantly over a long span of time.
I have a mostly unpronounceable last name. So, when I'm called by someone, for example at a doctor's office, they usually say it with a question mark in their voice. I just say, "close enough", and we both laugh.
I am doing the traffic news at my local radio station and I can tell you all that this is exactly how we do it. We use Google Maps for you so you don‘t have to. 😁👍🏼
For a moment I thought this was real, then I said, "Hey, that guy looks kind of familiar," so I exited full screen and looked at the name and sure enough, it was a skit. 😆

He did that one too about 2 years ago. He does great stand-up too.
@@likebot.John did a hysterical skit about the weather guy. I saved it because it’s so good. It was like a year ago.
