I appreciate this stance. If you have energy on your body, you do not need to keep inputting the energy calories. Protein is king.

Basically, to make people believe 3 sticks of butter with 3 pounds of steak, 3 keto bars- 3 times a day, 3 cans of beer and 3 different flavors of e-cigarette vape is perfectly OK on the Heath Journey. I eat almost just meat, and I loose a little weight and it stopped. Only after putting more butter it going down again. But I know I should eat 2 fat : 1 protein in my situation. It's just my carnivore beginning :) You are SO RIGHT, the body needs nourishment :)
Perfect timing for the video for me. I’m home sick today because I ate too many keto treats yesterday. Never again.today I’m starting a 21 day sugar fast but for me it’s a keto treat fast. It’s through Revelation Wellness which is a Christian program with daily devotions etc. just eating meat and some veggies, all nutrient dense. And keto.

Could you please speak more about your carbohydrate reintroductions? I was basically forced to because of mold poisoning. I've never gotten back to feeling as good as I first did on carnivore.I'm gaining weight, but my nervous system couldn't support carnivore for 2 years after my mold poisoning. I feel caught between autoimmune reactions and bad hormones.

I agree. Support your body with better lifestyle and great food. I had a heart attack over a year ago and just did little things in many areas that were achievable (and a little study) to get off seven medications. My weight is great, I eat as much as much as I want and have the occasional treat. Undoing componded bad lifestyle takes the reverse, and that means time. Love you videos, keep it up. So glad you are doing well.❤

Thank you for your videos. I would love for you (if you can.. ?triggering) talk about being underweight and how you resolved it. I am trying to send my son to your channel so he can learn about nutrition and how to become healthy. It cannot come from me. Apparently I am not the best at giving him advice and that is ok by me if he will listen to some sound advice. I am a retired Physician Assistant that totally believes in the carnivore lifestyle. And having incurable autoimmune diseases has helped direct to this. My son also has celiac disease. He is way underweight. Anyway… l love your channel.❤❤❤❤

I just got out of high fat low protein (75 g). It was messing me up and causing me to gain more weight. My healing from high protein high fat carnivore was reversing so I stopped. Thankfully I was only doing it for a month but now that I back to eating more protein and lesser fat, I’m gaining more weight. But I do feel better again so I won’t stop.
You hair is so pretty in this style! Ok to my question, have you heard of ketone resistance? Like insulin resistance but ketones. I heard someone in the community mention it and I think I experienced that. I had body fat but needed to eat fat to get energy. It seemed like my body wasnt tapping into my own body fat for fuel and I think I was fat adapted and had been carnivore for over 3 months and overall for a few years on and off. I would love to hear from you if you know anything about this because you are the rare few I trust with your knowledge because I agree with a lot of what you say because Ive experienced them personally. This is just insulin resistance still.. Which inhibits metabolic flexibility, which allows us to use glucose or ketones.
My setup has 302g Fat and 151g Protein to start. Once fat-adapted after a month, I'll move from 2 sticks of butter to 1, for new totals of 213g Fat and 151g Protein. 150lb is my goal but weight is a lower priority than my health. Am I on the right track or is something off?
Thank you for this video. I am struggeling to figure out whats best for me. Did 2 sticks of butter a day and gained 20 pounds. Looking up how much protein is in hambuger i was shocked. 80/20 ground beef is only 20 grams of protein? That means i would have to eat 6 pounds a day to get to 125 pounds? Is that correct?

Hi Rebekah, I just star carnivore diet ten days ago. I was in keto for one year. I lost my period for four month. I has adrenal and thyroid issue. I feel much better than before. I can sleep very well even better than in keto. I just wondering that do I need to take any supplement? I have sometimes nightmare at night. Can I take some nutrition yeast? Thank you and appreciate for your answer.
I don't recommend nutritional yeast as it can feed bad bacteria. Animal foods provide all the nutrients we need. Organ meats serve as great "supplements".

I think she is confusing the message ... the "60grams" of protein is PER MEAL, not per day. Most advocates of that rule also subscribe to 1g/lb of ideal body weight. They just suggest spreading that out over a couple meals because your body cant process more than around 60g of protien at a time.
Not in the keto world that I've seen. It was recommended to me to eat 60gms of protein and 200gms of fat per day not including eating avocados or coconut oil.

I am not recommending anything off of kilograms.
My advice is completely different from that and I made that clear in this video! It may very well be hard for many to wrap their heads around eating more protein.
I have anxiety and get stressed easily. Does that mean I can never get fat adapted? I can't just get rid of my anxiety, I've done therapy but it's always there. I've been carnivore for 2 years but if I eat more than 100g fat (I'm 5'2) I put on weight. When I've tried to increase my calories, but more than 1500/1600 I put on weight. I've done 120+g protein and 90g fat for the past few months and have managed my weight well, but I'm in perimenopause and am getting symptoms like insomnia. I am terrified of menopause weight gain. Being fat makes me depressed. I'm not overweight, so not trying to lose weight, just don't want to gain.
Sounds like you could use some 1 on 1 guidance 💖 A reverse diet and internal healing would be beneficial for you! Your body needs to learn how to burn more at rest and going backwards with calories will not help!
How did you cure hashimotos? Hypothyroidism?

I've been carnivore for almost 3 months now and high fat moderate protein for about a month.
Over 200 grams Fat and about 90 grams protein.
I just had my birthday weekend where I ate whatever I wanted.
Going right back to the diet though I'm wondering how much longer it will take to become fat adapted. My goal is to lose 40 pounds in a healthy time frame. I've gained 20 just from this WOE so far. My goal is 125 pounds.
You say to eat one pound of protein per 1 pound of desired body weight and it's so confusing because Dr. Bright, Stephanie Person and others all say lower protein and high fat.
It's so confusing.
I have not seen the lower protein be sustainable, but rather cause further complications for many (at least 35% of my clients come to me after trying that approach dealing with hypothyroidism, weight gain and muscle loss, and many other issues). It DOES work as a tool for a targetted period of time. That's just my opinion and input 😊💖 I'd encourage you to experiment with both.
Someone in the comment section of a Dr. Bright video said she is a client of hers and she had her eating 100 grams of protein a day plus 150 grams of fat. It was helpful for me to realize Dr. Bright wasn't advocating low protein in the way Stephanie does.

Your way strikes me as carnivore sanity. Healthy body weight is grams of protein now overweight consitent to where you end up. For me add butter and tallow to calories goal. Is it true you said for women don't go under 1600kcal? I've only binge watched you for a couple days and subscribed. So if you could answer that I can figure how much to eat. Was doing 1lbs ground beef 1/2 stick of butter which doesnt match for protein. Thank you. Oh Kelly hogan I like too. Being born again is everything that matters, bottom line.
