Careful if you have read receipts disabled on phone, because when you open a chat on watch it enables by itself

I've been using it for a month now. For me I can send voice notes, but it is very slow, and the app overall is slow on my watch.

not to mention the delay on Whatsapp notifications, it comes on the phone, with no notification on the watch until as long as 5 minutes later it nudges the watch.
also, when replying to the message on the watch, it will show on the phone as a message sent by yourself.

This was the main reason why I uninstalled the app onmy watch. Very unconvenient. I wish they could implement it just like Google messages.

Greate to have whatsapp on wear os, it's missing the ability to make calls that would be great. I think this should have been a beta version they still have to work a lot on it. Thanks for the video.

I preferred just getting notifications and replying without the app installed on my watch.
After installing it I just kept getting notifications that I had a message even though I had swiped it away or read it on my phone.

So what’s happening when I receive notification on a watch from someone on WhatsApp? Do I have all the functionality of WhatsApp directly ? Can I listen to audio and answer with audio message? Can I see an image or sticker ? Or do I need to close notification and go to additional WhatsApp application so I could do this ?

no he said wear OS
while the pixel watch does run on wearOS so others from other brands,
as long the watch is not a cheap knock off that runs on java only
also not apple watches they run on watchOS
