It's disappointing seeing how many apps don't support scrolling via the crown.
Is it really that hard to implement that....
â@@AnteP-dx4my yeah, but in the huawei watch 3/huawei watch 3 pro im pretty sure every app supportsscrolling via crown but only those models, the gt 3 and gt 3 pro dont support it and have way less apps
@@AnteP-dx4my if you build an app for it you have to support and utilise it by your own, the studio app doesn't provide any support except touch controls

What I also love a lot about App in the Air is that you can switch to their watchface while travelling so you could see updates or where you're at the moment without opening the app. I always switch to that watchface before and during the flight for convenience.
Uses Calm to get into a better... Headspace đ Hopefully they make that WearOS app too!

Hello, I am going to buy a pixel watch soon but I would like to know if there is an app for trail running or the native one for the smartwatch with which I can go for a run and follow a track or do series of races and with which I can see different running metrics?
Do you know how to change the notif and ringtone for the watch? Or silence the notif sounds and keep haptic feedback?

Was curious, I was unable to use the starbucs app on this watch but was able to on my Ionic.
Outdooractive works independently on an LTE watch, Komoot needs (at least last summer needed) a phone with you.
Overall good video. Constructive criticism.... The time stamps are bad. Easily 5 to 15 seconds off, and #4 is way off.
Example..... App #2 time stamp is 7:45 it should be 8:01 that's 16 seconds... And if you click the 8:01 time stamp, you'll see how it goes right into App #2 ... but if you click the 7:45 time stamp you keep hearing about the previous app.

great video and Id love to get this watch but the battery life is something I'm worried about. I currently have the Tic Watch Pro 3 and love the 3 day battery life
So far it has really lasted me 24 hours. I charge it when I shower and don't worry about it.

I haven't had any issues. I charge it during my shower and nightly wind down routine (about 50-70 minutes overall) and reliably make it back to that exact time every night. I've had no issues at all!
Me too! am on the TWP3 Ultra. love the 2-4 battery life. Does anyone like the pixel more than ther tic watch? is it worth the change?
Can you download Golf applications like Golf Pad or Golfshot in this watch ? đ
I'm looking into switching from Amazfit GTR 2 to Wear OS watch but there was obsoletely nothing interesting that would inspire me to switch from one the other on that list đ€ Most of those are either useless for me like flight tracking, golf, google assistant or notes. Or I already have equivalent on Amazfit - excellent tracking, weather, remote control of all multimedia run from my phone.

Liked and subcribed. New to Android/Google coming from iPhone. Questoin: if I don't have the LTE version of Google Watch, and I run and lift without my Pixel, am I losing anytihng? I mean, does the watch store stuff then upload it to fitbit when it connects to my phone again? Thanks
I suppose it does store data on your activities, and it synchronizes with your phone when it can

On Galaxy watch you get both, Satellite view as well as Step by Step Navigation

I have the Google pixel watch. The only problem I have that concerns me is the speaker. I made a phone call to my wife and she sounds very bad on the watch. Why is the pixel watch sound sucks when you're talking to the watch to someone. The Apple watch sounds very clear. Can you do a video about that?
I agree 100%, compared to the Apple watch speaker, it sounds horrible...but I do like the watch overall.
I've made numerous calls on the watch and it sounds fine to me, plus my wife says I sound quite clear from the watch as well.

Yes it's currently in beta (they call it preview)
yes, but unfortunately some controls still require your phone. For example, when I try to use my watch to pause my TV it just says "use phone for full controls"

I dunno man. These apps seem great, especially for the motivation to get up and do things, but MyFitnessPal and Strava are locked behind ludicrous paywalls for decent features. I hate the subscription bs these days.

Does the LTE-version work as a standalone smartwatch? I really wants to get rid of my big bulky smartphone... maybe the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro is better from that point of view?
i have the LTE Pixel Watch but I have not tried it away from my phone much. I imagine the battery will be an issue
I use the Galaxy Watch Pro 5 LTE as a standalone/away from my phone quite a bit. I walk everyday with just the watch and I am able to text, place and receive calls, etc. without the phone.
@@shelliecarter how does that work exactly? Do you need to have a separate phone number? I would love to run without my phone. I feel like it's a necessity for safety, though. But I don't know that I can justify the cost of a separate account for my watch...
@@TischTosh Yes, the watch has its own number (2nd line on my account). It's $10 per month. I already had a second line and was using it for something else in the past. I had the Bluetooth version of the galaxy watch active 2 and upgraded. When you activate the watch, it will ask you if you want to number share with your main line and you select yes. So whenever I am away from my phone, everything comes to my watch.
@@shelliecarter I'm with TMobile and it is only $5 a month as long as you are okay with 500 mb of premium data and then unlimited slower data after that.
Strava is stuffed as so much is behind a paywall

1:07 this is where you can see a perfect example of wear os being dumb. Crown rotation works in the app drawer but not in the app. He tries to use it but it doesnât work and has to use the touchscreen
