The adaptive timeout seems to be tailor made for when you put the phone in your pocket, or on a table facing down. Small optimization but worth having it.

Honestly I'm not even excited for these updates. They release a new version with some minor improvements and new settings. What about UI changes? Look at Samsung or even Xiaomi. I don't know what is wrong with google. I get all material things but hey atleast UI improvements should be there.

Google are shit now, just the same old shit or bring back useful features they removed and try and palm them off as new. Google are busy trying to make ChromeOS the new OS for phones this is why theres nothing new.

To be honest, there's not much surprise.

I'm hoping to see some screenshot editor changes. I hate the crop zoom is limited and I have to go to photos so I get zoom after cropping... Also can't change the size of the marker with the screenshot editor...

So far beta 3 feels smoother than beta 2. But the double line display for app list isn't working for me personally. And I think many are still waiting for the notification panel redesign.

Are we getting a quick setting panel locked/disabled when phone is locked?

Hello, regarding DND in Pixel 8 pro, there is a bug, when activate DND it silent all Whatsapp calls unless you specifically sign a ringtone to Whatsapp, still it ring twice in DND ! Does this DND bug fixed on Android 15 ? Also when plug with Android Auto the Hey Google commands has so many issues, did this been fixed ?

that pop up notification did not look more bouncy, these animations just are too quick and don't have a proper ending transition or appearance it's beginning, middle and halfway through the end it just goes. And doensn't leave a satisfying animation in it's whole.

When is "Vibrate on answer" for phone calls coming? I need that so much.

I'm actually loving the UI tweaks. Android 15 is looking more and more consistent and cohesive than ever before. These little animations here and there ads to that feeling as well. Things i would like to see added: - ChromeOS desktop version - Be able to remove app names in the home screen - Keep implementing Material You to more apps like Keep, Tasks, etc. - Stack widgets in home screen - More consistent and cohesive widget forms and design - Lock screen widgets - Merge Google Assistant and Gemini, get the best of both

This device is hopeless, it works very slowly, it copies photos at a very low speed, after two days of not using it, I need a few minutes to preview the photos. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, WASTE OF TIME, NERVES AND MONEY.

This is the disadvantage of running faster than your shadow, I mean android has ran out of features 😂 while iOS is just getting started

I bet the Themed icons toggle would still show in Beta even after 3 years. Even some of Google's own apps struggle to keep the Material U theme. Sad state of affairs for Google

People are always expecting new UI changed with every update and thats not how it works. Imaigne if every year ios and android changed UI elements. The OS would look inconsistent across versions. Android right now is more mature and it's focusing mainly on make rhe system more stable, something we should really appreciate instead of asking for "new ui changes" every year
