Coming along nicely Matt! I like your ideas of raising the back end a little.
    Oh...I sent you an email.

    Looks great!
My no-ac Hardtop T-bird seemed to squat in back but when I replaced all the springs I found that someone had put the stiffest, "Silver stripe" service replacement springs on the front which I think were for Converts with AC (or something like that). I was happy to find that with all new stock springs, it finally sat level.

Good to hear. I won't know till I get some wieght on it and see where it settles. The fron will have some adjustability in it but the back is set for now

@@Exit45Restorations I forgot, you're going with coil-overs. That should be sweet!

I just installed the rear shocks (Aldan ). My process was mounting the upper shock to the body then connecting the lower shock to the axle post. Well that did not work well with the Aldan shocks. It turned out I had to mount the lower shocks first then the upper mounting plate to the car. That was a pain. I only put one shock on at a time so I learned from my mistakes. But there was a lot of double work involved. The shocks do look good .

That made me smile. I can so relate to that. I can't tell you how many times I tighten something and then find out it has to be loosened or pulled off to install the rest of the project. I guess I'm not alone in that. I bet they do look good though. Did you just do the shocks or did you do the coilovers back there?

Spring perches on backwards as soon as you lower it the spring is going to crash into the cup you need to flip the right to the left hopefully you read this before it becomes a problem

I just recently did this on my 65. There are 2 things that i noticed. The locating pins on the new springs are tiny and they dont locate the axle correctly. I used a socket from underneath to center the axle on the tiny pin. The other thing is the shocks. I cant remember if the old ones had washers on the lower mount. I suspect they were stuck to the shocks and got thrown away. I used some washers from sway bar links and drilled them to fit. Worked perfectly

@@Exit45Restorations funny you should ask. Im spending 4th of july finishing up the last bit that i can do. Welding in the drivers floor pan. The painter said he is ready for it this weekend. Engine and drivetrain are done. Suspension and brakes are done.. electrical is done.. interior is done. Everything is ready to put back in and on the car as soon as its painted. Biggest part of the project was transplanting a donor roof skin
