Hello Matt. Taking care of someone with dementia is hard, I can't emagine taking care of two. Bless you and your family for doing so.
I hope you didn't glue down that trunk seal. The flat part of the seal mates with the flat part of the channel.

Those darn torsion rods, I really don't like doing them either, but you got them in!
Sorry you are having to deal with health issues in your family, we are going through a similar situation with my Mother in-law...it really does suck.😞

❤with your family been through it with my mother. Suggestion masking tape your edges on the paint when doing panel and parts fitting
