I got myself a GLB 35 AMG here in Germany, it is a fantastic car imo. Perfect daily driver for a crowded city like Berlin. Very comfortable, big enough to not be cramped in it, small enough to dart through traffic and small side streets. Fantastic visibility and fantastic body shape to easily fit through spaces just inches bigger than the car. And the interior quality is just amazing. I genuinly feel like that the interior of the GLB had more quality materials than my good ol' 2015 CLS. Anybody who is in the market for a small little crossover, I have nothing but praise for this little thing...and tbh, in galaxyblue with the AMG package it looks gnarly.

Jay Mac it's more on the consumer so far. The reason why my mom bought an SUV (yes, it's an AMG RENNTech) is because she likes sitting up high. I personally can’t get used to them because...well...It's too high, in which I prefer a car/wagon instead. I still enjoy the SUV since it has 416 horses...on a midnight drive. I think this is still a good step in the marketing direction.
In 2021 GLB there will be a warning that "dont put doug demuro in the third seat"..lol.

When you don’t have Mercedes navigation, the Nav/map button works with Apple CarPlay to bring up your default navigation app!
Yah, that’s a pretty big miss. Feels like Doug goes out of his way to create a sensational bit of content. Pretty much EVERY GLB owner will have the latest iPhone plugged into one of those seven USB-C ports.
@@willlange9978 I always see his reviews (love ya Doug), showing the navigation system like an important thing and I always wonder who in 2020/21 depends on the vehicle nav and not on google maps or waze. Perhaps I see a need for rental cars, but that is it.

Yes but its a bad design. Mercedes should offer Navigation within their cars thats what we pay for.
Who cares if the car doesn't have Nav? We all have smartphones these days (at least people who can afford this price point). W all have navigation on our smartphones and phone holders cost as little as $5 US

I recently purchased a GLB. Here's a few of my thoughts that he missed and some of my annoyances.
- We bought it without third row seating, without the third row, the cargo area is actually even more spacious, as the floor drops down another 4 inches. And it comes with a shade.
- Navigation is through Apple or Android Car play. I do wish the car play usb C port was located somewhere more out of the way, having a cable sticking up there is not the greatest.
- The sun visors do not slide out, which is my BIGGEST annoyance with this vehicle. its 2020. The sun visors should slide out to cover your side windows. Luckily window tint is legal in my state, so that helps..
- The different driving modes are definitely noticeably different. Eco mode is dismal, Comfort mode is okay, sport mode is definitely a higher RPM and more responsive. You can however build your own user mode for driving mode... suspension, steering and power.
- Also I don't think he touched on the ambient lighting, which is a very neat, and a great look while driving at night.
We love this car, and it really fits every thing we need. Would recommend.

ambient lighting is definitely the worst feature for my amg, it is so distractive i turn it off the second i got my glc.

Just got one a week ago switched from a GLC. I love it! Has all the bells And whistles. Very comfortable and smooth ride.

Yeah if the GLK looked normal. The GLB has a way better look all around, the headlights make it look modern and this type of interior (in my opinion) that the new MB models have is one of the best looking in the car industry right now.

Hey Doug, one of the reasons the GPS isn't standard anymore is because market research states most people use their phones/Google Maps navigation for live updates on traffic jams, accidents, speed traps etc. Only small amounts of people use in-car navigation in 2020
The trunk is huge. I fit an entire console cabinet back there with the 2nd row still up. I like it. Way more comfortable than my old GLA.

I love mine and I got mine configured with just the right amount of options that I wanted at 43k price tag. It gets good gas mileage for what it is, pretty spacious with good cargo space, and it feels strong enough with good amount of power. While there are alot of things to like about this car, I have to point out some bad stuff. My biggest issue with this car would be non wireless apple carplay. In addition, USB C connector to connecting your phone isn't exactly great as it loses connection if you move or touch your cable slightly. Aside from those two issues, I think it is a great car for what it is. I looked at Audi Q3 before getting this and I have no regrets at all!
Purchased one of these new 2022 WITHOUT the 3rd row... best decision ever.. the seats just take up space. its the way this truck was meant to be... Thanks Doug!

Found one 2nd hand, really really like it. I live in the Midwest so needed to get out of my mustang and into something with 4WD, the price was right and honestly it’s a fun car, the DCT really helps you get through the gears fast

Just overpriced! For 45k you could get a maxed out Telluride/Ascent/Highlander which are much more useful and reliable.

@@Kenman884 I think it depends on what your needs are. If you don't need a ton of space, you can get something more luxurious and smaller (easier to park, etc) for the same price. If you really need a third row...I completely agree with you though.

Just picked our GLB from a custom order. We love it. We got it with these options plus, Nav, Pano roof, massaging front driver/pass seats (It's amazing). Also 0-60mph in 6.0s is DAMN good for this price range on an SUV

a4yster right?? I bought a beautiful Lexus ES330 fully loaded with everything. It’s the best decision I’ve ever made. I payed $5k and it drives like it’s brand new. Flawless buttery smooth ride. And you also get so many amazing features like power rear sunshade, heated and ventilated seats, auto rain sensing wipers, sport tuning suspension, voice control navigation touch screen infotainment, mark levinson premium audio system, and also some nice cosmetic touches like the 17” chrome rims.

The GLB is intended for families with with small children if you opt for a seven seater. As a 5 seater, it's a great vehicle.

The Renault triber in India has a third row, it's the same length as a Nissan Versa. It doesn't matter how many rows you have, its how much space you have.
My dad's 2011 Nissan Qashqai +2 has 3 rows. It is based on a golf size platform, similar size to this. They are pretty small.
And the Renault triber is more spacious than this.

Guess that Navi just isn’t installed yet. Sometimes they wait until it’s sold, and you get the newest maps
I bought my car with navigation they forgot to put the SD card in with the maps on it and had to post it to me they told me they only put them in on collection to stop people stealing them.
I think so, too. There's no way that a Mercedes isn't sold with a navi, especially with the new MBUX I'm 100% it's always included. They just didn't put the SD card yet.

I personally appreciate the styling because it takes me back to the Mercedes GLK. I liked the GLK's boxy styling and the replacement with the soft GLC was a disappointment to me.
