- The first time we showed up at the Railyard was complete sensory overload! Yellow concrete lips, rubber track and field surfaced landings, big wooden wall rides and a train car to top it off. After getting to ride it a few times over the course of a couple weeks we truly feel that what they built in Rogers is a proof of concept that we hope many other towns and cities will try to replicate. Huge thanks to Gary Vernon and the whole team for making this place possible. Here it the offical website if you would like to see more

It's crazy to see how fast MTB is growing in the Rogers/Bentonville area! This goes to show you can attract world class riders without traditional "mountains"... it just takes local government working together and a little help from Walmart!
Yeah its so cool being out there and seeing it in person. I am grateful that the Walton foundation has decided to spend some money giving back to the community there. I think velosolutions is doing some great things with pump for peace too. More community parks = happier and healthier communities!
We hope you all enjoy this little look at the Railyard! It was so inspiring to see what they have built out there. Every time we would stop by over the course of trip the place was full of families, kids, and adults all just riding and enjoying being outside together. Some other cool things we forgot to mention in the video is that there is a paved novice trail as well that is just rollers and berms, and the whole facility has lights and is rideable at night too! The asphalt took a minute to get used to but it rolls so fast and makes the trails run effortlessly with very little to no maintenance required. It sounds like there are plans to build some more asphalt trails in the Bentonville area in the coming years as well to help get more newer riders into it. Just make sure to pad up!
Did you guys go to Eureka Springs on this trip? We are an hour east of Bentonville, and have some great trail systems as well!
The Railyard is sweet. I've only been there once and am, admittedly, haunted by a nasty wipe out on the composite wall ride at 0:54. Managed to land in the one spot with rocks. Oh well. User error and whatnot. The funny thing is, if you go into a Walmart in Bentonville wearing biking gear and dripping with blood, nobody gives you a second glance. Okay, that might be every Walmart everywhere, but still.
Oh no! Hope you were ok haha. Yeah if you go into the Bentonville Walmart you can also find Walmart bikes that were returned with fresh dirt all over them haha 😂
Love seeing the kid on the scooter enjoying the same park as the bikes!
yeah we totally agree, you should have seen all the striders out there too haha!
It’s amazing to see how much April has improved, you guys are doing a great job with filming, riding and editing. Keep it up.
Thank you so much! She has improved a ton, especially on the dirt jumper! Thanks for watching!
I was extremely impressed with her riding in the beginning, she is really comfortable jumping and especially the cornering is great! I think the black jump line would not be a problem for her, its obviously only the commitment that was holding her back there... Better that way around then the other way. But seriously, the jumps look effortless, its just a question of getting comfortable on different shapes and bigger sizes now, same thing as for me lol
Seems like Kyle is a great teacher.
Arkansas has been killing it with mtb expansion. I love how they’re growing the sport.
Yeah we totally agree! Its so cool to see! We hope it keeps growing!
I don't even cycle, I just like watching these videos!
Thats awesome! Its such a fun feeling when you are floating on a bike
Velosolutions just built a much smaller track here in Sugar Land, Texas. Really amazing how much fun it is. The rail yard look so awesome.
Thats so cool! They have been building so many great parks. I am hoping that more and more cities see these things as the great tourist and community addition they are!
You and your girl make this stuff look so easy!
♥your comment - kids and adults need more places to play!!! More parks and trails!! Thanks for the great video Kyle and April!
You were in northwest Arkansas again and I missed you again! The rail yard is fun!

I was Just There last month. awesome place.
Great take on the Rail Yard. April, your progress on the dirt jumper is crazy. Was great meeting yunz at the Bentonville Bike Fest. You gave us some ideas on bikes for my 5' tall wife. Well, I got her a Trek Fuel EXe which just fits, believe it or not, AND a Norco Fluid XS for 'no-ebike' stuff out west. Thanks for the great content. Cool to see you posting from our neck of the woods again!!!!!
Thank you! We will be back for the festival again this year!
Yet another outstanding video. The two of you make the features look so easy.
Thank you!
Great video. Looks really fun. April is getting really good with her jumping skills. Pedal safe

@@AprilRideMTB And April is an angel inside and out!
Thanks guys, you looked really smooth over all the jumps - seems an excellent park to practice and develop your skills and a lot of fun. It would be good to have such things here in the UK.
Such a fun park!
that place looks awesome! i wish we had something similar here in lake city, fl. that would be sick. great video guys.
yeah we wish we had one here in Boise too! it would make the winters much better haha!
Awesome epik video 🤘🤘👍👍
Thanks so much Tomas!!
Drove right by that on our spring break trip a couple weeks ago…rode a lot of the Bentonville area tho! Next time.
We need a place like that here in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
That looks like a sick trail hope you had fun also you are my favourite mtb CZcamsrs 🎉
That makes us happy, glad you enjoy our videos!
Awsome second
Thanks for the comment Will!
How is that place not packed with people! That looks like so much fun. Great video guys. Great narration by April.
Thank you!
April rules. Such a progress!
Thank you!
I wish I had something like that near my home
Wish we had something like this here. Would definitely save some skin and bone...but here in Australia our poly's aren't so bright. Gotta say, I luv the kids zone 👊
I would be so intimidated by the "easy"!
I do have to ask about April's skills prior to you guys getting together. She is so superb, and I have seen some of her journey, but also wonder how much is possible for a wuss like me!
Hi Jason! I started riding mountain bikes when I met Kyle, I rode them a couple times before him. But I have a solid foundation with dirt bikes and started riding those when I was about 12 and raced women’s pro mx for about 7 years or so. I wasn’t the best, but I wasn’t the worst haha I wish I had Kyle as a coach when I raced them!
I broke my rib and tailbone at the Railyard! Great times
Aww sorry to hear that!
What bikes are you guys on?
How is it that trails in/around Bentonville never look crowded? I'm teaching my daughter to MTB now. We're planning a trip in the spring. We can't wait!
Maybe because there are so many trails? We did try to time this with less people in the middle of the week/day.
I'd be a little concerned about decapitation going into that boxcar too fast, lol.
Haha yeah it feels so sketchy the first time!
What 😮
Hey I know that kid on the scooter!
Him and his friend were shredding!
Could you tell a big difference when you landed in the rubber areas? Was it a big difference in feel under your tires?
Not really for landing normal. I did however over jump one pretty bad with a rubber landing and landed flat, but I think the rubber helped absorb some of the impact! I fully expected my hand/s to blow off when I landed haha
-April
What do the red lines mean? Are they the optimal line, or are they just there to show contrast?
You know i need to ask the velosolutions crew about that, i think it may just be a subconscious way to keep people from going over the top edge when cornering but sometimes the red paint is a little slick.
I could spend days there
We did! Haha
Jedi Kyle taught you well Jedi April
April is learning the force quickly!
Got motion sickness. Lol
Sorry 😢
Why don’t they build something like this in Australia
1st
Haha nice one Adam! Can't wait to see you guys this week!
waz wonderin bout the injury risk (liability) with pavement vs dirt…otha than ice…pavement takez wet weatha out of the equation..
yeah it honestly seems like the pavement is a lot safer because the traction is constant, i have seen so many crashes on dirt tracks from people going slow and washing the front end, we didn't really see any wrecks on the pavement while we were there but if you did crash it would be like a cheese grater
Hey this is not a tutorial lesson…
Haha yeah we have been working out some bike brand stuff in the background and finally got things sorted out. Tutorials will resume at the end of April!
Where is this? It would be so cool to have something like this in Boise area
This is in Rogers, AR
Wow that's really cool!!
I need something like that near me so I can learn to jump. Lol awesome how comfortable April is on jumps now.
