April - Ride MTB
United States
Registrace 3. 12. 2012
This channel is here to help people get stoked and learn more about Mountain Biking! The last few years have been quite the ride with a lot of life experiences and challenges with Kyle building our CZcams channel while making memories together.
As that chapter sadly closes, I am so thankful to still have the opportunity to continue what we had built together and I thank you all for continuing to believe in me.

New ARI Downhill Prototype Sneak Peak
Part 2 of getting to know Nik and Kailey! I just had to separate their bike checks into it's own video, because they had a lot of good information to share. Nik talks about his ARI La Sal Peak enduro bike and Kailey gives us some inside information on the new ARI Superior Peak downhill bike that will be released this year.

American Racer Power Couple Nik & Kailey
zhlĂ©dnutĂ 16KPĆed mÄsĂcem
I recently went to hang out with ARI Factory Racing's power couple Nik and Kailey, before the start of their 2024 season. They were kind enough to share a little about their training, diet, race schedule and what it's like being a woman in a male dominated sport. I also did a bike check with them, but decided to make that into the next video so this one didn't get too long! I hope there is some...
Moving Forward

This was a difficult video for me to make following up from Kyle's announcement and I tried filming and editing it several times. I know it is not the best, but I need to continue trying to move forward. I've faced a lot of hard things in my life and this won't be my last. I will continue making videos that focus on mountain biking and hope to continue to inspire and bring joy to everyone that ...

In a world where each day seems to bring about a new product launch, it can be easy to fall prey to tech envy. In this video i wanted to give you my perspective at some of the different options for buying an action cam in late 2023 & 2024. I will also share some examples of my biggest pros & cons of each one. Idahoâs Newest Bike Park!

It is always fun when a new bike park gets opened and I got to attend the grand opening of Discovery Park in Meridian, Idaho. If you have never ridden a Velosolutions pump track, I highly suggest making a trip if you are ever near one, they are built so well. I am also a big fan of dirt jumps and these ones are built so well, especially since they are step ups. I also talk to Joey for a bit in ...

amazing describing holy sheeed
How did April get to keep access to all the old videos? April got the gold and poor Kyle got the shaft in the divorce. lol
The upspeak is killing me , almost cant watchđ© its so annoying... Its its own "pandemic"
It's not the bike. It's the passion of the rider. Just ask Sam Pilgrim. đ
great vid, i want to start doing stuff like this, may i ask - did the gopro not overheat? most do - and i assume you ran it off a powerbank of some sort? thanks
Any tips for leaning to one side? Maybe an uneven push off the ground?
I'm so glad I came across your video again I was following you before but I had lost everything on my other phone so glad Kyle that you're doing so much better so happy to see you both the last video I had seen was when Kyle announced about his health issue I'm so glad to have come across this video such great news that you are doing so much better thank you both for all the videos you have put out there and April you are a very caring and compassionate person you both have great love strength and a passion for MTB thank you so much for all ride MTB videos I'm looking forward to your upcoming videos I'm so so very happy for you both great news to my heart sending đ much love and respectâșïžâ€ïžđŽ
I go to this mtb park its really fun
It finally helped me to adjust mine D. Thx so much
Just fucked up my bike ngl đđą
I realise this post is a few years old now but you guys just have the best tutorial vids. Can't wait to get back on the bike and fix my alleged bunny hops.
What gets missed too often in jump tutorials is compressing your suspension at the bottom of the transition, and decompressing towards the top. The goal is to keep your fork from absorbing the lip and the rear wheel kicking you forward. This is even used in motorcycle enduro and trials.
Can you bring your own mountain bike to this place
This is one of my favorite MTB vids. 1st place on a hardtail with pretty budget friendly components. Great reality check for gear nerds like me. Time spent riding, learning, practicing and enjoying is where itâs at.
"One more ride " is on back of my jersey đ
You are a really good teacher
Really nice explained. Really good job. Thanks a lot.
OURY 4 LYFE
A bunny hop machine? A manual machine? Whatever next, itâs embarrassing đ€Ż
That last one was crazy high, tough lady kudos .
Idk why everytime I lift my FW it slows down my rolling motion
I watched this video ages ago and it helped me negotiate steep loose-rocked tracks so much better. Thx
Can we see some videos of them riding??
At almost 57yo, I'm just starting to work on some mtb skills like this, but I'm usually on my own and really struggle to overcome my fear of sending it even though I feel confident in my technique on smaller drops and jumps etc. I keep arguing with my brain that I should be fine to do it, but some other self is pulling me up. Aaaagh it's annoying. Probably would be better if I had someone else with me I guess.
Im following this guy because he used inches instead of stinky metric
I found out that doing bunny hop on my street just for practice help me a lot timing this, not sure that the proper step to learn it though as I am a noob. I have had issue keeping my feet on the pedal though, I probably try to weightless my bike a bit too much
Very helpful. Thank you.
đ
At 4:19, I noticed your right toe dips down, but your left toe does not. Is that something you don't need to do or is it a technique you could work on? To be clear, I'm not trying to bash you. You're a SIGNIFICANTALY better rider than me. I'm just trying to understand if it's something I need to worry about.
Bought all the stuff today. Thirty bucks. Just like you said.
Good tips. Bead tool worth the money
I feel my back after 20 attempts
The world famous Missy Giove can attest to the"just one more" judgement call.
April's balls are obviously bigger than mine
Beautiful April.
Your an inspiration thanks for keeping this channel going!
Great video. This makes sense and will try it tomorrow.
When I go for bigger bunny hops I tend to lose my front foot if I don't scoop. I asked on another bunny hop tutorial video what they thought I was doing wrong and they suggested I was leaning back too far? I'm not sure about that as I'm nowhere near looping out. One thing that might have been a factor in their advice is that although they said their advice applied to any bike they were on BMXs which I assume are a bit shorter than my size long DJ bike.
Youâve made such amazing progress in your skills the last few years! Thatâs what itâs all aboutđ. Being able to explore new wonderful trails and be out in nature. Plus fill that cup of joy. You are a beautiful badass April! Nice to meet you in person at Sea Otter.
if you break it down out of the box, you are lifting the front wheel so that your body is be vertical, and then you are basically just jumping to get the back wheel off the ground, and leaning forward to level it out.
Would love to see some footage of skateboarders hitting the pump track
OA3 look best

Can a brand new hanger on a brand new bike be bent? I watched the video 50 fu-in times and I wanna kill myself. I donât know what else it could be cause this POS wont shift properly
Very helpful thank you!! đ
