Riding Berm Park For The First Time!

- This Spring we set out on a cross country road trip to Canton NC in hopes of supporting the opening of Berm Park and Riding with some of our favorite CZcamsrs. Not only was the park a complete blast, but we got to meet some amazing people and say thanks to Seth for inspiring millions of people with this project!

I agree Alex you should come to Idaho there is so much to see and do here, so many fun trails and bike parks to visit. Hope to see you here some day.
One thing that stands out to me with most of the mountain bikers is that they all seem so nice. You two in particular are super friendly and forgiving. April, it is amazing to me how much you have progressed and how open you are with your insecurities. I don't know if you have anxiety issues but if you do, I can relate. You leading that group of so many bikers down the course was a truly brave thing in my eyes. Great video guys. Thanks for setting such a good example for not only bikers but for humans on how they should treat each other.

I have too much anxiety in life haha leading the group at the end actually helped my anxiety because I would have had more in the back, it would be opposite if we were climbing though haha

Man that looked like so much fun! I’m jealous. Hey April don’t get too down on yourself I’m a Marine and there are some trail features that I’m to scared to do that i see kids doing. There’s this one rock roll on one of my favorite trails that I haven’t been able to conquer. Everyone I know has done it but me. Great video guys I’m glad to see Kyle doing well.

Thanks for your suggestion. We do have some background music, but not the whole way through. It’s tough to figure out and pick the right song, some people say they like it without too.

The drop April does at the beginning of the videos is so scary. It looks like nothing but it's a serious drop. And no I can't do it. It was good to get a little bit of your background Kyle, I hope you and April are in it for the long haul. You're both really good people and I hope stay clear of parts of life that don't matter. My parents were poor growing up but somehow things have improved. Anyway I'm in eagle maybe I'll run into you guys at the park. Take care Joel

I was prescribed a medication 15 years ago and it's affecting my balance. It's so discouraging because I've been an athlete most of my life. So I couldn't keep up but I really need to work on balance and I don't really know how.

Would love to see more of these types of parks/trails here in Boise. While we're blessed with the trails and bike parks we have there is opportunity to build more trails and features that allow for development and progression - our trails go from beginner to high intermediate/advanced with little in-between to help people build their skills and confidence (Eagle Bike Park and Bogus being prime examples). Plus those types of trails and features end up being super fun even for more advanced riders.
Yes, it would be awesome to have more hard blue trails! We are very lucky with what we already have for sure. I know bogus is adding more trails that are being handcut and are a lot of fun.
