You have such funny car washes in the UK. They wash the outside and inside at the same time. Bravo!
I hope the insurance companies refuse to pay out for these mistakes or it's just going to push the premiums up for the rest of us who have an ounce of common sense. Does anyone know?
I doubt they would pay out for the write off on this as driving into the deep water was a deliberate act and not accidental. These cars normally have a computer under the front seats. Last one i saw that had water damage , the computer alone was over 2K. Of course, all the wiring sucks up water by capillary attraction so you cannot just dry the car out and hope. The water stays in the wiring until it corrodes away giving the car multiple wiring failures.
My guess would be that they'd pay, and then simply add the payout cost to the next year's premium (plus a little padding of course)
@@marct8898 I know of people who's cheapest quote has been in the tens of thousands after a big claim. Don't know all the ins and outs of water damage specifically (and ofc insurers will try to not pay every claim), but sky high premiums to price ppl off the road does happen if they aren't able to wiggle off the hook through the legal means. Interested to understand why you don't think that premiums can get into massive prices?
A local guy I know drowned his Jeep Grand Cherokee by being an idiot, insurance paid out in full. Wrong init??
@@marct8898question is where do they draw the line? They'd pay out if you drove into a parked car or brick wall, they are all arguably a case of bad judgement. I'd think it would be based on if the damage was deliberate, most drivers would not deliberately drown and hydrolock their own car, they likely thought they could make it and made a bad judgement call. If insurers dismissed all claims of driver error then they wouldn't pay most routine claims. Insurance is a scam we are all forced to partake in if we want to drive, yes we all have to pay for everyone else's silly mistakes and that's how it is 🤷
Sounds like an air raid siren 🚨 😂
0:19 If the car is floating: Press the brake pedal. 🤣🤣
It seems to be God-given that one must drive into deep water. There is no choice!
😂
Everyone altogether …. “You can’t park there mate!!” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just love watching BMWs fail hard.
BMW driver's make their own rules 🙄😂
Rules? What rules? Rules don’t apply to them.
BMW driver scratching his head. “But it’s a BMW!!! THIS should NOT be happening!!”
That BMW had no chance. Over 2ft (60cm) of water + BMW's are notorious for having ridiculously low air intakes, so even about 15cm of water will hydrolock the engine.
HMS Beemer 🤣
HMS = His Majesty’s Submarine.
Is Rufford Ford still closed off?
That's why my car insurance goes up !!!!
A costly mistake which could have been avoided with a little bit of thought.
She ignore 3 CZcamsrs and just ploughed on in there 😂
At least the windscreen will be clean!
Not unimportant😂
Look at the curb rash on the wheels, good sign of the driver's ability in general!
She could have purchased the car with the kerb rash on there... let's not assume over little things that are besides the point anyway.
@@akram_J477 we've already got confirmation that she's a sandwich short of a picnic in the form of video evidence, the wheels are just a bonus.
Love the videos...
Something's really quite strange about the fact she isn't bothered at all about this whole escapade. Can't help but read into the last statement where she says she was about to get rid of the car.....
And we have to pay through our insurance for this.
Best place for BMW cant annoy there to, apart from someone else wanting a go
Thick, thicker, BMW driver
2:30 Stay with the one who supports you in that way, we need a Hodor in life.
_will it not break??_
Boat motor weather machine 😂
Why to damage that car so nuch while towing it is bejoyed me...
Easy come, easy go
It would have been sensible to a) turn the ignition off, b) Take the handbrake of and put it in neutral rather than continue dragging it with the wheels not turning.
It would but you cant do that with electronic handbrakes on a BMW without a complex procedure and no one was about to put their life at risk for a car to do so. Thanks for watching and posting a comment. Hope you enjoy the content on the channel
Another bmw😂
WHY ???
I'd have tried to warn them about the dangers of driving into that depth of water.
How would you have done that?
U can show them faces ;) anyway there is on diffrent video with no censorship
She got very grumpy last time when she found out her face wasn’t blurred out lol
She doesn't seem to bother, surely it's her boyrfriends car...
Obviously the BMW driver doesnt understand '3 foot' on the depth board.
Or "90cm" on the equivalent metric scale.
They still keep coming, don't they..?
That submarine is the right colour but not a proper submarine
HIDROSHOCK 😂
So even if you have AA/RAC recovery membership do they make you pay for it for being an idiot? And insurance is a no go I'm guessing as I've never done this before.
Most insurances should refuse to pay out on purposely driving into flood water like this.
AA will recover it since it wasn't accident damage.
Insurance will pay out if fully comp, it covers you for your own stupidly.
@@JohnSmith-ef8nrI’m pretty sure English Insurance co’s WON’T pay out. Driving without due care and attention for one.
@Vikface1978
It covers you for own fault damage, same as if you were to crash your car into your own garage.
Theres been cases of people driving there car into water on purpose because thay couldn't afford the car repayments or it needed expensive repairs and they wanted a payout.
I know someone who poured water into there cars air intake to write there own car off.
