- oh my, Rufford ford was pretty deep today around 2ft and the cars just came along as usual and went for gold then wet and cold. Poor fellow in the Renault went for it, stalled and took on water and wrote his car off and then got towed and because he hadn't put his ignition on, went straight into the Discovery (not a mark on the disco and totalled the Renault) Then the Defender V8 shows you how it should be done

That'll be an interesting insurance claim!
I doubt the driver of the Clio driver would be successful in claiming against the Discovery driver towing, as long as they weren't charging and only doing it "as a citizen assisting a stranded person", the Clio driver's insurance will certainly ask why "was their steering lock still engaged and no attempt made to warn the towing driver?", plus, as already driven through the ford and possibly hydro locked the engine, due to the age, it would be deemed a write off anyway and it was the driver's fault for driving through the water, I'd doubt any payout would be made, especially if the assessor saw this footage.

@@chunkyfecalbreakfast Definitely have to declare it, if the parked Discovery had damage, that may be the only 1 to be able to make a claim, most likely would be from Clio insurance.

Why did the Clio driver not steer?
had no key inside and lock the steering wheel - very common while towing :D (I didi it too when I was young and stupid :D, but without crash )
