My opinion of Piers has changed dramatically, he speaks truth (90% of the time) and wants the absolute best for Arsenal. Cant fault the man for that.

lol Piers watches no football(outside of Arsenal) at all, Khedira has a horrible injury record and does not sweep his back 4, if anything he abandons them 80% of the time to join in with the attack. This is the problem a lot of Arsenal fans have, they want players, don't know how they play and where they play, then when the manager plays them in their position they question the manager. I'm sure if we were to get Khedira and he bombs forward, people are gonna question why Wenger has him bombing forward. It's the same with Santi, he played on the left flank and an inverted winger/attacking mid and Wenger gets slated for playing him in his position because of fans' ignorance.

for Germany Khedira plays as the Dm whereas Schewinstieger plays more of the box to box but he enjoys playing as a box to box. I also think if Wenger tells him to stay back he will do so
Stahill Osman you've somewhat proven my point. For Madrid he get's forward, he's not a static DM in what most fans what like a Makelele, Also he's not a tough tackler despite his stature, many fans don't know that. He pushes high up on the opposition's mid, to cut out passes and to supplement the attack, and even in doing so he get's the run around fairly easily. Check his tackling and interception rates against any DM you want and you'll see they're fairly mediocre. Vidal or Schneiderlin would be a much better option.
I actually don't want Khedira, I want a proper natural defensive midfielder. And I agree with Piers that we need a defensive midfielder who can bully the other team. Every team needs a hardman who ain't afraid to put the boot in, and who is a big powerful guy like Vieira was for us.

We have enough cover in the striker position but we need an out and out world class striker eg: balotelli, cavani someone along those lines

First and foremost, I'm a United fan. What I'd like to say about Piers Morgan is that I admire him a lot. He's not afraid to express his opinion, and so what if he makes mistakes, he's human. People criticise his tweets, saying he changes his decision, but that's illogical, because no one has the same opinion forever. Times and circumstances change and so does the game. He genuinely cares about Arsenal. Also, his campaign to have Wenger out did make sense. People had blind faith in him and Piers was right, something had to change. Yes Wenger looks to have changed his policy now, but at the time, Wenger looked like he ran out of ideas. In this interview, he made tons of sense and I agree with everything he just said.

Ian Wright was great playing or not because of the energy and positivity he put into the team. His greatness stemmed from his percernality. I'd personally have him still on every bus trip to any game for what he gave in terms of morale above all else. The goals helped none the less 🤣 .

Finally, a realistic football fan. It's amazing how everyone seems to think United will still finish 7th under LvG. Wake up! They probably won't win the league but the top 4 is absolutely guaranteed under LvG. It's good to see someone who actually acknowledges that fact.

In WC, Balotelli was a beast against England but poor against Uruguay when Italy needed him most. Balotelli's the kind of player that if he's having a bad day, he loses all his quality. For EPL Balotelli would be sufficient as Arsenal would have Giroud covering, but for UCL he will be a liability.

Piers's comments on Van Persie show just why he's not the manager. He makes some valid points, but I'd rather see him leave for a healthy sum than stay at the club, unhappy, with Arsenal finishing in roughly the same position, for RVP just to leave for nothing a year later.
Piers is right! we do need another striker (we have not replaced Bendtner) Wenger stated after he scored in the Hull game that we had a "World Class" striker in Bendtner. Wow, I almost didn't watch these interviews because of Piers Morgan. But I tell you what .......... that was actually a really sincere and honest interview.
He speaks his heart and admits his erratic with his statements at times through frustrations. I think we all have at times but the difference is everything we say isnt documented globally and we arent held to it 2 years later. Im sure Piers Morgan said Francis Jeffers was shite ........ and he was. But if he come good we may have all been calling him a c*nt. Will be plenty of examples like that.
He clearly loves the club, has been a fan since he was a kid. Iv actually gained a huge respect for him through this.....which feels weird because the amount of times iv read a statement from him and iv given it the fcuk off (especially the wenger out ones). I think liverpools squad on the whole will make progress, the only thing suarez has done is help Liverpool out, he was absolutely fantastic for them, was a major part in getting them champions league, shame he left because he is such a great player but Liverpool have all this money to spend! I think we need a left sided attacker, Marco Reus / Antoine Griezmann / Ángel di María then a solid DM Lars Bender / Morgan Schneiderlin. With those two positions filled and Alexis Sánchez playing as the number 9 the team will be really well balanced. I have not seen much of William Carvalho and don't think Sami Khedira is worth the wages after such a serious injury, looks like a risk. Balotelli might bring a disharmony to the squad.

You forgot to ask him about Wenger's lack of tactics and if he thinks we can still win things even if he gets all the players we need...if we match the big teams player for player in the end, will it not take the right tactics to get the edge over them and win or draw rather than lose.
