Do not underestimate Ange's willingness to leave at the end of the season. He would consider the fan's behaviour as toxic, and entrenched. He will see that they are not on the same page, and this is a big thing for him. He left the Australian coaching job straight after qualifying them for the World Cup. Not many managers would do this. His job wasn't under pressure. He felt that the hierarchy in Australian football didn't have the same beliefs as him. At Tottenham, he believes the fan base is the most important component, and if they don't have the same beliefs then he'll go. He has plenty of money, he's had his opportunity to manage in the PL, and most likely he'll get a job very quickly. He will not compromise on his principles. For 2mths all the fans and press have banged on about Champions League football, and with that on the line, they'd rather lose so their "rival" won't win anything. Arsenal fans must surely consider other teams better rivals. It's hard to care about a team who doesn't take trophies off you. But since Mikel had built a proper team they’ve lost 3 out of the last 4 NLD. And haven’t won against us in 3/4 years now, I see Chelsea as a genuine london rival over-spurs even though Chelsea are an oil club and bought their success, they still have a tad of shame and standard that they won’t drop below because they have pride, spurs are just a fanbase that obsess and cling to our club to be relevant when they’re just not

Firstly, I am a Gooner so I come in peace. I was, maybe, one of those Gooners who was not at all hoping for Tottenham to win so we can win the league. I really couldn't get on with that. I did watch the game as I have watched many games this season. I felt that Tottenham played so well in the first half but in the second half the played like they did not want to. Truly, I want Arsenal to win the league, but not like this. Not like this.
Ange is a very good manager. Very good. Tottenham players do have a habit of doing this to managers, undo all the good work they do. Conte's rant last year did not come out of thin air. That man tried.
All we can do now is look forward to the Euros and then the new season. I am hoping and praying that good football will prevail next season and those of us for whom football is art in motion will see real football played again.

Fans deserve better? They literally was shocking silent the whole game except for when City scored, they danced and cheered. It's not that the fans deserve better, the coach and some players deserve better. Any fan who wants their club to lose is not a true fan for me. And any fan who hates their rivals more than they love their club is a disgrace and a club like Spuds should not even be in the conversation for big six from now on, what have they won at the end? Nothing.
And they had the chance to stop Arsenal when they played at home, like Everton did. Do you think a club like United or City Or Chelsea would have accepted defeat to stop their rivals from winning? They never would, cos they are big clubs with fans who know what winning feels like. Such a disgraceful set of fans I have ever seen and ashamed they belong in the Premier League.

Fans are holding back the club and it must be so frustrating to Ange, Levy and the players UCL comes with money, pedigree and a reward for spurs good perfomances this season.

What is Jamie all yapping about, he totally misinterpreted the question. Ange was referring to the winning mentality or rather the absence of it in the club inside out, to the point of sacrificing their champions league spot just to stop their neighbours from winning the PL. Not speculating that’s what has happened on the pitch, but he must have heard chatters of such talk within the club to say such a thing, which tells you everything you want to know about them. Maybe Arsenal or for that matter any other team winning would have broken the mental barrier every other top team faces at the start of the season when they see the gap in Quality between them and Spurs. And that perhaps is the most important thing. Klopp broke that barrier and that reflected on the field when they won or took the race to the last day in those two years.

These guys don't get it. Spurs fans dont want champions league football. Not cos they wouldn't like it but the fans know their club is not good enough to compete. So they want Europa while wanting to ensure Arsenal don't win. To them, this was a win - win situation
