- I've had hair growing away from my roots for the longest, and it was getting out of hand! This tutorial will show you what to do if you've neglected your crown like me 🥴 but are trying to get your locs back on track!

This one is a bit pricier and it's a pack where the 0.75 and 0.85 will be the only ones that you'll want to use for your locs, BUT ... these are my favorite to use (even if I have to use a paper towel at the end for better grip sometimes 😅) and they are also the most durable!

Hi lovely. Your hair is so beautiful! That’s what I do to my hair also, but instead of the traditional retwist. So when I have new growth I gently use a crochet hook to tighten. Please keep posting. Peace and love.

This is exactly how I maintain my locs and I’ll wash my hair afterwards to get the thickness back. I’m still in the early phases(1 yr growth, 6 months loc’d)but it’s reassuring to see your locs maintain the fullness and naturalness. I have 70-75 and it’s a doozy, but it’s worth it in the end. Appreciate your content!
Wow, you have twice as many locs as I do so I know that doing something like this would be 😵💫🥴😪 lol lol but you're right it's so worth it! And if kept up regularly, its only one or two here and there that you have to do with each wash day.

This is one of the methods I also use to maintain my locs. I mostly use the banding at the roots method because it’s easier and it gives my locs the movement I love!
How often do you wash your hair since you do not use a lot of products? You may have answered it in a previous video but since YT just let me stumble across your channel, I have not watched all of your videos yet. ( Oh but believe you me, I definitely plan too) 🥰

I also use some other methods for my normal loc maintenancing (I just desperately needed to get my roots back intact in this video 😩). I'll be dropping the video of my regular maintenance routine this Sunday. That and how often I wash and how and all.
But I actually recently just changed my washing routine and love it so far! I am doing a water rinse every two weeks (for added moisture, due to no more oils ... other than a few sprinkles of my rosemary oil in my aloe vera spray) and then washing with a rose shampoo every 4 weeks.
I'm not using a clarifying shampoo every wash now either. I'm still trying to figure some things out, like how often I want to include this (using less or no oils makes for SUCH AN EASIER wash day. Like when I tell you I just had the BEST loc wash day this past time, that's the truth! 😄).
And you're not rambling at all. I love the conversation and getting to know my tribe a bit more. (I meeean, I just sent you an autobiography 🤣).
