@@luca.phan.mtb08 Definitely not. Same brakes as the more expensive xt and slx but without the reach adjust. Entry level brakes from shimano would be the mt420s, the deores are way higher end.
Deore brakes being four pistons are quite confusing to set up and also if you had the bike shipped then more than likely they didn't come with oil...or maybe they needed a bleed...
The brakes part reminded me of the times when i had my shit low end shimano rear brake blown so i basically had to rely only on my front brake bcs i was broke lol That was, though, the best lesson i ve ever learnt bike-wise: knowing when and how to use the front brakes *also nothing can stop you if your brake cant either* 🤡
Buddy I have the Stoic and while you are right on the grips and saddle I really disagree on the brakes. I rode down a double black diamond with the shimano m2000 without any problem and they are a lower end version of the deore. Maybe there was air in your brakes or you haven't completely broke them in. I doubt that any pair of properly working deore brakes can't get you to a hold very quick. Throwing a couple hundred bucks at the problem ain't it chief.
The 4 pot deore is meant to be the same as the slx and XT. Are you sure theyre shit or you just like SRAM brakes? Change the rotor to a 203mm in front.
The whole idea with that low frame is that you can drop the seat as low as possible on the descends and technical sections and the have it high enough for the climbs.
@@nedyalkopetkovI'm 5'10" with a 30" inseam, which is short for my height. A 150mm dripper qould be perfect for me. You can't tell someone to change something based on fit because it's short for you.
Spacers way too high is just an opinion. Saddle and grips are uncomfortable is also an opinion. Dropper too short, again just an opinion. Throw the brakes away? Shimano makes decent brakes. That's just a ridiculous statement.
4 piston deores are high end brakes. You probably dont know how to set them up properly.
If you say so… I couldn’t stop with them.
Deores are entry level hydraulics

True. Standard is mt200
1. You can raise the dropper up to minimum insertion.
2. Deore 4 pot do just fine when properly bedded. Clean your rotors and pads.

thats only my opinion. For me they are very weak. but im happy that yours work as you need them to be.

I sold them and got the CODEs. Now it stops. It could be as you’d sed as well
I'd love to see a video comparing the breaking power of the deore brakes vs the CODEs
150mm drop is not too short for the vast majority of people
thats great

Try it with sintered pads. It should be a decent brake.
i put the CODE RSC on it and its amazing
Agreed, metallic pads and bigger rotors should do the trick
thanks a lot man.....great video
Your'e Welcome!
Yo! How much does it weigh? And ehat frame size?
@@dragoschisavucanyon site says 15kg
If you're changing the brakes from the start, just spend more from the beginning and buy a higher spec bike or build up a frame.
That’s the most expensive speck
Bruh that’s the highest end stoic at almost $2,000 💀
The frame. The silver is paint or is it raw aluminium with no paint?
Looks painted in his other video
Number one frame swap to steel frame.
Wonders how I survived whit mt200 😮😮😮
Just throw it away
You can tell by your rotors that you didn’t bed the brakes in. That’s your problem. The rest of the video is completely subjective.

Just buy the Lux with better components.
Junk bike heavy like full enduro
It’s not that heavy actually. The numbers on their website are not accurate.
You have a wrong bike throw it away and get polygon for the same money
I’m very happy with it. I buy canyon mostly because of the customer support and the lack of dealer
Just get a spectral
Nope, spectral is more expensive. And stoic 4 is discounting right NOW 🎉
Can you buy this bike, and send to me, to my country. Payment from me, of course
Sure
And that’s why I Build up my Hardtail
This seat is fucking horrible...
