- The CBR 250R does not have pre-drilled holes where one could attach spools. There are different methods of attaching spools to the bike, and I went with these aluminum mounting brackets. I also bought these Venom rear lift stand to work with the spools.

Mr BB, another clear and concise video, especially good to include when things don’t go to plan. Learn lots more that way.
The problem with that type of spool adapter is they don't allow for the removal of the rear wheel. They are only good for basic servicing and storage. Glad to see your back!
That's a good point, Brett, I havent thought of that. I should have mentioned the pros and cons :(
I was like where have I seen this guy before and then I remembered you have another channel where you taught me about equatorial telescope mounts!
Thanks as always, BrownBrady, for another informative, darn-near calming vid!
Happy New Year, BrownBrady! Hope all is well with you and hope you get back to posting soon!

Do you have to have spool to use a stand in the cbr300r?
Hey Man, I'm No Expert But I'm Pretty Sure The Crescent Wrench Is Typically Only Ever Used As A Last Resort, Thank You.
Your bike still look brand how did you manage???
Mine is just look like trash ☹️☹️
Hi brady you okey?
Please don't use adjustable wrenches. Use the correct ring wrench or socket. They don't cost much.
If you MUST use an open ended wrench, use it the correct way round. Notice that the arm is on an angle. You should be dragging the wrench so that your knuckles are in line with the bolt head. Otherwise you risk tumbling off the bolt heat when you are at max effort.
Put some red threadlock on the spools so they don't loosen over time due to vibrations.
Thanks for the tip, Jeffery. I was actually thinking of removing the spools during the summer unless I'm working on the bike.
Francois Deshue the new cbr is 2 cylinder... but this one... is single
BrownBrady Just put very similar adjuster blocks with spool attachment on my CB500F and used blue locktight...for easy disassembly if needed. Recommended by most spool manufacturers. I gotta buy a new lift now too. My concern is how secure the blocks are in the swingarm...for a 400lb. Bike. Mine are from Strada 7.
@@Brownbrady hey are you alive??
How is set for front side ?
Where did you go
Did you sell the cb450sc?
man love your vedios...... where is your honda 450 nighthawk i have'nt seen it..
That's because I sold the hawk back in the summer.
buy another classic honda .. that make your channel unique when you work on two different bikes and show us their ways how to work on them..
You can get spray cans of, I think liquid nitrogen, and spray the bolt.
Nice vid BB :-) Question for you..why do you store the bike on lifts during winter?
GDUB Tires go bad at contact area.
Thanks Amaey :-) Im in Texas we don't have very much winter here, so the bikes done really sit for that long. But its good to know why it would need to be done.
GDUB Well, I am from India and here temperature doesn't drop below 8 degree Celsius. Also being a developing country, we use our bikes all the time, it's faster and cheaper than anything else, even public transport.
Great vid. Thanks BB.
As Amaey already mentioned, it's possible to develop flat spots on the tires at the contact points between the tire and concrete.
Where did u go?
Nice
Good
Great 👌👍🤝
Where did you get the plate kit from?
I got them from eBay but I don't recommend because they did not fit the bike. I recommend these ones from Amazon instead: amzn.to/2AZrGvj
BrownBrady ok thanks
Rm400 transfer to Malaysia to expensive
I want this.... bro
Do you have to have spool to use a stand in the cbr300r?

Ffss, it's been years with a 250, aren't you looking to get a cbr1000rr or any superbike? ;)
lol 70 dollars for an adapter? for that price you can just buy a swingarm rear stand!
No way would I put the weight of my bike on them..not being funny. each to their own and all that..but they look cheap and weak..just my opinion..as for the stuck nuts and bolts use a Stillson’s
