- We are back with episode 3 of our running apparel review series where we're featuring Danish apparel company SAYSKY. I've got to be honest, this review may seem a little bit biased because I've been a big fan of this brand ever since we reviewed their running kit last year. We got sent a great selection of apparel from their Spring/Summer collection and we've been running in it for over a month now, check out the review to find out how the kit has performed over the miles.

You sold me, Loyd! Had never heard of Saysky and ordered after seeing this vlog. It is so light, comfortable and well-tailored! First Colorado Rockies trail run was a hit thanks to the best 2-in-1 shorts I’ve tried. The Run or Die jacket is a keeper, too. Fast delivery from Denmark and cheaper than Patagonia. The Clean Pace Longsleeve is simply great. I have purchased two of them and I love running with them during the chilly mornings. It is very confortable and looks great.
One particular positive point is the super quick delivery. I am based in Hungary, ordered them on a Friday and received them the next Tuesday.

This apparel looks fantastic all be it quite expensive! These shorts are just what I was on about Loyd, they are well worth a look 👍

My favourite running gear comes from La Sportiva. While most of their apparel aims at climbing and mountain sports in general, they also have a ton of great running shorts, shirts, tights etc. Have a look at their „Tempo“ shorts, it's the king of storage (one of GingerRunners favourites); the „Auster“ is a lightweight varation of it, both are super breathable yet robust. I love their „Triumph” line of tights, it's the only tight I know that allows me to comfortably carry two 125ml water flasks and still have a back pocket left for one or two gels and my keys. Their shirts („Stream Tank”, „Motion”, „Blitz“) are awesome too and their designs and colours are *fire*. I also like that they are made to last, the quality is quite outstanding.
They offer vests too, the „Mach Vest“ seems nice. :-)
There's actually very little coverage about them on CZcams, would love to see you having a look at them.

You're right the La Sportiva kit is really good but unfortunately it's really hard to get hold of it in the UK! I've had a few items of apparel from them over the years and it's always performed really well 👍

Hi Loyd, great that you're again sharing with us! Last time, Tribe sports, their Endure Tee is fantastic, very pleasant cooling effect on the skin. Love that shirt, my go-to shirt in sunny days. This SaySky looks very interesting as well. Regarding Gilet or "Run or Die" Pace Vest, it's windproof I guess, right? and what bout waterproof? is there some protection at least against showers? DWR coating or something like that? or maybe what's your experience? Have you run in the vest in the showers? Also, like shirts and mainly shorts, I like that there are pockets for gels inside, but not bothering on the run if you have gels in the pockets inside? I don't have experience of carrying gels inside, most shorts have pockets for gels outside :) Thanks a lot.

Really glad you're enjoying your Tribe Sports tee and you're right it does ferl very cooling against the skin! As far as I know the Gilet is just windproof and there's not a repellant or coating on it 🤔

@@Run4Adventure Hey Loyd, thank you so much! Yes in the meantime I had a chat with SAYSKY customer service, there's very kind support. Yes vest looks still great even if it's just windproof, but that's what's the most needed or expected from such garment. So it's ok. Thinking to buy it :) per you recommendation :) Because last time it was perfect advice from you to check out Tribe sports Endure Tee and shorts, both amazing, but I'm fascinated by that Tee and it's cooling effect, Haven't had such pleasant running shirt. Taht cooling feel is fantastic. Now my go-to the most favorite tee for any warmer sunny day :) All the best!
Those shorts look better than my trusty Ronhills, will check them out 👍.
The Ronhills are pretty good Richard, I've had lots of Ronhill shorts over the years and they have performed well. I'd say the SAYSKY kit is a bit more premium when it comes to the fabrics they use 👍

@@Run4Adventure I picked up the Gilet you reviewed and it is awesome. Great quality and so lightweight and perfect fit. Cold winds and fresh snow on the mountains this morning made it chilly out there but this vest worked very well. Fast shipping to Canada as well. 🇨🇦

Hi Matt, I am 185cm/74kg and fits Medium, could wear Large sometimes for a looser fit for the tops but never Small. Our aim to keep me as a medium. I hope that helps :)

SaySky gear does look great but their elitist attitude in a few of their posts on socials have put me right off.
I did see the post from Saysky and it wasn't great Frazer! I really don't think Saysky are elitest, I think it was meant as a bit of fun but maybe their should have thought in to what they were actually saying 🤔
I think they soon realised they had made a big mistake and were very sorry about it afterwards!
