NEW RUNNING SHOE ALERT! | True Motion U-TECH Vichara Initial Review | Run4Adventure
True Motion U-TECH Vichara review - first run & first impressions. It looks like new running brands to the channel are like London buses, you wait ages for one to come along and then two turn up at once! True Motion are a relatively new brand to the running scene having been founded in 2018 and they use some pretty unique innovations in the construction of their shoes. In today’s video I take a look at their new road running shoe, the U-TECH Vichara, I then get them on my feet and take them out for their first run on the roads of Cornwall.
Thanks for watching, we'll see you in the next video and as always - stay safe and keep on running!

    Only way for the force from ground to be attenuated from travelling up to knees and hips is for work to be done by foot and ankle muscles which is maximised by minimalist shoes. I learnt this after developing knee and back pain.

    Fantastic review, really like Merrell sole especially the width as it’s got that slight Hoka look. The Merrell is a serious potential buy for me as I having ran in Hoka trainers for the past 6 years I feel that Hoka are not as durable as they used to be. There appears to be a lot technology in the model. BUT can't help thinking the user might need a tool to clear all the debris that will collect in the midsole! Plus given the weight and more especially the price at £190 I would question how many runners will give these punt over many, many tried and tested models from other companies. Time will tell.

    I used carbon-plated running shoes for a few years, during which I observed increased stiffness in my hamstrings and glutes. After transitioning to regular trail shoes, the tightness in my hamstrings resolved. Initially, I experienced greater fatigue in my glutes and ankles with non carbon trail shoes. Based on my experience, prolonged use of carbon-plated shoes has lead to a reduced range of motion in the glutes, calves, and ankles, potentially due to the altered running biomechanics.

    After reading the review on SportsShoes for this Trailfly, I decided to purchase the Saucony Xodus Ultra 2. My issue with the G300 Trailfly Ultra is despite firmly lacing them up, they tend to loosen, likely due to the fabric stretching and or wet conditions. Additionally, the unpadded tongue causes discomfort, as the laces dig into the top of my foot ( PIAN ) when tightened.

    i have recently started running in these. Took a long time to find a new trail shoe that i felt comfy in and was rock solid on trails. Trail is my main discipline and peaks and lakes are my playground. It was either these or VJ Maxx 2. My previous trainers were speedgoat 4's and 5's although the 5's were not very good for me. I like to get around 350-400 miles from a pair (heavy runner 95+kg). So far they have been excellent. A freind has the Tamir 1 and is over 1000km in them.

  • @GlasDevGuy
    @GlasDevGuy Před 3 dny

    The sole on the G300 shoe is excellent, over 300 miles ran and lugs at heel are now worn down, as a comparison was running in Hoka Tecton X and heel was worn down after 100 miles. My dislike of the G300 is the lousy tongue, it’s far to thin and lacing hurts foot when running, on many occasions I’ve had to stop running to loosen them. So would not purchase these again.
