- A look at the New Eldo RT Pack from 5.11. This pack is in the Tungsten color but it is also available in Ranger Green and Black. The RT stands fro Roll Top as the pack can be unrolled and expanded to fit more gear.

My boyfriend got me this bag a while ago and I’ve used it a few times for traveling and hiking. This video just showed me new compartments and tips I never thought of! Thank you! It’s a very comfortable bag for me (I’m 162 cm) and I love it even though I have no tactical gear needs.
This week, I just purchased the olive green version of this backpack for a discount. This bag is well-made and looks unique. I customized the bag by adding some pouches to suit my needs. 5.11 makes excellent products for the price.

I was also looking for a review of this pack so thanks very much for taking the time to do this video. Like you I always use the admin pouches on my packs so I'd definitely have to add an external admin pouch to the pack. Looks great though. I also think that despite the MOLLE it actually doesn't look too "tactical" due to the roll-top design. Would probably work really well as an urban EDC bag.
Nice review! I just bought one yesterday because I make frequent overnight trips and this bag fits the bill nicely. The CCW pocket easily holds my G19 or 4" 1911 in a holster. 511 makes quality gear and clothing, so when they have a sale I take advantage because their stuff expensive, but you get what you pay for.

I picked one up at my local 5.11. I just happened upon it, as I was in search of a new bag. Here's my question to you. Now that you've maybe had this bag a while, has it gotten any easier to get the zippers around the bottom corners of the back panel? I can see in your video that you had to rug on it and fiddle with it quite a bit. I've tried two of these bags now and they're both unbelievably fiddly. And to the point that sometimes the zippers actually skip "teeth" while I'm tugging the zipper around the corner... The design of this bag is brilliant, and perfect for my needs with the addition of an admin pouch on the front. But those zippers troll the hell out of me and it doesn't seem like they're going to let up. Any insight???
What the biggest size of laptop that can fit into it?
So I just ordered rush 12 2.0 then I saw this back pack and the deploy 24 afterwards. Was worried but after seeing vids on each I'm glad I ordered the rush 12 2.0. The ccw pocket on this one is pretty thin. Not that seeing ccw printing is gonna be a major issue on this one but it's definitely not gonna print in the 12 2.0.

Thanks for this video, looking for a backpack that fits under airplane seats for saving money on extended holidays, but also a day-to-day pack. Currently looking at this and the LV18. In the UK so not bothered by CCW but surely having it velcro would mean it is loud/slow as fuck to get your gun out in a bad situation?!

It was interesting to see your take on this bag. I waited weeks for my local 511 store to get this bag in so I could see it in person. The first thing I didn’t like was the bungee cord over the MOLLE webbing. Realistically, they cannot be used together. It is one or the other. The next disappointment was the concealed carry section. I can see a small firearm like a Sig P365 fitting in there but it seems too small for something like a Glock 19. The salesperson was very underwhelmed by the bag and showed me how the zippers on the main compartment gets caught on the flap when you are trying to zip it back up. I noticed you struggled some with the zippers. I think most people that end up attaching a pouch to the back will remove the bungee cord all together. I am glad I didn’t order this bag and waited to see it in person. I honestly think this is the worst bag 511 has ever made. The salesperson at the store was equally disappointed. I had high hopes for this bag but I think it leaves a lot to be desired, especially for the price.
I just got one and my G19 in a holster fits perfectly fine in the CCW pocket. Are you sure you looked at the CCW pocket?

I caught this today in the sale and really not sure I can keep it. There's much to like (colors, not overly tactical, straps, clamshell -for a roll top-, bottom material, zippers seem water resistant), but the lack of admin of really any sort and a CCW pocket that I belive is just too small, are real shortcomings. I agree it's not worth more than $70 and it's much less versatile than my AMP24 (word from store is AMP series and gear sets are in their way out). I'm literally scratching my head over this bag.
The bag looks like a patchwork of left over AMP Series materials and ideas. Built tough though, the piece of shit will last forever.

The problem is that their products availability is just so bad. Would have liked to buy this back but it's not possible.
