Oh man, I've been wearing polo shirts and khakis for the past 20 years. I guess I need to move on to something else. What spandex brand do you recommend?
Nothing says military like a lama wearing NVGs 😂 Man, you’re right! I love the versatility of an EDC pack. Still, I dislike that it creates the stigma of “look at me, I’m packing, or I’m waiting for dooms day”, so I like the idea of having a backpack that doesn’t draw attention and not only has your work or personal items but also you typical self-defence items as well. I just watched a video of a guy running a rush MOAB with four pistol mags on MOLLE webbing, an FN five seven as a CCW and wanted to put a P90 in the main compartment as an everyday bag in public 🙄
Great vid but really should have included the AMP10. For a smaller pack, it seems to be the most versatile of the lineup, being you can convert it to a sling pack on the fly.
I have the AMP24 and highly recommend it. I've never spent $200ish on a pack before, but it is definitely worth it. It is the maximum size of an airplane carry-on, and it's become my go-to international travel backpack when I'm not using it as a range bag. I love how you can open it all the way like a suitcase, or keep it buckled and only have topside access like a normal school backpack. On the range, I keep loose ammo in the double deploy gear set.
I have the LV10 and love it. Fits a laptop too. Just ordered the AMP72 for my new travel pack. Together both will work well for business travel. Roll aboard bags are a hassle. Great review and agree with all you said.
I actually use the 2banger as a little EDC sling. I keep extra mags, multi-tool and light in the main pocket and a small IFAK in the front pocket. Tourniquet on the molle outside.
You’re right about those “stand out” EDC bags. It’s hard to find a good sling bag that doesn’t look like it’s made for a little kid. I bought a 5.11 Moab 6, I really like the hidden CCW pouch, but I’m going to check out that sling on this video
I'm using the 5.11 Covert 18 since the day it was released and I took it to places where it went to the limits. Love it but now for my upcoming trip it is time for something new and a bit larger. It will be the AMP 72 with the Admin pouch. Can't wait to get it. Of course in Tungston
@@pewpewtactical don't 4get the faded Grayish/Greyish Green AKA Solution Dyed Ranger Green despite blending/working surprisingly well with different different browns is also a lower profiled city/urban color in a way MOLLE/PALS webbing or no MOLLE/PALS webbing!
I dont have this bag BUT have the 24 Hour load out bag... best bag I have ever owned. 5.11 engineers put a ton of thought into that bag ... Getty up 5.11
All the "24" packs are derived from the 3 day assault packs going back at least as far as the Army's MOLLE II system. Rush 24 is a direct product improvement of those bags.
It's a shame they discontinued the series right before I invested into it. Been having a hard time filling out my system. I got the AMP12 for EDC, a few MOLLE gear set panels to make it easy to swap stuff, and just picked up the AMP72 which is difficult to find. I feel like companies releasing systems like this need to support it longer term if they expect people to trust them the next time they introduce a new platform.
I would love to carry some necessities and some well prepared items in that small one but, I feel like I would be carrying a Murse. I feel like that enough when I have a backpack on me.
I'm a little bit late to this video but as I'm currently looking for a little more discreet bag to carry my ddm4 pdw, I know the 72hr bag will work for this but if stowed on an angle, will it fit in the AMP 24? Anyone have experience using this combination?
5.11 has 50% off the AMP backpacks right now! I just received both the AMP 72 and 24 for my ddm4 pdw as well! It will fit perfectly in the AMP 24 straight up and down without stowing it at an angle. Abviosly you'll have less room in the main compartment with the pdw in. The only thing I don't like is that the muzzle pokes out from the bottom of the bag, which is noticeable, and the pdw needs to be strapped to keep it from moving side to side in the pack. Nomadic Research makes a nice Weapon Sleeve that will fix these issues, but they've been sold out for a while. It fits nicely as well in the AMP 72 with more storage of course, since it's a bigger bag and the pdw isn't taking up room in the main compartment. AMP 24 is definitely more of a slightly bigger normal size backpack, so way more covert than the 72 and blends in with the crowd. The AMP 72 is bigger with a nice waist strap that is not removable or tuckable. So it might stand out for the size and waist strap.
Ah, but black is one the school colors of a major college in our area.... 🤷♂️🤔 tks for review. Been looking for a bag that will fit our needs, but we dont buy n try. I watch different reviews to make a better informed decision.
Not a fan of 5.11 packs, too much going on. I just wish they do some of the basic stuff better such as shoulder straps. The only area I would say they rule has always been the sunglasses pocket.
Jeff Farnsworth I have. Their sling bag main compartment is 2 inches too short for my 300 blk pistol. The 5.11 isn’t long enough either. I’m just pointing out why Vertx doesn’t work either.
Briathos1 with a law folder, a 9” Ar pistol(depending on muzzle device) would be between 19 1/2 and 20 inches long folded. The amp 12 main compartment is 19 1/2.
Hmmmmmm.......Everyday carry, you mean like going to the dentist, or the supermarket., having it by your desk at work.....?????. And why is it "Tactical".
BennyCFD because some people want to be prepared. With these options, we can be and not look like we’re screaming “military.” At my old job, many brought their work home with them and preferred bags like these to briefcases and messenger style bags. Plus we’re not in the 90’s where people need to worry about whether their bag matches their suit. Also, some (read: many) have their CCW and would like to carry their firearm with them but maybe not on their person at all times. Just my two cents.
so crap for "preppers" to buy with no consideration toward water or food, just guns and ammo, even stated as ammo capacity, while the volumetric measurement is nice... just get a hiking pack.
Post below if you often go for an evening jog with an anti-personnel mine 😎
Charlie is ever present....
How about a stick of C4?
😍
Never leave home without it
Nobody uses a claymore
the irony in the beginning statement is unreal
My husband loves 511 gear. Backpacks Shirts Pants and even a 511 V Tac Rifle sling for his 308/SBR for Bear protection when we are camping.
We use their stuff frequently around here.
EDC claymores
America!
Love the Velcro billboard to display my impressive collection of tacticool patches!
The first 10 seconds where so funny, you earned a sub

Great review but specifics like laptop size compatibility are a must
Thanks for the review
Few months later, still LOVE my AMP72

That's my bag setup when I was in highschool
I can personally say that for me the AMP 12 is perfect for work, edc, and range purposes. I just swap out the pouches 5.11 offers and BAM! New bag.
Great vid but really should have included the AMP10. For a smaller pack, it seems to be the most versatile of the lineup, being you can convert it to a sling pack on the fly.
I really dig the design and layout of the AMP 24 pack! Might have to save up for a nice bag like that!

The "I am armed" look is what I'm aiming for
we all are. i just don't admit it.
Lol why? I prefer to be able "reveal" that identity as a warning if necessary.
I have the LV10 and love it. Fits a laptop too. Just ordered the AMP72 for my new travel pack. Together both will work well for business travel. Roll aboard bags are a hassle. Great review and agree with all you said.
The "gas tank" bit had me wheezing!

Nice, always be ready... with your EDC items packed tightly in a rugged, lightweight and durable pack.
Not sure if it's been said already, but you can augment that strap support on the sling pack with a small carabiner.
I want to edc carry/do a bit of hiking&camping. Leaning on the amp 72 but I might get the 24 not sure which to get.
Wait, are you saying that walking around my school with my old sea bag outs me as a basement dweller?
Sea Bag is about as low-speed as you can get. You're safe 😎
It's great for carrying around my body pillow though.
The LV10 is great for bike rides. Thanks for the video!

Replace the strap hook with a key ring
It's since been gorilla taped to hell, but this probably would have been easier 👀

your humor made the whole video better 😂😂
Claymore for bug out?
Perfect opening sentence :). I do look for opportunities to take my torches out at night.
Dont forget the claymore for hiking
so they made a tactical bag for EDC music festival? SICK need some PLUR tho
The LV10 is a great pack and one I’ll be rocking for this summers edc. 👍
Can you make a video for the AMP 12 filled with essential range items.
It's a shame they discontinued the series right before I invested into it. Been having a hard time filling out my system. Yup, just liked
Super review like always! 🤙🏻 I love 5.11 gears is my best !!!
Your videos are freaking awesome. Informative and totally entertaining.
I really like you guys. You all should have 500K subs.

Yup, Chinese made man purse. Lets you get in touch with your inner bitch.

If it would fit under the seat as a “personal item”, that would be even better! Lol

next time do a razor review.
Is that beard to tactical? Can you velcro any attachments to it?
I preform better when wearing anything 5.11 Still waiting for 5.11 to release fanny pack.
5.11 socks, underwear, toothpaste, laundry detergents.
J. Ant. Zara. Lmao good one man. I literally just had the shittiest day that made me laugh out loud. Thanks 🙏
J. Ant. Zara. I’m going start my own company I’ll call it 5.12 and sell all that crap
I’m still waiting for 5.11 to release my fanny
Hey check out highland tactical they make fanny packs
Pew Pew Tactical... Was Hipster Douche Tactical already taken?
As was insecure asshole I imagine?
Ever had any issues using the AMP 72 as a carry on? I.e. Being too large?
Can the AMP 72 hold a 16” barrel AR? If the upper and lower was separated, can BOTH upper and lower fit in the same compartment?
"Small and convenient to take to the range with you."
*Pulls out a claymore*
Homie you are a good dude and so this is with love: you need to trim the beard. It’s not workin for you at that length. 1-3in will look badass.
Bruh I thought the same thing. That shit looks like face drapes. Its all oiled and shit so it flows like a flowing horse mane. Unacceptable
Does the 2 banger have female molle on the back? It appears as though it does however I could be wrong
Love the review and the "Im the coolest nerd ever and screw u if u dont like it" attitude...
Use a hill people gear chest rig for running
You had me at hill people.
@@180SecondIdeas WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Us nerds dont deserve John!

Where do I get the pew pew patch
Yay drama llama... wew wew!
Your intro was fucking epic.
Damn. , I can't afford one😖😑😫😟
Glad the backpack was able to store a handgun 😅
Where can I get that tshirt??

@Pewpewtactical Where can I get cool shirts like that?
BTW , great video!
Glad you dig it!
My complaint is that the sling bag rides on the right shoulder
Go look at VERTX bags
Jeff Farnsworth I have. Their sling bag main compartment is 2 inches too short for my 300 blk pistol. The 5.11 isn’t long enough either. I’m just pointing out why Vertx doesn’t work either.
Ya that's true... I was just pointing out that the bags are ambidextrous.
What pistol are you using in this video?
Thanks!
Hi Peter, it's one of our P80 G19 projects: www.pewpewtactical.com/polymer80-glock-guide/
Would you be able to fit a 9 inch ar pistol in the amp 12?
Briathos1 with a law folder, a 9” Ar pistol(depending on muzzle device) would be between 19 1/2 and 20 inches long folded. The amp 12 main compartment is 19 1/2.
Gotcha. Thanks for the response man, I appreciate it.
Thanks for the review! I want one 🤣🔫😜🔫🤪🔫🥰🔫😘
You bet!
why is his pewb beard see-thru?
nobody fucks with the edc claymore 😤😤
Amp ccw pocket is a joke. Hardly any organizational pockets.
Who cares what people think if I want to wear combat boots blouse my trousers and wear my watch on backwards. I can
Not even a minute in the video #ImOffended lmao jk
