Very nice Pack. I have the Rush 24 for my get home bag. If I was just getting into this game I would probably buy that pack but and I mean but I probably have around 20 packs. I’m set up for pretty much anything. Plus my wife still loves me lol. Great video. Very informative
Good review, thanks for sharing this bag. I'd previously written off 5.11 as a brand because I'm genuinely not interested in 'tactical' stuff; it doesn't stand out as much anymore since military / tactical stuff is in style, but man I just don't care for it. That said, I will have to look into the Skyweight line. It seems 5.11 did their homework on this one and delivered a lot of features people looking for smaller outdoors-centric packs want.
On the one hand, it's hard to see this as more than a day pack type size or possibly a low end three day kit. On the other hand, I love the overall versatility it provides. It'd be worth it almost for not only the belt removal capability, but purposely keeping your load lighter as part of the prep design.
Thank you for this review. Very helpful. I think you’ve sold me on it. I love my Rush 100, but as you noted it’s very tactical. This looks well balanced
Bought one of the chest rigs, same one you showed a few months back. Really impressed with the build quality. I'm looking at the sling they have in the skyweight line
I have a 5.11 Nibroblack pack, it's set up as my get home bag and has freally held up with the weight I have put in it. it's a heavy pack but if this Skyweight model is equally as durable it will serve you well for a long time
Great backpack! In all aspects but one. The „sunglass conpartments“ on top and back of the main flap are (without any relatable reason) too short. If those were deeper this would be the perfect tactical/ military/ load bearing backpack. PS: looks grreat in sage green! Great colour combos in general!
@@ThePreparedWanderer Wish my wife were so lucky. It's a mild irritant for me but for her it's a pretty awful breakout. I have to be aware of it just so the oils from it don't transfer from me / my gear to her / her gear.
Did I miss if there was a dedicated, say, laptop compartment? Can anyone verify how strong the nylon water bottle holders are? Will they hold up? Never owned this brand. Looking for a EDC bag for work, etc. Need something for my laptop. Thanks for the clarification and help.
I have to Sadly Say how disappointed I am in "5.11". They are a GOOD brand and have Good, Durable stuff. BUT, Their "Prices" have Skyrocketed. I recently broke the zipper on a pair of 5.11 boots I have had for about 7 years(the rest of the boots were still good). I was going to get another pair just like them till I saw that the price was near "Double".😳 I bought mine(about 7 yrs ago) for about $120, now they're Over $200, on Amazon. 😲 Unfortunately, I can't afford that.😞 Bidenomics I guess.😒
Love the tear away belt
I like the bag, but it needs the two top small zipper pouches the rush 24/72 has, and the administrator compartment too.

7:10 after checking that the key weren't at the key keeper .. directly checking the trouser pocket ..hehe nice 👍🏼
Very nice pack!

Happy that I scored 2 rush72 bags long before they got expensive and way,way before Covid. Best bag but I wish the buckles were more heavy duty.
You sold me on it, just ordered. Right now it’s $160 for the Presidents Day sale. Love your videos. 🇺🇸
great review!!! great information and detail, thanks!
I've been looking into getting that bag as my edc/work bag 👍

Amazing in-depth review! Keep up the good work
Cool pack
Ty for sharing great looking item
Good review mate, and it is a nice pack/system!
excellent review of the 5,11 pack... how about a review of the SHOES you have on...

Looks like a great pack. Was a bit worried about the poison ivy though 😬
Doesn't affect me

No laptop compartment it's a hiking pack woods bag. Side pockets seem durable. Used on lots of other packs.
The 24L has a hydration sleeve that doubles as a laptop compartment 👍
I have only one question. Is the Torso length adjustable via the hip belt Velcro and is it a longer torso fit or shorter ? Thanks
It is not
How many liters is the backpack? I'd love to know..
36
Thanks, it's very nice.
Wich one do you prefer Rush 24 or Skyweight?
I feel they are very different packs. The Skyweight is more suited to hiking and the rush 24 is more of an assault pack
200 Еur. Crazy price for this backpack.
Will it fit an SBR?
Folding stock maybe
Who else tried to kill the fly that landed on his hand with their finger? Guilty
The 1st to see the video😊
Lots of poison ivy around you.
Poison Ivy should be the State plant of Ohio, it's friggin everywhere this time of year.
yeah luckily it doesn't effect me.
