There isn't really any surprise, but this just randomly brought to mind the question of "Is there actually a worse scene than CS:GO?"
OWL was and is trash, and Riot does what Riot does, but I don't think a scene has been more distasteful than CS, sadly.
Add another one to the list of times Rich was right, lads. It's getting to be a bit lengthy now.
It's the combination of intelligence with a spine, in a world where we;ve given up on expecting journalists to tell it how it is ,that makes Richards reporting so damn satisfying like verbal crack.

So glad that you highlighted the most important aspect of this saga: he gave sensitive information (presumably strats and anti-strats) of his current team to a rival. That is simply unforgiveable. Even if the opponent did not use that information in a material way, the act itself is irredeemable. How a competitive organisation (and importantly, the players) would want to be involved with someone so untrustworthy is beyond comprehension.
Totally agree with the G2 inclusion / Heroic exclusion for team of the year too. They used a "3 man core" metric, so why aren't Cloud9 or Liquid there instead? At least they went to the major.
I'll try and find a clip, but I'm sure when the Hunden AimLab report came out Spunj tried to talk about it on HLTV confirmed and Striker basically said they're not allowed to talk about it

Thank you Richard for continually exposing what a wretched, disgusting, manipulative scene we have that deserves to all be purged from the ground up. This all deserves to implode, what a sad pathetic farce this all is.
I wish I could be in the Astralis shareholders' meeting if someone actually brings up Richard's future article about how terrible Astralis is. You would hope they would at least be accountable to the shareholders, but Bobby Kotick and Blizzard show there is no accountability. The only thing you can count on is money and power.
Look, I am an Astralis fan since like 2017, but what is happening behind the scenes in this org is absolutely disgraceful. I will say tho that I will never support heroic, at least with current roster mainly because I care about the Astralis players that I have looked up to since I started watching CS:GO. As a fan, I can only hope that the people in charge, like Nikolaj Nyholm but im sure there are many others responsible for these schemes and bad moves overall, will be changed for the better image of the org. Richard, if you see this, please keep up the great content and don’t let these fuckers bring down the scene with their mischievous schemes and keep biting at them until they bleed out
