This is one of a number of videos they did during the Covid-19 lockdown with each member recording their part at home and then it was all edited together.

This was definitely during lock down. The each had to learn/figure out how do all the tech stuff for themselves
Love this version. Everyone’s talents are showcased here. If you want to hear Kevin and Matt really on point have a listen to New Rules X Are You That Somebody. It’s a mash up of two songs. I love the very beginning with just Matt and Kevin doing what they do so well. Great review.

When I first heard Pentatonix, I wasn't really sure how much I was into their music. But the more I listen, the more I enjoy their groove. This one clearly stands out as my favorite track of their's so far. Great suggestion Tundiel!
I've been hooked on PTX since the first time I heard them. Thanks Tundiel. You make some awesome suggestions. My type of music. Perfectly balanced voices coming together to make wonderful music. This video was made during the pandemic when they were all stuck at home. Mini studios were created in all their homes and they had to learn to record their own performances and send it to their pr oducer.

The thing that always gets me about these lockdown videos is how closely Kevin and Matt were able to work when they couldn't even be in the same room together.

Scott & Mitch have other things going on so it would be nice to see the other members highlighted more.
Kevin really shines in a lot of their live stuff, particularly when he has his solo spot. Matt really shines in 'You're a mean one, Mr Grinch', and along with Kirsten, knocks it out of the park in their recent Christmas cover of 'O Holy Night'. Kirsty herself has several songs where she leads.
I agree though, Scott and Mitch tend to have the most leads. It's nice when the others get a more prominent part.
Also, forgot to add that Kirsten and Kevin both have solo stuff on their channels 😊

Ollie loves the faster tracks, and not only loves Mitch, but has a bit of a crush on Kirsten if I'm not mistaken. He's joined a bit of a queue there, bless him. BTW, Kirsten recently married her long term partner.
As you figured out, this was filmed at all their individual homes. Apparently Mitch was moving, so he just put a random throw behind him 😂😂😂
I Rise is a bit of an anthem. I might get some flack for this, but as good as it is, it's not a favourite. It just didn't click for me.
