I love how this show didn’t take the lazy way out and lean heavy on Wolverine like other Xmen series have done.
The original did not either.
Let's be honest other than spiderman wolverine is the next best MARVEL character and the rest are chop liver. We need more of him to he honest
@@BushmasterHidk I love wolverine but we’ve definitely gotten an over abundance of him over the years. This show does a great job highlighting how great some of the other characters are and that you don’t always need wolverine front and center
@@BushmasterH well considering the show is doing exceptionally well without fixating on him, your opinion is pretty much BS.
Did the franchise from Fox Men really thrive with him hogging all that spotlight? NO. The fixation on him and 3 other characters drove the entire franchise to flop until the end. True X fans know how terrible the Fox Men movies were.
And not to mention that the original did not also lean heavily on him and was mega successful.
X-Evolution ran for 4 successful seasons and was exceptionally written without him as a forefront. What happens if you use the X title and focus on him? You get the X-Men anime and Wolverine and the X-Men which flopped and canceled after the first season.
The fact alone that they had to use this character for those shows showed how badly they assassinated these characters outside of him. And that it’s proven that as an X title, you need the entire team not just him.
Wolverine is a solo character. But in the truest essence of the X-Men, he is never the single star. Wake up.

Nightcrawler, magneto , scarlet witch are all much more interesting characters
I loved seeing Morph in action and turning into Quicksilver and trying to lay the smackdown on Trask.
Loving the way cameos are introduced in the show.
X-Men has always been woke (in the truest sense of the word) and I am here for it!
Need we remind Ross that she has the power of Carol Danvers AKA captain Marvel.

You know Jean Gray could have totally saved Trask after Rogue dropped him.😂😂
Morph was probably the only one of the group who didn’t agree with Rogue’s decision😂😂😂
And yet Morph could have easily saved Trask too
If you’re in a group and a member does something you totally didn’t expect, it probably would catch you off guard and you’ll freeze in disbelief so a second or two before reacting…or about the time a guy falls from a building. Nightcrawler could have saved Trask but he looked shook. Morph was stunned. The only person that was cool with Rogue going Rogue was Logan😅
@@agoodday4pi Rogue is hanging the man believed to be behind her boyfriends’ deaths.. how sudden could it be? Even if Jean didn’t think she’d do it she could have thought it on the realm of possibility and prepared herself to react.
@@majorlazor5058 Rogue is a good guy. Good guys normally don’t kill people, especially in cartoons. That’s why everybody was shocked when she dropped him….the team, the viewers, all of us.

John have you noticed the Man of Steel vibes the last 3 episodes? Genosha/Metropolis destruction, Storm flying/First Flight, and Rogue's fight looks like Faora vs the soldiers.
Most of this stuff is straight out of X-mens comics and came well before Man of Steel.

@@DelusionalNYC X-Men 97 creators have already said that Storm's flight scene was based off Superman's first flight in Man of Steel.

Solid episode. I'm still hoping we get SOMETHING from Wolverine though. The team getting blown up and then us first seeing Cyclops wake up, then Beast helping Jean and then finally Wolverine and Morph showing up made me sigh a bit. Wolverine should be the first one up all the time. He has the adamantium skeleton and healing factor! I don't want Wolverine to be the focus of the show like some of the other cartoons, but they are just going too far in the other direction with this season. Hopefully it will pay off in the finale.
With the two who are in charge of the sentinel program dead. I bet the government blame the mutants and a war may start. Will the Avengers be called to arrest the X-men .
I hate that they’ve been jumping around with the stories every week. Last week killed the momentum.
I wish we could separate today’s politics, and social causes from the movies. It’s probably not entirely possible….but I can still wish
You can't separate art from social commentary. Frankenstein was social commentary. Everything has to be about something. Even if it's just the good guys are better than the bad guys, that's taking a societal stance.
I agree. It's everywhere though, in music or TV or just on billboards. The problem is when you're hit over the head with it and it's in your face. The good ones are the type you don't see but only after reflection you can appreciate the deeper meanings behind those questions =)
But this show was written years ago.
