- Spring is here, maybe? Weather has been up and down, kinda damp, but not flooding, not overly dry. It is dry enough to chisel plow, so lets find all the lube points and get to turning dirt.

My dad told me that you always check the hydraulic oil with the tractor idling because the level will drop a bit. But none the less you have a very pretty t dub!
Might be worth changing that front hub oil again to prevent future issues : D
A quick hitch would be lovely for the old ford
Nice to see the TW. Btw Jacob and George(Saunders) and lord Muck inspired me …. to by a Ford 8100 4wd with some work on 🙂
With the TW in the video it will always be a good one
Nice video
Good video. It’s finally warmed back up so we’re back in the fields.
We're not dry enough yet. I tried yesterday, but the diff lock was my friend and had to be quick to lift the disk behind the 1086.
@@boehmfarm4276 oh ok, hopefully you guys can get going soon.
Our April started nice and warm and has ended cold and rainy. Hopefully your weather has been better!
Eh, it's Ohio we're never too far from a rain.
Looks like it's go time!
Good video.
Excellent
This front axle looks smaller than my one in tw-25. I have a ZF-apl365, and it has not problems with heavy pulling with big front weights. It pulls ripper, chicelplow, harrow etc. With 1000kg /2200lbs front weights and oil is always crystal clear. My ford is also tuned +200hp.
This is a 345. The first year of 25s got the small axle. 7710s got 345 axles too. Really would like the heavier axle, but so far so good watching the front weight. I didn't know about the axle differences until after we bought it.
That Ford looks nice But man you got to get a different sweatshirt lol
Tell me about it. Figured some viewer would have enough and fix it.
What happened to the 2+2
A more serious question, how do you deal with the coolant level on your Fords? Mine don't have overflow tanks so they always seem low after a few days of running them. This year I'm buying new caps so they get fresh spring pressure.
I have never had to add any to the tw in two years. If you're loosing antifreeze, I wonder if you have leaks or are overheating.
Time for a battery operated grease gun
We have one.
Wow, not only did it have power steering fluid in the reservoir, it wasn't the color of milk! You sure that's a Ford? 😁
Did U put new tires on TW?
Those are the tires it came with.
Hey Jacob just something that happened to a neighbor. He had a tw 10 that lost the oil pump twice and on his current tw 20 he had it go too. Just thought it would be something to be mindful of, maybe they fixed the problem on the late tws.
Hopefully. I haven't heard much of hydraulic problems on them.
Sorry Jacob, ment the engine oil pump.
Why didn’t they just use the tractors hydraulics for the brakes and power steering. I guess that’s why it’s blue and says Ford on it.
Risk mitigation. Local guy died a few years back because his Deere had the hydraulics quit on the road. No steering, no breaks, went down into a ravine. ☠️
Ford's better idea's for the 80s
@@boehmfarm4276 They aren't like the 86/88s where you still can steer it manually?
Its go time.
