Plowing the Camera

  • I kept the footage very raw to focus on all the sounds of the tractor and plow. Should be a very immersive experience without music or my random thoughts covering the action. I didn't plan on burying the camera and edited out the time it took to find it, but I dug it up in about five minutes.

We dont have to plant cover crops, They come up on there own ! LOL Anymore it seams like there is 2 ways to farm, Your ether all no-till or you work the ground and in our ground no-till is really not your friend ! Any time we get an inch rain fall guys are out a day or 2 later planting or harvesting and not leaving a wheel track, But we who work ground are waiting 3 or 4 days to get back on it to do more tillage or harvest a crop, Lots of compacted ground around us thats for sure ! Cold starting a Ford with a Simms pump: 1: Push throttle wide open 2: Push cold start button on the pump 3: Pull throttle back to a fast idle or half throttle 4: Crank . For really cold starting 5: Turn key in between on and start to activate intake heater (All Ford diesels have them) DO NOT USE EITHER!!! The heater is activated every time you crank it and could cause EXPLOSION!!! 6: Count to 10 or longer if colder 7: Crank As you crank return fuel is dripped on heater witch causes diesel smoke that works just as good as either.
With the above cold start aids and a block heater that Ford will start and go to work when them IH's are on a long winter's' nap.

You ever gonna back it out of the garage and use it ??
The cover crop , not work green chopping ffg or the cows before you chisel plowed it ??
That yellow contraption you drove past in the yard , did you get a bail processor ??
