yes indeed ........can often happen that the son that has an interest in farming is not the one that the father would prefer to farm ...............this relationship is strained from the onset ............makes life harder for both father and son ...............

That was funny. You two are a laugh. Not the easiest of gearboxes.
😂😂😂 never seen that before, opposite steering , haha, try reversing and with a trailer on the back, or even a forage harvester and a trailer, reversing back off the silage row, to drop the trailer , for a pick up... Yes, I know it's old school I am thinking of.... 🤔😂
I adapted an old Major so that the steering could be reversed very easily and used it as a 'challenge' at our local rally. Easy………. until you stopped thinking for a second - then you’d turn the wrong way! Lot of laughter and it proved a lot easier for the inexperienced drivers because they hadn’t got the natural ability!

George Saunders has the same issue with his TW 25 lol. It’s just awkward to rev match at times to catch the gear. 👍🙏👍
He don't because he knows how to use these boxes
carl, George will freely admit, plus he has made the point of hi lighting in some of his content, the occasions where the box ‘sings’ to him.

Nightmare when you get mixed up in the pipes for anything, replaced pipes on a loader for our David brown last year and still not sure how but got them mixed up so now up is down and down is up (vs what the decals say for example) only gets tricky when we stick on the platform we built for hedge cutting!

I love listening to the experienced guys farming, soooo knowledgable and enthusiastic about the stuff. Lol, spanner into the oil, not a good idea, like you say Nick, at least it won't rust 😂🤘. Massive tyres on the TW , what's the reason behind that?
Thanks for watching! We use the big terra tyres as it spreads the weight of the tractor so we can use it when conditions aren’t 100% in field, they are great and don’t leave a mark 👍👍
That under side of the ford looks a lot similar to my 9000. I think the tw is a series newer.
So I have one of these, my steering line also burst, my lines look way different under the front tho. I have these hollow hexagonal shaft extension tubes that bring the pivot out closer to the front of the tractor. And I'm excited that y'all mentioned ATF as well for the steering, because I'm searching online and finding stupid things people have recommended, even found one that recommended mineral oil 😂.
Upon further watching, I see that your tractor is 4wd. Mine is not. Explains the difference in location for my lines.

I use to drive a tw-25 easiest way to use these boxes is use clutch to start of and then just rev match to change gear no clutch.you get no crunch then

The old 7700 was the same gearbox always crunches lol 😂
actually it's a different gear pattern. second and third gear are swapped between a 7700 and a TW. They are both crunchy gearboxes.

Ever had a loader on it? Looking at one with a loader but looks a big old lump😂
Oh the agony🤣😢👎 that poor gear box. When was the last time that box oil was changed? And perhaps you should consider a different oil grade? A little more practice with double- clutching technique for the both of you. Love you both anyway🇬🇧✌️. 😷🇺🇸.

😂 😂 😂 don't think I've ever laughed so much at a vid! I was always double clutching in the mogs as the syncros were a bit naff! When I do my powers steering vid (spoiler alert!😂) you'll see why I wish I had a standard tractor 😂😣😢. The opposite steering is as bad as when I put the trac in reverse drive... gear are the same way but wrong 😂😣
