- Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions. When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.This series will feature a set of some classic songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed, mainly between the period 1945 - 1992, and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focused on old songs. Re programmed and arranged by musicians.

Dear Madam, a wonderful experience I made today with this village folk number. I thought no one is going to revive classics anymore, then you appeared like a Wizard, sprinkled some magic dust over me, and brought me to the memory lane of 1969, and so, there's no regret whatsoever. Musicians, video editing artist, were outstanding, a class above as always, all three singers, sank into their roles that required some 'character,' and brought it out so well, like some innate strength in their being is singing on high valour. I love it so much Mam, grateful for this treat, Thank GOD I am alive.'

Natarajan sir you have said as if raja sir spoiled the so called ' golden period ' of tamil film music. Folk songs of MSV sir mainly adopted from bengali folk songs this is the reason to which people of those times sought after hindi film songs. But after raja sir came he injected true tamil folk musical elements and combined with other innovations in orchestrations succeeded well. Nothing offensive about MSV sir bcoz he is the inspiration and mentor for raja sir. Please don't blame raja sir for all the bad..it is biased..

I am in tears literally.....what can I say msv and tkr...this film was probably one of the last films this magical duo worked together......this song purely inspired by s d Burman s melody......still msv converted it to his own melodic thought process......the touches he employs for the lyrics is incredible.....the balance and poise in using minimum instruments so that the incredible lyrics of kannadasan voices of tms seergazhi and PBS are felt to the fullest......i am visualizing in my mind how msv would have taught the tune to the 3 legends.........sheer golden period for music.....fantastic song selection by shubashree.....song was beautifully recreated by shyam venkat Selva siva raghav niranjan padmanabhan....thank u and God bless u all...
