2:26:49 they should watch Ravage on Prodigy for how a helicopter pilot should fly. The dude is wild, and he stays low and right above the chase so that you can see when he's in the chase and when he's not
Def made for great content
Yeah when I seen Ravage call someone out for using the Heli as a UAV. I was like, finally, a server that gets it. I've never been a fan of Heli's being used for pursuit because there's just not enough cover to justify it, but Ravage flying it the way he does took its OP'ness away drastically and it was exciting to watch. Did they do away with the locking feature in prodigy yet?
Eli/Ellum catching strays when he’s not even here AND on his birthday is so funny to me idk why 😭
Episodes I'm waiting on:
* Political RP - Max and Siobhan and the council
* Law/ Court RP - the lawyers and judges (with Ramee too since he had one hell of a lawyer arc before it went to hell lol.)
* Business RP
* Civ RP
* Relationship RP
* Wildcards - like James Randal, Burn, Chatterbox...
Also...
* The Company - Benji, Blau, Ray, and OTT, maybe even Brekkers
* CG - K, Ramee, Vinny
* The Dons of Lang's Crew - Buddha (but we know he won't lol), Luci, Speedy, Harry, and Tony... maybe even Gigi.
* The Foozes - April, January, and March (who also plays August).
* The Clowns
Still want Women of NoPixel, and I'd love a Clowning Around episode with the Clowns. Loving all the episodes so far!
I love whippy, he's so chill
On the pod he looks like one of those memes of a dog or cat sitting like a human where it says "He's a polite boy"
@@secondeye1574 Omgoodness I can totally see it
House arrest or giving prisoners some sort of way to earn money/resources are good points. Hopefully, they implement.
Bingo, read my mind. Or like better buffs ykno? Somethin different.
They can farm lockpicks in prison and that task reduces time too
100% agreed. need rp opportunities even during ic punishments
@@cadneemountai2791yeah. This got nerfed already. So not worth it.
@@cadneemountai2791 Incoming nerf by crane will tackle that soon.
The best snitch bread crumb arc of 4.0 is that Eugene Zuckerberg and Jason Polam are the biggest gun dealers in all of Los Santos
LMAOOO you mean JAYZON POLAM
Esfand is always on the defensive, countering everything Crims says instead of just listening.
I don't like that he criticized other people's rp OOC too nowadays. Like bro don't be rp police too 😂
There are a lot of super nice people on NP but I feel like Whippy has to be one of the nicest.
About 2 hours ago i just saw someone get beat down on a foot chase like Whippy mentioned. Reason given they was they broke cuffs to many times. So much for Saabs SOPs
It wasn't till this podcast that I was finally able to place who arckon was in 3.0 cause I recognized his voice but didn't remember seeing him arrest/ interact with crims a lot 🤯. He was constantly piloting Air1
Silent is soo right about the decent and good player difference, like players like octo on cvpi would be scary and on cruisers will be not fair, and again on cornwood he needs all the advantage he can get 😂😂😂
Also balancing is like what yuno did with turner in the laundry where they decided yuno drives if only 2 cvpi were there and octo came when cruiser and more cops came
I saw Snow literally destroy a Taurus on chilliad today, no doors, no hood tumbling down the mountain, and the thing literally shrugged it off like it was nothing. It was better than a caracara on dirt roads and running 115 not even smoking with no repair.
Put that thing in a sweat like bones, suarez, or azizs hands against a stock local car and its gonna be RIP for any getaway that doesn't involve a swap or a crazy block.
@@uascott yup 100% and that too with 4+ cop cars and at low speed it is not even possible to get out , let alone without swaps and 4+ people in a car
@@uascott bones + taurus is impossible to get away from without a bike swap
Would be great to see Timmac on here. More experience than most on crim and cop side with a chill and down to earth personality.
I like Cornwood and think Esfand is good with RP but he suffers from Main Character Syndrome pretty often. In the K situation you have the captain of police and Mr. K working out a deal. There is no reason for Cornwood to interject so much. I think his intentions were good but it just makes it hard for others to RP around when he basically talks until he gets his way.
He got DAP'd for skipping chain of command before, which I think was them trying to tell him OOC you aren't the main character just because you are on a scene. Hopefully he learns from the K situation.
Half the PD hates him for that very reason. He sticks his nose where it doesn't belong.
@@MandoMTL I dont know if they hate him but if watched the K situation with no prior knowledge it seems like Cornwood is more the captain making decisions not Slacks. Just makes the situation awkward
Plus it's wild to have a victim come in to define the charges. It's why lawyers get conflicted if they're witness to something. There's a bias stopping them from looking at things objectively. If he only gives victim statement, then K can have his side of the story carry a bit more weight. Cornwood stepping in and saying well no, that's not exactly how it happened, shuts down any wiggle room
I agree he has main character syndrome, but I’m okay with it here because of how important it is for the PD to get this stuff right. Esfand was totally right, they need to set a good precedent of how to handle charges so that in the future it doesn’t cause a lot of confusion. If this exact scenario happened like 4 months in the future, I’d be much more disappointed in him.
Loved this podcast and being able to hear each others views while speaking to the other side about it. I know Blau tried to get Lord Kebun on, but I think if he could get him on a discussion like this, there would be a lot of ideas that he has for both cops and crims to make it less sweaty. Also if it occurred Friday, after he had another K-Town arc like he did while this podcast was going on. He literally created an entire server event on the fly, including anyone and everyone partially willing to get involved in the prison shenanigans.
If Mehdi was able to be included at the same time, they both have creative minds that can be impactful server wide.
The PD defending DNA is kinda wild... since touching something DOES NOT LEAVE DNA. The idiot who created the DNA system for NP PD does not actually understand how DNA works.
You should make that appeal to the admins and devs then, not the role players lmao. The Pd will do what it will with what it has
I'm on crim side here but I think there are some instances where DNA is found in scene like drool, hair and blood
@@TheOnlyWay2Go. it’s a roleplayer choice to engage with a mechanic.
but it should leave fingerprints right?
A modified video game system doesn't match real life? No way
Im not gonna lie, the longer esfand talks, the more i feel like he loses the point of his own argument/comment, i cant follow him for a bit lmao
He has ADD to the max.
1:08:30
the problem was he did not read the room. K was ready to tell a whole story which is why slacks was going to lower charges because there was going to be a guilty plea and plus it would close the loop on the judge shooting, ACTUAL RP, but Cornwood stopped it by saying let’s write everything up (like stop rp and finish the stacking) then go in there and negotiate it down.
Also at this point CG has ALWAYS been the beta testers which is one of the many reasons they are not doing a rat race for crim stuff because they know the first one there is always fucked or nerfed in one way or another.
So why try to use his case as the “new stepping stone” based on how 1 persons character wants to rp things? Yeah Cornwood had a revelation on how he wants to see people charged and processed etc (basically adding more time they are waiting in a cell/ interrogation room alone in silence) but why do it on the guy that’s about to give you rp, plead guilty, and is already aware he is about to spend 24 plus hours in jail?
There was a whole rp arc that would have derived from his kidnapping (Dark Tessa iykyk) but even the kidnapping got misconstrued into a robbery and into some extra charge of possession when K made it clear we had to disarm this guy cause he’s trigger happy the dude likes to shoot before anyone can do anything lets be real everyone knows this which is why people don't really rob the guy, It was the only way, and he “got dna on the gun” because he moved the gun further away from him… don’t even start on the gun in the glove box third person view cause even that was wild and still having the balls to be like yeah plus possession because we got his dna on it from when he moved it.
The problem was too many people were apart of his interrogation - the cadet that kept saying we have him we charge him; yay we got him; big w etc. That’s such a robot response like you want the guy in jail for 3 days because of…..... creating rp not grinding??? Too many cooks in the kitchen extended this and the weird vote on “do we charge him now or not do we even listen or do we send him up asap” to Cornwood walking away and pulling a sulking / sadge farming session which made slacks be like okay we are charging him for all of it then please come back or feel better etc.
It became too much trying to please the other officers and taking input from people who weren’t in there to close the case and get answers. Seems very 3.0.
Whippy always has such based takes that I never even consider lol. Very glad to see him on here!
I'm so glad Whippy made it out of the shed. Hes such a sweet guy, very much deserves good things.
This was a really good episode
They say they hate swaps but every time you make a turn there's another cop waiting to tag in. One cop crashes and 2 new cars enter the chase. Cops need to ok. 2 cars chasing 2 cars parallel and if those 4 can't get em they take the L cops will put 15 units on lampanady
Jail should make you better at crime somehow like IRL. Networking, learning. Saab's on to something, I think. Better prison RP. And Whippy should definitely beta test the PD as Croc. Shit'd be perfect with him being Dundee of all people.
I think with the stolen car dealership, Ssaab and Esfand may have heard about something that Ramee and K set up a few times in the first few weeks. Before it was nerfed, they were stealing high value cars, and renting/selling them at the rental shop and a couple other locations for like $500, and pitching it as a "luxury rental". A couple other groups ended up doing the same thing. With the current lockpicks, which are very pricy and don't unlock most vehicles, that's not as viable. But, yeah, for a number of the jobs you get stolen cars to work with.
Stolen car lot has been a CG staple for years.
The Larry Knox Law. Code dial a Senior Buns for food and grubber for materials. Ankle brace that set alarms to a certain radius. The prob is, there must be a dedicated house for this. Not everyone has a house. In the house there could be yugioh or tekken battle inhouse or via wifi. They could do sani on the beach.
There could be a massive laundry operation in prison where clothes can be farmed and sell to an NPC.
The MadDonglah & Officer Sheisty RP cut short 😢
50:19 imagine the rp closure that could have been had for Kantor and Jackson, or the out that could have been presented for the cop investigating the lawyer that K planted a gun on if slacks had just been a captain and pulled rank on cornwood
Yeah I get Slacks character is nice but sometimes he just needs to put his foot down. Cornwood and other PPOs overstepping him and telling what should be done is weird. Slacks had the right idea that having Mr K confess to previous crimes is a lot better RP than having a 2 hour argument between cops about procedure.
@@Steve_R418 yeah, but it makes sense in RP for the character too after everything that's come from the mayor stepping in not only to put someone else in charge, but to personally overturn cornwoods firing.
32:06 esfand says he had a second gun on him, but he didnt. it was in a locked storage box in the car. he power-gamed for the second gun, taking it from storage knowing Mr.K was 3rd person driving and couldnt see cornwood opening the storage and taking the gun from it. esfand power-games a bit for fun, but being disingenuous about the original placment of the second gun reaffirms that he knew it was wrong to do that.
He does this almost everyday on stream.
Most people meet an Esfand or two in their life. People who tell 100% demonstrably provable lies, so you would normally assume it's sarcasm or a joke, but then you find out that they are actually trying to get away with a lie. Lies so obvious that you cannot fathom that they think they can get away with. You begin to question yourself. This person is too nice, too dumb to be manipulative, too honest to gaslight. But they aren't gaslighting you, they lie so much that they actually believe the unbelievable obvious lie about themself. Because something in them has to protect their ego even when it's unprotectable to anyone with a brain. He lies about things you can just rewind the VOD to find out are lies but he sticks with it forever, even after he does a reaction to a clip of the thing that is him lying, he still sticks with the lie. I hate liars. I hate Esfand.
Don't let all the yapping fool you he is a w cop
How is this power gaming? People constantly take things out of trunks / glove boxes with no visible animation. He took the gun out decided it was a bad idea and put it back. It wasn't a big deal
@@Steve_R418because roleplay wise it doesn't make sense realistically, you'd have to take a key out and unlock the lockbox which a kidnapper would almost certainly notice. It's easy to RP out at the same time though, Cornwood could easily /me turns radio on and "oh I'm starving, I think I left some snacks in here"
Can you do a musicians in nopixel podcast that would be cool 👌
Theres genuinely some music that could be played on radio in real life and itd be cool to see what some of the palyers plans are for future music/wether or not they plan to relase real life music 🎉
Game needs side by sides - Can Am x3's, Yamaha YXZ's, and Polaris Razer's. That would be a great middle ground in the vehicle debate because they are very offroad capable, have great acceleration, but their top speed is fairly limited / my X3 turbo RR i have irl only hits 98mph. And they look badass as a vehicle. There are 2 and 4 seat models too so there is a lot of variety.
Loving these pods! Any chance Lozdog (Lilith Fulker) and Skatebeard (Scotty Bard) could be guests sometime? Keep up the great content regardless (:
I think Esfand is one of the most funny cops on the server, and the thing saab did at the end was so funny 🤣
Yo we need a DOJ podcast with Crane and cornwood
saab has the perfect cop voice I swear
Should just having robbing a cop as an umbrella charge during the scenario and raise fine to 50k and the Criminal possession when its not during the scenario. If the criminal gets way and gets caught later with gun you charge the criminal possession but if you catch him during the robbery you only charge the robbing a cop instead of stacking 2 days of charges because you have to somewhat need to touch the weapon during the robbery. Can also lower the possession charge and robbery charge atleast by half for fine and maybe 3/4 for time since there are other guns in the server and you don't need to rob a cop.
They talk about car balance issue with cop vs crim and I am just sitting here thinking this can literally all be fixed in RP can it not??? Why do they not have "interceptor/highway patrol" units and then have "traffic/city patrol units".
Literally all they need to do is have bikes and low end cars that serve to initiate and hold onto pursuits with assistance of air 1 so when they do find a extremely fast vehicle they can keep eyes until a nearby interceptor unit arrives.
Keep interceptors patrolling on highways and roads that allow for extremely high speed pursuits and don't have them doing standard traffic stops. they can initiate stops and stuff but they need to pass off the pursuit to other units and take the interceptor to other areas of the city where they actually needed.
They can even improve other chase mechanics. make spike strips bigger and faster to deploy so there is more incentive to parallel chases and end pursuits through skill. implement a unit for the "bad" drivers of the force that will ride around in heavy units or bikes with barriers that can be placed quickly to create very quick roadblocks to funnel crims into where you want them. There is so much more that can be done with other mechanics and RP to make pursuits more varied, interesting and balanced.
They are overcomplicating this by trying to adjust game mechanics and this is taking away from development time for other systems when they can literally fix this through RP or easier to implement systems
Can you imagine the kind of fun RP you would get if you made it so crims in fast cars would have to decide between getting on the highway where they strong but in turn they driving into where interceptors patrolling all the time OR they can try lose people in city but never have benefit of their top speed and in turn they have to contend with more spike strips/roadblocks and air 1 OR they can try go off road and then maybe have to deal with 4x4 units or something that tends to patrol off road.
So many opportunities to give cop rp variety here and make things harder for crims without directly nerfing vehicles they enjoy driving. Yes all this is difficult while the PD is small but you think people wont play cop when there is so much variety to what they can do? Lower the barrier for entry. Weed out problematic people in academy. assign people to units that need numbers most. people who perform well in a unit progress within pd and people who dont do well will still have so many other ways to RP towards success within PD. you cant make everyone try do everything and have them be good at it. bring in numbers and give them specific tasks to get good at and add on over time. idk why it is so hard for PD to get it's shit together and why they think it is necessary to develop game mechanics to find balance just because they don't have any organizational skills
In groups that require large numbers to be effective, quality is built over time not found at the beginning. That was the mistake this PD made and I see made in so many other games that have large groups of people like MMO guilds. If you want to be effective it needs to be taught not expected from the point of recruitment.
W Comment. The only issue I see with that is everyone wants to drive interceptors but highway patrol is kinda a non starter because of how the city works.
PD thinks 10 cadets on duty making 300 an hour processing crims is going to crash the PD budget. Ain't no way they're going to implement all this?
@@studioCAA umm idk where you got that from but you are misinformed. cops are paid from fines and state. pd budget is derived from police donations.
they also don't need a lot of $$ to implement this since they already have enough vehicles in the force to do stuff like this. Just make the people who own really good vehicles have to get a interceptor cert for it or they required to sell it to a different officer who can pass a test.
they could use 1 more off road vehicle like Beric has but again have a cert and utilise the people that already own vehicles.
the only thing they don't have at the moment is air 1 and they could buy it tomorrow if everyone in the PD decided to chip in the $50k+ they all sitting on. Most officers just sitting on $100k+ waiting for vehicle restock.
You clearly don't understand how the chase work in Nopixel currently:
1. There's no PD budget yet in 4.0 and no Air1. Cops have to rely on paycheck+ percentage of the fines they process from crims which very little and cannot cover car repair cost.
2. Cops CVPI suck ass and can't keep up with the chase, they got VCB in seconds before interceptors arrives. There're roughly 4-5 fast interceptors, enough for 1 chase and boxing. Also there're only1-2 motorbikes currently.
4. People are not going to let cops stopping them from their illegal money run so they run away every time and it's always end up in a chase. PD doesn't have enough man power for multiple chases. This is RP not real life.
3. How the chase work is that: It takes at least 3-4 cop cars to catch 1 crim car, not 1v1 like you imagine. In order to catch a crims car, cop need to be smart and neutralize the crim car via boxing. Once crim car is boxed the crims have already called their friends who are waiting to pick them up and would lead to another car chase(It's the car swap meta). Therefore using spike isn't worth it since it's a double edge sword. They will risk spiking their own cop car as well just for 1 crims car, the crims can just get out and do the car swap anyway.
4. Cops cannot use guns unless they're being attacked. if they want to catch crims, they have to issue warnings then go for non-lethal(tackle, stun guns). Crims are much easier since they can just whip out guns, hold the cops by gun point thus cops have to hand up and complies to what crims do to them. This is why lots of crims target new recruit cops who're just doing patrol work, point gun in their head, rob the shit out of them and move on to the next.
@@pacu1405 you clearly feel Cops should be “winning” aka catching the majority of criminals they chase which is just a flat out misunderstanding of the cop’s role on the server.
When i heard Saab talk about people would shot Air 1 gave me flashbacks to Tony Corleone being very tilted with Air 1 and killed the pilot and co pilot then shot down by the Cops
Bro, imagine if Ramee was on this podcast my god, it would be 12 hours long
@2:14:18 mehdi has been talking about a similar idea, you could go use your buttcoin to rent a 6 seater car for the day/week that is fast for a job
I saw K trying to drive a car with 3 people in it and it wouldn't turn at all. The meta will be multiple cars unless that's fixed.
There's nothing saying you can't use your personal for races etc... the VAF points can only be applied to Violent Felony charges
Prio needs adjusted some I feel, lot of the bigger crim groups would spread the craziness from wave II across the others. Feel some med-large viewer based variety streamers who only get on 2-3 days then off for over a week should be limited. They're not bringing in people on that limited time schedule. An example for a change is a crim getting prio from one dev and taken a day later from another, and one of his mates did as well. That limits crews from growing across all times and cuts entertaining RP. People get invested in constant suspense, not sporadic catch-up convos.
The part that is crazy is that the hot gun with 5 bodies on it was barely any time and all the time & fine just came from kidnapping a cop.
I agree kidnapping a cop should be a big charge but why is it more then attempting to kill 5 people.
Also why charge robbery + possession. Feels like stacking I dont get why cornwood/esfand called a cop to add that charge. He's thinks he was helping by putting everything on the table first and I get that, but slacks wasnt even gonna charge mr K with it at all and was gonna remove other things. Instead now hes getting charged with possession and being told "we will remove it though dont worry :)"
Kidnapping a cop was a *much* smaller sentence and fine than robbery and possession. That's what he *should* have been charged with, instead of robbery or possession (certainly not both), as that's what the entire thing should have been about. Kidnapping in NoPixel has traditionally includes disarming the victim in its umbrella, because if you don't disarm your victim, you aren't valuing your life, which is a big cornerstone of the legal system. Disarming someone is not robbery or possession. They threw in those charges because they were heavier charges and with extreme fines. The possession of a pd gun was a $100k fine. The "robbery" was something like $30k. In total, he received a hit of $154k to his bank account, while if he wasn't hit with the charges he shouldn't have been charged with, it would have been $20-30k. In addition, he received the equivalent of 280 NoPixel years sentence, while he would have only gotten something like 20. The next day, cops were giddy and laughing about how much they raked in on the charges.
I don’t know if anyone attached to this reads these comments but if you want to fix the PD issues you can do 1 think to get things under control so you can fix the issues. You need a chain of command to identify a lead officer and all other officers gives input to that officer but he is in charge of getting all the info together to press charges. Sometimes the lead goes to the arresting officer but in cases where multiple streamers are on sight and they all want content you need a higher up in the department on duty in the building to say who came in high profile. This is who is taking lead everyone else talks to that officer and he is the only one who presents charges to the arrested individual and lawyers. That way no one but that person deals with the situation and if they screw up that is a arc to explore as well. Someone investigate the screw up determined if it’s just a mistake or negligence or even a dirty cop. Internal investigations department.
question, don't call me dumb becuase it's probably been proposed before. but why not allow mp.4 personal police bodycam footage into the mdt documents therefore cutting down a lot of whats needed to be typed from the officer and they can rewatch it and mainly focus about the meticulous prosecutorial details? "Police Body Camera Footage" and if civs want to submit it it'd be "goPro or Self Recorded Video"
It would make court cases completely pointless. That's the reason
Please feature THE CLOWNS
I love Blau's hot takes for always being so much safer than he thinks. They're good takes! But not that controversial. I understand his approach tho
Also I think for K pov at first he didn't have that much charges but when they came back it triples lol. Also i know PD is still figuring things out but at least take accountability for your mistakes and same for crims too. Also I agree what whippy said. For example when cop spam tase or tackle.....like bruh let them run.
We need Buddha and X but i cant see X doing it. It could be short podcast incuding devs talking about th e development and future of Nopixel.
Really feels like esfand is blind to why kebun was annoyed. The injustice was stacking possession on top of the robbery. Should only have been the robbery or the possession. I think that would have been fine. But essentially charging him twice for the same crime is the problem. Add to that the seeming escalation of charges shuts down the roleplay and it is particularly disappointing considering what esfand was preaching on cornwood only a week ago as a lawyer. He became the evil he tried to stop.
Even then k should have not been charged with either of these 2 charges. He did not rob cornwood or have possession of cornwoods stuff. He simply wanted to disarm corwood (who BTW is known to be trigger happy) and places his stuff in the squad glovebox. This is neither robbery nor possession of government issues firearms imo
Its only good RP when it's good for his chracter. There should be a week where crimes switch positions with cops to see how hard crime life is in this copixel server.
@@brjoseph4032 yeah that right there is the problem he has absolutely no idea just how difficult being a criminal in the city is. It’s why so much of the server is usually catered to them except seemingly in 4.0
why do people not understand he wasnt trying to stack charges? He was wanting them to have the list of charges prior to even talking with K and working out a deal with him. Instead they did it backwards.
@simplyjeremiahh but there was no need to create the bs list of charges when they were not even considering those charges to begin with. Cornwoods whole shpeal of "I want him to see what we COULD have charged him with so he can see that we are giving him a deal" is just that...bs. even that 1 time it "worked" it didn't. The crim came out feeling like sht after 4 lawyers kept telling him to just take the plea.
Eli used to measure crim skill is so funny :D
After that first question I feel like players ability to read the room is rough on Nopixel and I agree with Silent that cops play such an important role in being able to do that. Some of my favorite times where I thought that was actually strong was after the 3.0 restructure where everyone got fired and the very first few days of 4.0 both of which it then started to fall apart after server felt they needed more PD presence. Such a great topic.
Cornwood’s streamer did seem like he never really thought about the other side much during the excitement but only after during charging. What’s even more interesting about that is now that K blames Cornwood and threatened Cornwood it kinda gives Esfand an ability to play into those aspects of his character. Kebun really is an incredible roleplayer not just for him being him and creative but for this ability to bring the best out of people roleplaying with him. Ssaab I feel similar about in his abilities. The server has such awesome figures I know it’ll be okay.
Many of the issues stem from the server being rushed and underdeveloped.
Also Great Advice from Blau at 49:00 , I was told once …literally tens of thousands of laws exist and you as an individual do not know them all and at one point in your life you probably broke one. Cops are trying to get the easiest path to them being successful as possible and often times when they get a confession they are rewarded. Never talk to cops without representation
Agree 💯 with rushed and underdeveloped.
I think Koil decided it was more important to him to destroy ONXs release than to put out a complete product.
Updates and new releases of different things are moving GLACIALLY SLOW with how big the "full-time" dev team is supposed to be for NP. Koil tossed a few comments at Prodigy for using pre-built mechanics and mods for their city, but that shit ran smooth and had very limited problems and was pushing massive new changes every month-ish.
It's been 4 months and the apartment elevators still work maybe 25% of the time.
The a1 spotlight being server side in 4.0 is going to be visually cool, but inb4 the light itself makes people's heads pop when it shines on their character.
They should have also been developing the PD training OOC before the reset so that they had a better base to build off. The PD not having enough officers has BOTTLE-NECKED the crim progression to the point that its now affecting the regular civs because crims are bored of being able to do nothing but grind since the new heist shit can't get rolled out until the PD is able to handle it
imagine yuno on the podcast
1:30:14 This has been happening on the NoPixel blue server and I wish someone within that PD would punish that behaviour of going around to every single crim spot, sitting at hand-offs and whatnot. It's eased up over the past few days but now the culture of an extremely aggressive PD with power tripping cops has set in regardless of what the facts of the matter is. I can't speak for Green, but Blues moral is dipping fast and it seems like pretty soon they're going to lose their only 2 Lawyers, basically killing an entire section of RP
thats called a steak out, people want PD to not be ping chasers but also get angry when PD sets up. You guys want NPC cops.
I completely disagree with Whippy. Saying something like "Cornwood is a shit cop" is not the same as saying "Esfand is a shit person". I think its perfectly fine to have characters you don't like in a story. We as viewers have to remember that streamers are only playing a character, but the streamers also have to remember that and not take things too personal. Look at how fast Whippy is to call chat dumb, which is actually fine btw lol, but to expect people in chat to not have that same sort of energy is kinda crazy.
How the hell you get that when whippy is one the ones pushing for people playing characters......you missed a beat mate
@@rossw4450 um, I think YOU "missed a beat" on my comment. Not sure how what you said has anything to do with my comment. You might want to read it again a little slower.... Yes, I understand that Whippy is a good RP'er and encourages other people to focus on RP. But, it's ok for people to not like a character that the streamer created or a decision that the character made. Viewers are constantly reminded that the streamer is NOT the character and that its only acting, but then the streamer takes criticism of the character personal which would suggest that the character maybe isn't as separate from the player as they would have you believe. And I used the example of Whippy calling chat dumb to point out how it's ok to call chat dumb but chat for some reason can't call a character dumb. It's a bit hypocritical. I'm not sure why streamers should be treated with reverence just because they are streamers but it's ok for them to shit on chat.
I honestly believe arckon/beric becoming the best Chief is one of the best things for pd. Idk if he enjoys it or not, but he knocks it out of park in that role.
Blau trying to defend his chat when whippy said fuck chat Lmaoo. And another thing. Esfand is right when saying if the evidence is there and you want people to play dumb because a streamer did a lazy job is stupid! That’s what Mickey made OTT do, lang was lazy and ocean dumped him and now ott is salty at the company because mickey wants to keep playing dumb as fuck with 1 thing and then he’s smart hackermans the next. If someone is lazy in there work, why go the extra mile to play a certain way
The reality is that making punishments for crime so steep makes crims not want to rp with cops. And if you want crims to spend several days in prison, the devs and admins should make prison rp more engaging with more features. I understand wanting to make the rp realistic with realistic stakes, but then that makes fun, sbs scenarios happen less often and force crims to tryhard. It's a rp server after all, not a pvp server.
the specific examples are always about mr k cuz hes the best rper
Love that you guys have a pod!
Mr K Should be here to defend himself this feels so one sided unfortunately.
I can understand why K said no and Ramee pulled out. The optic would have been that they were doing nothing but complaining and crying because they had to take the L. Kebun notoriously stays out of things like this and will leave these things to Shotz or Rameee. Blau may be able to get CG on as a group later, but so quick after any criticisms they might have made would have opened them up to getting bans for "bad-mouthing" the server
@@uascott damn yeah I can see the optics argument. Glad they got the invitation. It sucks they can’t just have a conversation, I feel like it would be very healthy for everything.
I think 4.0 has too much scuff though. Like they release it too early to compete with servers
They're so far ahead of every other server they don't have competition
@@HH-le1vi but they do have competition? How many other servers do you watch?
@@lovebags5139 Prodigy and ONX might be competition in the traditional sense but not quite reality. No other server has as much as NoPixel does in every facet.
I think they released it early because of the Rockstar gifted sub collab event
@@yololoyo7379Plus the easiest way to find things to fix is by actually opening it up and letting people play, they catch so many bugs they would not be able to catch just by testing it themselves.
1:06:10 the only thing that would make this idea more incredible is if they could code it in a way that they had an actual curfew, where they could go to mosleys or the courthouse during the day but be in the boundaries of their home at night
Poor Eli was catching strays 😂😂
Esfand literally cannot admit when’s he’s in the wrong lol. He should have never been allowed in that interrogation room considering how close he was to that scene and to not understand why Kebun was pissed is hilarious
Why do Blau's eyebrows look drawn on here? So thick, so pronounced. 😮
@2:02:30 going back for the bois talk, all i can think of is yuno. This man will not be saving a nobody and others should do the same. Your doing crime and it should be every man for themselves unless its your main group membe who has everything to lose like locked in for nines, 150k fines ec if caught. .
I remember 3.0 Yuno taking the charge for Langs gun in his boat and getting interrogated by Wrangler lol cause he rather get caught and take a hit for lang but other times you gotta get out on your own
@@antidave yeah because Lang is the main crew who he will live or die for, not just a random nobody bring for a 1 off job
I mean if k is in house arrest then entire city will burn except that house ❤❤😂😂😂😂
Yo, I understand giving Mr.K praise for the content machine he is, but giving Silent a question like "hey, this guest is not here so imagine you are him and RPing like him (which is the opposite "more spicy" way of how you are RPing), and tell us how you'd feel in his shoes"... I'm sure he didn't mind, but from a listener POV it felt a bit grating. IMO it's better to tailor questions to guests who *are* there and their experiences rather than pushing a certain question even if it's a good one
In that questions defense Ramee was suppose to be the guest I believe with Silent being a late addition .I agree you couldn’t get two people on the server playing Crim farther apart than Silent and Lord Kebun so probably shouldn’t have been asked but that’s likely the reasoning. It’s hard to plan all this shit.
@@VinegarAndSaltedFriesoh, I get it completely, but I’m sure Blau is capable of improvising on the spot, it’s an RP podcast after all. Just my two cents cause I’m hoping this podcast will grow and get even better and I felt a bit bad for Silent cause he didn’t know how to answer
Yah. That’s why k and ramee dont want to be in a podcast because of how toxic app chats sometimes and it will just creates drama bait clip from reddits
Nothing will be done in favour of crime side as long as HuCrane is in power and cg dev Koil is not around.
Esfand quoting they don't being treated like an NPC, But when you act like an NPC, People are going to treat you like an NPC (Reading the Room) which I feel Esfand seems fail at doing so much. So cops are allowed to make mistakes so if a charge is missed it happens roll with it.
On the Mr K situation, the only flaw was hashing out the charges in front of him, that's what made him think he would get a lesser charge
Yes, but also a possession charge based only on DNA is harsh, especially when Cornwood established he put his gun and radio on the ground for K to pick up and put in the car. People in the server (Abigail) don’t even get a possession charge when they are found with a PD gun on their body without exonerating evidence
Personally I think shooting people in the back running away …pretty freaking lame.
@@ramyswamy I did see a convo last night where an officer said he would be pushing the charge on Abigail according to the letter of the law and let the court decide guilt.
the PDs biggest mistakes in this whole scandal was Ruth getting told by yaeger that Mr K (dead on the ground) had a gun on him and then allowing yaeger to speed off on his bike after shooting K, then later refusing to investigate mary or yaeger because they Ruth is biased loving mary and biased disliking K
@@VinegarAndSaltedFries Now, they can hit you with a baton if you try to help a cuffed friend to escape . Also, they get to shoot with their guns after 30 seconds of foot running if you have a warrant , no tazer or anything thanks to daddy Crane.
I like rat strats if you call jumps and stuff like ramping of walls ratting. I'm not crazy about car swapping, and I hate motorcycles.
Good podcast! Thank you.
But sometimes cops have 3 or 4 cruisers that has top speed and acceleration of a super car
If you like the rat strats, watch a Bobby Porter stream if you ever get the chance. The dude is absolutely disgusting in vinewood and the fudge lane hospital area
They should address the cops shooting suspects in the back that are not currently even holding a gun. Cops in the U.S. don't shoot people in the back even unless they have a gun pointed at them.
Cops have shit plenty unarmed people in the U.S

and they were not someone running away in the back. That hardly ever happens its just when it does its all over the news so it feels like it happens all the time.
And cops get fired for it.
Do work in prison -> Get time of for good behavior
Great conversation, however i think sometimes the cops push things a little too far. A good example is K got chased with no warrant for joyriding in a lampadaddy, he had 3 chargers some with turbos, two CVPI's and a motorcycle throwing spikes. You would have thought the man killed the president. That imo is too aggressive for a traffic stop. I feel like chasing could be more balanced.
Personally, I'd love to be a prosecuting attorney on NP. Going after crims, not with gotchas, but with legit and unyielding detective work.
1:10:12 this wasn't the moment to make that change... that's why slacks/saab was supposed to be the arresting officer pushing the charge because he understands that Mr. K/KEBUN understands this is a special situation he's receiving because of RP
Yeah I’ll be honest I’m not sure why Cop role-players don’t use case by case basis in terms of charges. Like obviously the cops don’t know what’s going on but if a criminal asks for a lawyer clearly they want lawyers to haggle and knock down charges…that would make the Cornwood method make sense. But if a criminal doesn’t want a lawyer cops should just charge criminals with what they believe they can prove with 100% certainty, because even if then the crim gets a lawyer after the fact the laws are written in that vague way that makes it capable to be fought.
They can use officer discretion in terms of arresting someone but can’t seem to do it when charging someone it makes zero sense.
Esfands takes are very cringe in this, holy hell

They stuck K in a no-RP cage and he still pulled 3x more viewers than the best of them. lol. I hope they learned something.
Their goal isn't to stop RP so they don't have to learn anything.
of course esfand let the role play play out, he didn't shoot them with his second gun, he knew what the right thing was to do regarding the charges, the crims should have just bounced when they saw the EMTs, Esfand sees things from both sides, he's super consistent, hes such a good person he does things in good faith
I hate channels that rip your content on put it theirs
Ssaab blew the roleplay in the interrogation room. It was brutal. But the worse part was the cops shooting k. Him getting away with cornwood and unlocking the RP with Tessa was a couple weeks in the making and was going to be so fun. Its too had it got ruined because of some try hard shooting mr K and not letting the story play out.
this was surprisingly a really good talk. house arrest or giving the crims the ability to make money in jail would really help a lot imo
Screw K over twice after lies and scuff. Id personally leave the server again. The fact half the server joins him in prison proves that point. Just like when CG left for prodigy. You lose half the server. They all follow. Dev's have f'd up screwing K. He can litterally wipe your server and income again 😅 And its your own fault for being dumb
Esfand its abit insulting saying you can get DNA off a gun found in water! That's just stupid bro
IRL it's true, DNA depending on material can be found from 6 hour up to 5 day after water exposure
@@Got3898 An other feature in favour of cops with no counterplay for crimes. Seems balanced tbh especially when DNA dissapears after whole 30 days and its easy to get the permission from HuCrane in this copixel server.
@@Got3898 Depending on the water source, sure. If it's in a river, it's likely going to be contaminated from numerous sources of other DNA, and let's not forget K was swimming for a minute in that same river. Regardless, he admitted to picking up the gun off the ground and putting it in the car. That's not where the problem is. K admitted to disarming him. Disarming someone isn't robbery or possession, and it certainly isn't BOTH. Stacking charges like that is pretty dirtbag behavior in a game of cops vs robbers, and essentially set back K 2-3 weeks of time and income on his character. All because he wanted to have a fun RP session with Cornwood.
@Malovane77 in this scenario all parties was in fault MR.K for sloppy kidnapping,Slack for jumping on gun on pressing charges, Cornwood for discussing charges in front of K ,K for not RP in the end and simply accepting charges all parties wanted to RP K want to RP kidnapping for Tessa , Cornwood for trying being fair in process It's unfortunate that 3 stubborn character in one room unable lessoning to each other and read room
@@Got3898 not all parties wanted to rp, there was 3 opinions : one of them was to just press charges why are we even talking with him if we already have cocnrete evidence ? Also, you can't say they want to rp kidnapping for tessa because they don't know that unless they metagame it. Mr K kidnapping wasn't sloppy , it was actualy more rp than whole pd, he could've just killed him at the spot and flee with his own car but he wanted to extend cornwood rp. If anything , it's 0.4 nopixel scuffed sign out method in paleto that caused this. Otherwise, that would've been great rp where Tessa will interact with cornwood and ask why he did what he did. Ofc, cops won't understand this because they are too afraid to get daped to the point they can't naturally rp, rather their rp is stuck to the letter of the law which ironically most of them don't follow when it's against them.
