      The only point I felt the crims struggled to convey is the very high risk they run for very small reward. Take jewlery runs. You're forced to go there with a gun, guns are expensive and somewhat rare, so usually they are fairly hot. It automatically triggers a massive PD response because shots fired and gta. You make maybe 30k, but risk 300 months and a 40-50k fine (like what happened to Ramee the other day). That's why it looks like the crims are trying way to hard, given the call, but in essence they have to because of the massive consequences.

    • @Chriswastaken123
      @Chriswastaken123 Před měsícem +3

      @@flatnicable yeah and then cops will get frustrated with guys trying to save the guy with the gun on him, but what is their choice there? Lose a rare gun plus more money than any crim job is worth or risk getting batoned for essentially a slap on the wrist if it fails. The jewelry runs are way too hot and I'm glad they moved away from those being required for petty crimes like roof running.

    I really miss the house robberies from 3.0. Robbing the npc houses was a great way for solo and minor crims to get a little money and the rp with the cops from them was great.
    They need a way to separate the player houses from the house robbery cue and have some npc houses furnished and robbable.

    Need a civilian "HQ" app, so the jobs actually have cooldown etc, and they can work up to it, same as crims on their jobs, so its actually a major loss if they get robbed, it creates autonomous heists not just NPC stuff.

    • @elementneon
      @elementneon Před měsícem +9

      They have that, used exactly as you described. The Jobs Center app lists the jobs for civs, each with their own rep system. And with G6 the best jobs, for example the $2500 per person Tier 3 Vault Run, are on a 3 hour cooldown, which limits the person to 3 runs max per tsunami. We watched Sykkuno, who plays Yuno on RP, grind G6 all day every day for about 3 weeks just to earn the right to run Tier 3 jobs. So it is roughly the same on both sides.

  • @rjwhite00
    @rjwhite00 Před měsícem +19

    If they add the black market car rental. It should be you rent it for anywhere between 1 hour and 4 hours with varied cost without it being flagged and work like a vin scratch but there would be a countdown and once it hits zero a stolen car ping goes off and a tracker pops up for cops so it makes the crim want to ditch the car. Can also setup something for a higher pay tow truck, where they get a job to pickup the car and it pays them like 2k.

    • @Chriswastaken123
      @Chriswastaken123 Před měsícem +2

      Yeah the auto flagged stolen local cars is so unnecessary. I've seen cops use that to also find crims they can't even see because they know you're on a bike in a bush nearby because it flags the vehicle being in the area. That and crims being chased like it's a murder charge over fleeing a traffic stop that only happened from a cop driving past the stolen car before the crims even committed another crime just kind of stalls the RP out.

    I really like the idea of 4 people tier 3 g6 having guns and radio to be more secure. Like maybe the guns wouldn’t have actually bullets but metal bullet to where it’s scares the robbers a bit. It would’ve been nice if he had syk on here as well, bro really made g6 rangers protecting g6 workers! And he was spreading that around for a bit and they didn’t get robbed as much! Also like the idea of tier 3 chase. They did that when g6 workers got a raise. Like they had someone at the wheels at all time and if someone came by they would just drive off.
    Allsoo to go off on the scuff of the game mechanics, peanut said they would get stuck under the car. I think it’s the part of where the police has to play it off so it won’t be awkward(which gives them a change to get back up) like say put your hands up. Or say you’re under arrest Blah blah blah. And if they run off then there goes that chase again.
    I’ve been loving different groups talks. Give such a big insight.

    Cops should see swap and bike metas as an indication of the current crim car meta. Plenty of crims will attempt to drive out of a chase if they think its possible. If the cars suck too much they will do swaps.

    Need Ramee and K on the podcast, but I know they've said that they likely wouldn't do it because they have such strong opinions on stuff about the server.
    It'd be hard for them to go on there and be entirely honest because they both feel like there's a lot that needs to be fixed on the server. Even Client (who rolls with K and Ramee in-game) said a LOT of stuff, and I'm sure he still tried not to say too much since he doesn't want to stir up too much.
    I feel like the best case scenario would be to maybe have a day where it's only the four people of: Blau, Ssaab, Ramee, and Kebun and no one else. Even then, I feel like Ramee and K would still feel like they have to tone down some of their opinions, which is unfortunate.

  • @VinegarAndSaltedFries
    @VinegarAndSaltedFries Před měsícem +1

    Being a criminal on Nopixel definitely isn’t “worth it” but then it is ….for some people. Many people just flat out can’t be great at crim rp because it really can be creativity draining. In that sense the content comes to Cop streamers far far more easily but within those boundaries cop roleplay can be more restricting in the kinds of things they can do because they are in that DM/GM role that can be very powerful in terms of effect on server and players.
    None of this to say people shouldn’t try to be either they absolutely should and honestly the community needs to be more welcoming to people trying who maybe don’t have experience with these kinds of things.
    For Saab’s idea I think a gun unlock for civ’s would be great I think having it have like a 5 round magazine without an ability to reload would be better. Because then 1 you don’t have the weird breaks after 1 day thing but 2 it also can’t be taken advantage of because you physically cannot get more ammo. And if it’s like a decent shotgun it’s even better. It would be a great way to introduce better guns into the server without needing to fully unlock stuff.
    Things like not caring about getting robbed is pretty infuriating because getting robbed and going right back to working another job will never not be strange to me. Like If I get robbed I’m driving out of my way to avoid that place.
    What I don’t really understand is equipment/cars being better than criminal’s. It just makes no sense to me because in the same way good criminals can and should get away and bad criminals should get caught good police should be feared and not as skilled ones shouldn’t be as much. When the force has a larger presence and ability to always have a larger presence it just doesn’t make sense to have them be so far off in terms of power level. That much of a power level difference where if you put a great crim driver in a pd car it’s nearly impossible to get away from it’s kind of a root cause of the meta shifts in getting away.
    Groups like The Besties and CG have definitely held back on shooting cops out of frustration when they have had the opportunity because of the state pd has been in but if the same mistakes by the same officers keep happening it will lead to that unfortunately

    "What would it take to stop swaps?" - Hard limits on cop chase #'s. As in none of this swapping in and out with parallels. Straight up. 4 cars per chase no more. 2/3 for the conga line primary to tertiary, and 1 parallel if they decided to run 2 on the conga line and 2 parallel then that's a field captain/searg's call. Then maybe crims will stop swapping.

      Cops treat units as interchangeable too. So you have 4 units. One crashes out? They just get a new 4th unit. Then the crashed out cop repairs and joins back in and is a 5th unit. Oh you escaped the cops? Random unrelated cops on the next corner sees you, starts chasing and calls it in. The old 5 units join and now you have 6 units.

    • @heretic9484
      @heretic9484 Před měsícem +2

      This is not possible. How can you expect a max of 4 units responding to CG having a stolen car? That's a 6 unit minimum. Warrant for evading? That's an automatic full PD force on scene.
      Now, you might think "Oh, officer involved shooting, those 77s are coming for scene control and medic". Wrong. They need those other units to check their turbos while the shot guy bleeds out.

    Civ jobs rep progression should give you access to new task like mini games or other roles and reduce their pay. Make crims have higher pay but higher risk jobs. Civs have 3 collect and drop off simulators that they grind for 8 hours a day which offers no content so just give them more content for less pay. Crims get paid less than civs for high risk so just give them more money for more risk.
    Everyone should be able to make money but at the end of the day the most skilled at jobs should always get more reward. No one would want to be better at something with no reward and right now crime doesnt pay and civ jobs have no eay to be better (skillwise)

      He knows it will fall on deaf ears. This stuff is nice in theory, but I've watched NP for 5+ years and two things are constant...1) This is a content server. 2) FOR THE MOST PART...bad players and bad RPer's play cop for the free prio, so in order to not make the server so one sided, NP gives all the poor cop players everything they need, for virtually free, and buff everything they have, to compensate their poor performance ability. You can be a cop fan and hate on this take, but it doesn't take away from the fact it is 100% true.
      Maybe your cop streamer is the exception (Ssaab, Esfand, SgtApollo, CazeyTV, RemdogG, etc...) but a LOT of them are either bad at mechanics or bad at RP. Very few are good at both, and that's what the server needs for the PD imo.

    🔥 HOT 🔥 Take: The devs and admins of nopixel 4.0 have hit the mark perfectly with balancing the number and size of the carrots they dangle out in front of each new player, spreading out the player base in the most ideal way for RP interactions across the city. Civilian by all rights should be the absolute MOST boring role to play in a game like this, and yet we have so many RPers opting into it, and even going so far as to be jealous of the people that get to run those boring jobs at times. That is immersion. That is bringing the IRL into the RP. That is the mark of a job well done.
