@@SG_Supremewhat? That's not how that works. It's the same resolution which outputs the exact same power needed to play the exact same switch games. Only difference is OLED is more power efficient to display the same image with better colors that won't wash out at certain angles

@@deathbydeviceable if it has to light more,l screen and more saturated pixels it will take longer. You also have to realize that each oled pixel has its own light while the lid is one backlight. It makes total sense why it takes longer, same resolution doesn't have anything to do with it.
Mate I watched the nintendo logo disappear on the oled, while it was already gone on the original. I have both and they boot up the exact same. If you want people to believe you, show us you actually turning it on.

They’re the same internally, the oled one’s just slightly bigger and has a better kickstand, OLED screen and smaller bezel (and an ethernet port on its dock)

Why does the new oled on fortnite lags less than than the old switch. I tested them side by side and saw a huge different. Obiviously with ps4 and ps5, fps increases from 60 to 120

the difference is too small to be significant
Does nobody here understand technology at all? Newer tech that has more functions than older tech will usually take longer to start up rather than the old tech that don’t have those to deal with… not only that but the only difference about these two consoles is the oled display. So probably because of that it takes a bit longer to start up. But that’s really shouldn’t effect anything.

Now is a good time to scoop up used 1st gen switches used. You might think when the switch 2 comes out then they will be cheaper but i think the price will go up as more people will have nintendo in there mind
Note: The 2017 model would probably still run for higher prices than the 2019 model thanks to modding capabilities
