most countries try to make the vest as small and compact as possible (see US for example), but for some reason ours covers the entire upper body. a majority of the area isnt even covered by the bullet plate, it's just wasted cloth, especially the sides.

Back in those days 1980’s we all used M16 just love it in my recruit days as I am from 41SAR, we went to Tekong the same shooting range as today the whole place was pitched dark and looked haunted, back then there’s a team that need to do BUTT party which we have to carry those targets up as in those days everything was manual and that is right after your shooting, every section had to perform that duty, reminiscing those good old days it was really tough but fun and our army buddies still kept in touch till today as we are all in our sixties. Truly a life time experienced that money cannot buy, we really treasured this kind of comradeship.

Can, but it is not good for the gun in the long run and jammed quite easily, but maybe is cause I only tried it with blanks, not live rounds

Iron sights is ok if weapon is properly zero, I have never missed a shot using Iron Sights for day shoot after BMT as a NSF or NSMAN using M-16 or SAR-80. I heard that the iron sight in SAR-21 is bad, so it may be different.

I pray that this series is to be shown to Filipinos who are in my generation, looking at Filipinos in this generation have a weapon that will never go away from them, and that is their keyboards. I’m hoping one day, Philippines’s version of NS will be resurrected again, paving way for the discipline to spread all over Philippines like a plague.
