      These kids were brainwashed to hate and fight China, I am Overseas Chinese i know it very well the hatred the singaporean had toward China. It's sad that eventhough 70% of singaporean are of Chinese Descent, but they already brainwashed since their childhood to Hate China. Singaporean armed forces are trained by the american and with the help of the local indian descent singaporean they successfully brainwashed the majority of Chinese Descent to hate themselves. The day would come when these brainwashed Chinese with the help of the american will invade China and destroy their own Ancestral Land China.

    As an American veteran, I see similarities and I see a LOT of differences. We got yelled at constantly. Our ancestry, heritage, species... everything about us was questioned and mocked. Also, we yell "Frag out!", "Smoke out"', etc. when throwing grenades. That way, friendly forces know whether to take cover or advance when appropriate. In our doctrine, just yelling "Grenade!" could mean a frag or a flash-bang. One will kill you, the other will startle.

    • @johnwong381
      @johnwong381 Před 2 lety +5

      The yelling of "grenade out" makes a lot of sense, I'm not sure why we don't do that. haha. Well, as SAF is mainly a conscript army plus other cultural differences, I think there would be a ton of differences between our army and the US army which is a full professional army. I feel that as a conscript we only have 2 years to train so we definitely would not be on par with a professional army. Generally, every male serves,. But the government understands that not everyone aspires to be a soldier or has the aptitude for it, so a lot has been put in place to ensure that those that go through it can get through it safely. It is still tough and vigorous, and there is usually more shouting which is usually not shown so much in these videos. I think the more specialised professional SAF units are trained more similarly to the US army or other professional armies.

    Every grenade now has a "XP" sticker on the container, this is after that incident in the past of the grenade accident.. the "XP" means X-RAY Passed.. because all live grenades, are X-rayed to ensure there is a "Fuse" inside and that Fuse is not "broken" or missing. the fuse is the "timer" that will be that "6 second" thing that you count down after you throw it.
    Every live grenade is also 100% inspected before issuing, (not like a batch inspection so if you have 160 grenades to be thrown, all 160 of them are removed before hand and inspected before the item is even issued to the unit.. so yes.. it wont have "foreign matter" or sand or whatever on it.. and all live grenades will be at the newest condition for issuance.. any "old" grenades with "rusty" ring or slight crack, would not have passed the inspection to be issued in the first place.
