- Heya! My second video. Not much to say about it, but uhh... yeah.
Quick side note, I've been appearing in some videos where I play games like Minecraft and Roblox with my good friends. You can find these videos at @reallerr_'s channel, so check them out if you're interested.
Thanks for watching! - Hry
13:29 I love the way he just stares at your soul
Fun Fact: if you will pres f1 you will get fun image with Tails sitting and sleeping on chair and angry Sobic staying and pointing at Tails and saying: 《TAILS! You're FIRED!》
Those are the people working on the demo *probably* Sonikku and SSNTails
according to srb2 the past its a thing to prevent game crashes lmao
@@tunafissh yeah, its a splash screen i guess.
I finished playing this map on SRB2: The Past with Dirk's Mario mod. It's not a very bad map. The music in this map is a banger. Love the humors you include in this video. I actually laughed.
Yeah, it's a lot more bearable with the proper physics of later versions. The Past is such a good mod. Thanks for watching!
16:59 super sonic jumpscare
5:15 the midi is called "chest nuts"
Man your video is really good, the humor, the explaining and the tips are enjoyful.
Really makes the feeling of all of the memes being natural not forced.
Keep up the heat bro.
Thank you so much!
mf really say: Man your video is really good, the humor, the explaining and the tips are enjoyful.

never got into srb2 before 2.2, but this feels awfully nostalgic
wonder what all the christmas music songs were before getting midi'd
close corners is a banger ngl
I feel the same way about your nostalgia, I got into the game around 2.1, so it was cool seeing how the sprites were made all the way back 23 years ago.
In regards to your Close Corners comment, I hope you're talking about the MIDI they play during the level because god forbid you if you're talking about the level itself (jk of course it don't matter to me)
The songs in the first two levels are actually from H2H-XMAS, a different christmas-themed Doom II mod.
13:05 while making maps i figured out thats a special sector type that has footstep sounds, the sand too makes dust when yoh walk on it
The earlier versions of Srb2 Christmas still had the terrible halloween tech demo physics. Now imagine Rocky Mountain
hell
4:40 "Me dieron ganas de chingarme unas quesadillas con queso o algo así" Lmao
Love your videos, despite your low subscriber count, you're one of the best youtubers i have ever seen, the humor, tips, simple editing is awesome!
+1 subscriber
Thank you so, so much for the kind words! :)
@@RecordBreakerMuzic no problem, you're really underrated, since when did you start youtube?
@@tetrasonic91 I started maybe sometime around 2021 uploading somewhat random content and i did that up until I uploaded my first "real" video, which was the SRB2 Final Demo playthrough. That was doing considerably well so I made this one, and since then i've been uploading MIDI music. My next video will probably be either be SRB2 The Past's Beta Quest, or Doom 2.
starting with a banger huh, cool video. I think the old versions have a charm that 2.2 doesn't have, for some reason. Some real good music choices here, too. And for suggestions, an SRB2:the past let's play would be cool
also, 13 gang
I do want to do a Beta Quest playthrough at some point, but not right now as my computer is currently broken. Thanks for watching :)
@@RecordBreakerMuzic Alright 👍 hope it gets fixed soon
@@IkinBBfromAnthologyOfTheKiller Thank you!
jesus christ the fact this game as a whole is older than me is pretty fucking surreal
totally, the fact that it's a fan game too makes it even crazier
@@RecordBreakerMuzic honestly, exactly. it’s gotten so much support over the years that you don’t really find with fangames, Sonic or not.
As someone who’s followed this hedgehog since some of my earliest memories, i wish i would’ve found out about SRB2 sooner. It’s been a blast this past month though!
Edit: pun not intended LOL
In the Coast, there is an exit to a Nightmare
Really? I'll have to search for that, if that's true I'll make a followup video about it
@@RecordBreakerMuzic Yep, there's two secret maps.. Emerald Coast, and 'Sonic's Nightmare'.
@@ssntails Hey SSN! I was aware of Sonic's Nightmare as a level but didn't know there was an exit to it in Emerald Coast. It's an honour to have you here!
@@RecordBreakerMuzic have you find it?
@@gionjiibrahim9774 Indeed I have! In fact, I had made a whole video about it but unfortunately I had it stored on my C drive, and I hadn't uploaded it before it got wiped for repairs. I don't know if I'd want to remake it but I may at some point.
EDIT: The footage I also recorded for it was also lost so that's a pain too. It's not too hard to re record though, editing's my main concern
srb2 christmas isn't necessarily a "great" sonic fangame, but it's good for showing what the doom engine can really do
(and also it was technically the first 3d srb2 version, srb2ween doesn't count, cus it's just a tech demo)
It's far from great, I agree, but it's pretty good especially for the time and limitations of the engine.
i may be late but
by switching throught sonic and tails (tails is playable, hes just in a very unfinished state), very hard mode *is possible* by spamming the thok and running away in the dr eggman fight makes it beatable, and this also goes for the final stage of the demo
speaking of which, *sonic's nightmare* can be accessed throught emerald coast zone (you can find some hidden red springs that take you to a hidden signpost with snow below it), and yes, i had the balls to try and beat it, sure enough its possible!!
More Krima! Good Video!
Also why the console sayin “ignoring sysex” bruh 💀
console dont got no damsels 💀
that's when the music loops
and also you CAN get to sonics nightmare,
at about 12:41 in the emerald coast, there is 2 small platforms with springs on them, if you jump on the left spring you will be launched up to a secret exit marked by snow
i have realised that now! it took me a while to find, but i found it like 4 months ago lol
i made a video on it but my computer broke and we had to wipe the c drive, where the video was stored. unfortunate
10:33 Bangor Mary did you know remix I'm going to play it during Christmas next Christmas
I like the part when you say "flying olives" they really look like olives
The multithok that Sonic can use was removed in Final Demo 1.09.4, if I'm correct. If not, it was the version before that that did.
I think it may have been Demo 1 or 2 that removed it, but you may be right
final demo 1.04 or 1.08
1:39 sonic's nightmare is accessible via the other secret stage.
There'll be a video out soon that covers that
rocky mountain = hell
It's quite easy once you figure it out
I have not figured it out
Imagine srb2 Xmas's shit water physics ported to 2.2 man that would be a pain but what if it's objects were ported to 2.2 as well? (Ik srb2 the past has all this but I'm talking about a separate version for the ported srb2 Xmas objects) it would be fun to see all of the objects of srb2 Xmas in 2.2
And what if it's weird fade in/out thing was ported too? Would be silly to watch
That'd be cool, and that transition sequence is the same as it was in Doom, as the game was made in the Doom Legacy engine
@@RecordBreakerMuzic so yeah basically it is possible to port all of that to srb2 2.2 especially t h e s o l i d s I g n p o s t o b j e c t
@@xavierkemplin3894 eugh. the signpost
@@RecordBreakerMuzic yeah the sprites booooriiing but imagine it was ported to 2.2
The OG
Quick question, i know it's a bit unreleated but, what software do you use to make these edits? They look very good, with your humour they fit super well!
I laughed over time.
Believe it or not, I actually use CapCut for PC to edit my videos (with OBS for recording). I'm not very familiar with Adobe Premiere or anything like that, so it's pretty helpful when it comes to simple videos like these.
Also, thanks for the compliments! Stuff like this makes me wanna keep goin with these, so I hope you stick around :)
@@RecordBreakerMuzic I sure will!
Recently re-went in SRB2.
it's always been called the thok
I know, but just in case I put "air dash" in parentheses just in case anyone didn't know or forgot
and "multi-thok" has been semi-officially dubbed "spam-thok"
ah. makes sense then.
well, in that case, just accept it as some kind of clarification.
how do you use the fill thing on one part on the ms paint section
This reminds me of Yrimir, if you remember him.
Lol i played this with the smps midi driver (sonic 1’s very sound engine) and it was so goofy
That sounds like it'd be fun lmao
I reccomend doing it, search up smps midi driver
@@RecordBreakerMuzic you need mid2smps packaged with smps play tho
Ya gotta also put the dac folder in the same folder as the instrument lists
What software do you use to edit? I'm trying to find the right one to use.
Believe it or not, I use Capcut to edit all my stuff. Specifically the PC version. It works well for what I do and its pretty damn easy to use, so if you feel up to it then you can use that
We need the cutscenes back
I love the music
😊😊😊😊😊😊
Me too! The old midi christmas songs are great to listen to
Now that I came to see that you didn't even go to Sonic's nightmare
Yeah, I completely missed the fact that there was an exit. I'm making an addendum video to the SRB2 trilogy of videos, which will cover Sonic's Nightmare, plus things I missed in the other two videos.
@@RecordBreakerMuzic okay
Pretty sure Gleaming Glacier uses a version of The Christmas Song (Merry Christmas To You), correct me if I'm wrong
Can find it fairly easily by searching for MIDIs specifically
Hey, if you don't mind me asking, What's the outro music?
It's my own composition, actually! czcams.com/video/hGEEBeseALs/video.htmlsi=8-gDZbZbrm0kQ51y
what screen recorder do you use?
OBS
Random Question but how do you get the secret greenflower protottype in this version?
Unfortunately that's not in v0.96, you gotta play v0.93, which is Windows 9X only (say, windows 95 or 98). If you're good with that kind of thing then you could use a virtual machine
@@RecordBreakerMuzicor DOSBox
actually those flying things are Minuses
Christ?! You mean that pervert with the big belly screaming"arch angel my-kull IZNAWTTT JEEZIZ!!"
He was trying to"prey" on me or something perferted
i do not understand
Please make more old srb2 videos!
I do plan on it! My next video is on Doom 2, but I'll definitely keep the SRB2 legacy train going after that. Thanks for watching :)
Edit: After the doom vid i'll probably do one on SRB2 The Past's beta quest campaign.
The midi tracks me work... From the bottom up. I can't find any sonic music🤷♂️ maybe the original? The soundtrack is the most important part 2me
Need*
I'm decently sure (and could be wrong but) most of the midis are just midis you can find online of christmas songs.. and yeah, the only real sonic song in it is the emerald coast theme from that secret level. i do agree though, the ost in a sonic game, fanmade or not, is always one of the important parts, aside from gameplay
Probably no one asked, but in some levels of the Christmas demos (and Beta Quest) you can get out of bounds by multi-thokking into certain corners.
You can use it to completely skip Close Corners lol
oh my god i dont even care if you didn't ask anything to skip close corners
From my experience, it's also useful in THZ2 Beta Quest and MMZ1 Beta Quest
@@RecordBreakerMuzic Alright, I'll record some footage of me skipping Close Corners
@@halfhalf622 that would be incredible thank you so much i hate close corners with a burning fucking passion
@@RecordBreakerMuzic Alright, heres the link.
If it doesn't work then I am SO SORRY
czcams.com/video/RUNKUFoDjtI/video.html
7:26 is that...
It looks like you somehow disabled mouse move. How did you do that?
I'm 99% sure it's somewhere in the settings menu
@@RecordBreakerMuzic It's not there, I tried.
@@midi_feline Well, I just didn't use mouse controls. These old versions aren't as fluid with them in my opinion so I just opt out of using the mouse at all, i don't know if that'll help you but that's just how I attempted this run.
@@RecordBreakerMuzic true, i play demo 2 sometimes and the mouse kinda sucks
@@IkinBBfromAnthologyOfTheKiller yeah, i'd say any versions pre-final demo aren't worth using the mouse with.

How do I enter sonic's nightmare
12:40 there are two springs that lead you to it
