    Breaking the seal does not void your warranty. No "Warranty Void If Removed" sticker does. It's a lie. They might try and fight you on it but if you wanted to take it all the way, the courts would side with you since there's nothing in Warranty law that makes those stickers mean anything.

      you can upgrade it and i recommend unplugging the battery whenever you work on the system, a screwdriver shorting the wrong connectors could fry your motherboard entirely -you should be able to unplug it without taking the battery out. also make sure to ground yourself so static electricity that build up inside you doesnt surge into the components

    • @Sellbrokedotcom
      @Sellbrokedotcom  Před 3 lety +1

      Easiest way is buy some canned air and blast it into the fan vent in short bursts. The part that needs regular cleaning is the heatsink.... the small fins get blocked by hair and dust and that's what causes overheating. If you need to you can remove the bottom case and lightly brush the fan blades.... but shooting air into the heatsink from the vent is the easiest and most effective anyways.

      If its similar to this model, then as soon as you remove the bottom case you can remove the heatsink. Just unscrew it, clean off the old paste, then reinstall with new paste and tighten the screws in the order stamped on the heatsink tabs. Voila! Remember to ground yourself or use an anti-static wristband so you don't bork your motherboard. Good luck!
