I'm thinking to replace the thermal paste and maybe get a external cooling pad or something like that would really like to know your opinion as it would help me a lot! Also any recommendations for the cooling pad which one to get would be great! Thanks man. Hope everything is good!

    What ia hdd size 2.5 or 3.5 brother

    • @ItsBinhRepaired
      @ItsBinhRepaired  Před 3 lety +1

      I mention it in the video. Please watch it all the way through before attempting repairs/upgrades. Very important, especially if your knowledge on computers is minimal. 3.5" hard drives are almost never used in laptops unless it's a custom monster machine.
      It has a 2.5" SATA slot, but no bracket to secure it, so only use an SSD there. The laptop is using an m.2 PCIe NVME SSD as the main drive, but you want to check yours in case it's different.

    • @ItsBinhRepaired
      @ItsBinhRepaired  Před 4 lety

      No, not if you're only changing the RAM. Just make sure the computer is shut down completely. Restart once after installing the new ram
