I am so honored that you're featuring one of my patterns, Kassiah! Your Tremont Crossbody is stunning & you explain all of the steps so clearly. Thank you!
Your pattern is so unique and classy. Great bag.
@@dawn5227 thank you so much! ❤️
Thank you for a great pattern. So talented.!!
@@4golfing I'm so glad you like it! I appreciate your kind words!
Love this pattern. I made one. Do you think trying it at 140% would work?
Okay you made me want to go buy the pattern and make one of these. I love this!
That introduction was the freaking BEST!!!!! :)
A good part of the beauty of a project is the ability to pick beautiful components and you certainly did. Very nice job! Thank you.
I'm loving the rejuvenation of your channel 😍😍😍
I just love your intro music! Cracks me up every time. Love your videos too!
I think it’s good to see the mistakes. Especially knowing if you twist the zipper it’s fixable without ripping it out.
I made this bag the other week, the card slots I omitted instead I added pockets that can hold sanitizer, mini lysol spray, toilet seat covers (get them at Target pk for $3) and some mini packs of tylenol. Teacher Life bag.
This design is AWESOME!!!! I love everything about it!! 🥰
I love this bag! It’s soooo cute! Great tutorial as always! 💜
Great job Kassiah. Thank you so much for your time and abilities.
I cannot WAIT to make this! thank you for your wonderful tutorial!
I love your fabric combinations.
I love this but I’m exhausted just watching you. I’ll put this on my to do when I’m more skilled.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I couldn't have made this bag without you
Yay, can't wait to watch it! Another one from my list.
I bought this pattern recently and love your videos! Thank you Kassiah and the pattern designer too!
Love it!! Love the colors you used!!
The construction is very similar to the Boronia Bowler Bag, which I love, but on a smaller scale. Thanks for another wonderful tutorial! I will definitely be purchasing this pattern after seeing how cute this bag turns out!!
Super Cute!!! So cute I had to have this pattern. Thank you for the amazing tutorial.
Yay...I think you're in my head...yet another pattern I've on my cutting table..just love to sew with you Kassiah.
Just have to say, your hair looks amazing today.
Awe thank you!!
The crossbody bag pattern looks so great.
The video is detail and clear.
Really like it and thanks for sharing
You are awesome. Love your tutorials. Thank you.
I will be buying this pattern asap...so cute! Thank u for the tutorial. Love the hairstyle 👍

Yeah… definitely getting this pattern
Just had to order the pattern! This will be fun! Thanks for sharing!
So jelly of how straight your stitching is!
Great tutorial with tips! I bought the pattern and will be making it soon. I agree that a stiletto is a very helpful tool when attaching zippers on a curve. Wonderful fabric choice. Love this pattern and how yours turned out! Thanks for taking us along.
I purchased the pattern and cant wait to start this bag this afternoon ...
Wow! I love this bag. Have to buy the pattern!
Omgosh! I LOVE this bag. My regular machine is in the shop and I was able to make it on my Old Lady Singer "Tradition" which is the most basic machine out there. Thank you for a great tutorial!
Crazy LOVE this bag!! I bought the pattern through your link. I’ll start cutting it out tomorrow ☺️ Your tutorial is so helpful!
Great bag, your color combo is so pretty!
Woohoo! I just cut this bag out yesterday 🙂 I can’t wait to sew it up later tonight,...I’ll watch your go of it first though 😉😁
What a really unique bag. Doubt if I could do it with this video. Some tricky areas. Thanks for another entertaining of video watching.
Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing
Thank you Kassiah. This is very similar to the Blue Calla Baronia Bowler, which I made recently. The pattern is written similarly for finishing on the corners….but Celine’s video has an alternate solution to finish without the binding. It’s kind of cool. Love how this turned out. I so enjoy watching you. I learn something every time.
Great job! Wonderful tutorial.
I love it ♥️
Ooh it's a very cute little bag! I always love Suzanne's patterns. Terrific tutorial as always and your hair today? 10 out of 10! Lindy
Great tutorial. Thank you🎃
You are fun...love the bag..I'm sure gonna make one..thank you very much..

Sooo pretty ❤️😘
Thanks for sharing from Atlanta Ga USA love 💘ly hair going gave it a try 👀next time
Ich gefalle mich Tasche sehr gut 😍
Nice idea my friend 🤗 🤗 👌👌👍😘 stay connected 👌
Cool intro video!! 😄
I successfully made this bag but it wasn’t easy to do the bottom. It was very difficult to birth it and turn it right side out. I used real leather on the bottom and when turning it right side out some of the stitching came out and I had to hand sew it back on. I also forgot to put the D rings on and had to use the seam ripper yet again. I made a second one and top stitched the bottom of the line with matching thread instead of struggling to turn it inside out. It’s an adorable looking bag but a lot of work and hard on the hands.
Super👍
Belíssima 🥰👏👏👏👏👏👏
This is a great bag. I downloaded my pattern and excited to make one. Is there SVG files by chance.
Hello thank you for taking time to make and share this great video. Did you have your labels made from someone or did you do them yourself? If so would you please share where you had them made. Thank you.
Oh boy, figures I'm a bit late on this but maybe you will check back. I am just starting this bag and am getting all caught up on the different interfacings. I have never worked with decovil light but did order some (hasn't come in yet). However, I am making the bag out of a heavier, tapestry type material; which I work with quite a bit and generally use a fleece interfacing. I guess I could just wait (God forbid) and try the decovil on a scrap but I am wondering if two layers of interfacing is warranted on heavier material maybe just the decovil light?? Maybe I should just be patient (not!)
Is there any way to put the zipper only on the top instead of all around? Other than that I love this pattern.
I’m sure there is a way to do that…
I wish you would add items to the bags after you're done to have a better idea how much you can fit in some of these smaller bags. The bottom seems like it holds a lot but with the zipper closed it seems that everything will poke thru. I love the bag and you're video is great.
Great idea! I’ll try and do that next time
Question, I know this is from a year ago and I didn't read the comments if this has already been suggested. is it possible to box the exterior prior to doing the lining? Then pull the lining bottom through the lining zipper pocket and box the lining....no facing at all....or am I way off on that as a possibiity?
Love watching your video’s although I do have a question when adding the zipper pockets etc do you change your walking foot over to the walking zipper foot ? Or just leave the zipper foot on ?
I change.
Lindaaaa demais
Wondering if it would be possible to do a type of french seaming on the box corners. instead of the strip?
Yes of course if your machine can handle the layers, but remember you have the zipper in there as well…
I am new to making purses, this is very helpful, I do have a question how did you make you label to go on the front of the bag. Love your videos.
I order those from Heartwood and Hide www.heartwoodandhide.com
queria o molde dessa bolsa
I'm just now getting around to watching this video. Can you give me the name of the fabric. I'm trying to find it on the website and I'm not having much luck. Beautiful bag and awesome tutorial!

@@SiahSwag thank you!!!!
Great tutorial. How wide and long did you cut the vinyl for the straps?
Just the length of the vinyl which is usually around 54 inches
Love the video and the bag! What kind of tape did you use on the straps for them to stick? TIA
I used double sided tape from wawak.com
HELP!!! I want to make my strap in one piece like you did. How wide do I cut it? 1.5 inches by length of the strap?
If you want a 3/4 in finished strap, and no raw edges, you cut 3 inches by the length of the vinyl roll
When you go to a smaller needle size…do you need to make adjustments to your machine? Tension, etc…
Nope, everything stays the same for me
How do you judge which size rivets to use? I love this bag so much!!!!
I generally use 9 mm
@@SiahSwag thank you so much!!
new to bag making but have been sewing for many years. wouldn't it be easier to leave the zip apart then join once it is attached.
Yes you can do that too
Would you recommend WPC for lining if sewing on Juki 2010Q?
No I think that might get too thick depending on your layers..
@@SiahSwag That is very helpful. Thank you for replying to my comment. I’ll stick with quilt cotton 🤗
Kassiah, what size thread are you using on this bag and the top-stitch length? The bag is beautiful.
I use a Tex 70 poly thread from my website, and around 5-5.5 for topstitching.
For your strap how wide did you cut it to use 3/4 hardware? Please and thank you. Your videos rock.🥰😘
It should be 3 inches wide to start with
We all have lives, and lots have dogs! Can I ask what made you decide to make you tube videos? I’m just learning and am thinking of documenting it. Maybe just for me or publicly. Just looking for opinions that’s all. Hope you don’t mind me asking ❤️ learning how to use an industrial machine to make bags I have been sewing on a domestic for years. Clothes, quilts, pouches and bags!
To tell you the truth, it was watching other videos and thinking to myself, I think I could explain this a little better…
Hello. It’s a beautiful bag 🥰 but What about the wrinkles? Is it easy to get them away? Thanks 😊
Yes iron with Teflon sheet over it 😊
Are you using a Walking Foot on your sewing machine in this project?
Yes , I always do , it is what my machine came with and works so well for Bagmaking 😊
How long did you make your vinyl strap? I know the pattern calls for sewing two shorter pieces of cotton cut on the bias to make a longer strap. The width of my vinyl is 54”. I could buy the correct yardage to be able to get the length, but that is a lot of yardage for just a strap. Do you think 54” will be okay? I know it’s considerably shorter than the pattern.
I make my crossbodies the length of the vinyl so usually 54 inches 😊
Sikhs Swag Have you ever tried the batehaven bag by kb crafts? I would love to see you do it.
May I ask what iron you were using in this video?
It’s a broken oliso.. I need a new one.
Gostei muito, traduzir para o português
Do you think we can use waterproof canvas for the interior ?
Definitely
Yes I do
@@SiahSwag Do you have any navy Tex 45 ?
Can you share who did your tag ? I love that. I love this pattern too thank you for sharing.
It is from Heartwood and Hide 😊
@@SiahSwag thank you!!
Did you use 1 inch hardwere or did you use what the pattern recomended?
I did 3/4 in hardware. But I have seen it done with 1 inch as well 😊
@@SiahSwag Thank you . I will try that ❤
I can’t buy this pattern because it won’t let me sign in. HELP
That’s something you have to contact the designer about…. I don’t sell the patterns.
How long did you cut your crossbody straps? How tall are you Kassiah?
I usually make than the length of my vinyl which is 54 inches
And I am about 5 foot five
Hello Ms. Kassaih! I was doing research on machines. You do great work. I looking at not spending a lot of money. Your machine does well from what I can see. Would it be worth the investment. I want to get an industrial by the end of April.
I love my machine, totally worth the money I spent.
What size and brand thread do you use?
It’s mine! I sell it on my website SiahSwagBags.com 😊
the hardware link does not show any
I was on vacation. Should work now
