Really pretty combination and nice sewing! ❤️ I like 809 or Craft Fuse in the card slots, too. Nice and sturdy. And I like the extra room from putting the snap up higher. 👍 This is my favorite wallet to make - I use Jessica Cruzan's simplified version except that I always put in two zipper pockets and I curve the front of the flap. I made the first couple of dozen on a 1947 Singer 15-91 and sewing those final side pieces was mur. Der. 😄 I bought an industrial and a hand press and those changed *everything.* Thank you so much for all the hours of videos, you young women are keeping me company. 😊
I find that I never pay attention to anything except the machine itself. It's just so mesmerizing to someone who dreams of owning a machine like this!
Great tutorial and thank you for showing how to add a wristlet strap! I always felt that these larger wallets needed one.
I do like the way you did this video. Seemed clear and not rushed. Also, the rivets! Appreciate they were not installed out of view. I struggle with the simplest details. Thank you :)
Thank you. I bought the material and pattern two years ago. Tried making by reading just the pattern. Could not figure out. Thank you so much for making this video. I watched two others and found your instructions easy to follow and very Helpful. Thank you,
Thank you so much for this video! I watched it the other day and decided to try it out today. Thanks for sewing with me all day today! ha! It took me most of the day to get it made, and I'm loving it! It really helped watching you sew each step...then I would pause the video and do each step. Really like how you do your videos! :)
Peggy Dieu awe that is so awesome to hear! I’d love to see a pic of
Your finished wallet!!!😁
I made an NCW using the directions that came with the pattern. It turned out ok but the zipper pocket didn’t turn out great. I used your method for both and wow, what a difference. SO much better. Thanks so much for taking the time to video tutorials!
I have watched a few videos now on how to make thee NCW wallet. And your video is the BEST one I have seen. Exactly what I was looking for . Thank you sooo much. Clear instructions. I can’t hardly wait to start my wallet now.
Thanks for doing this video, K! Lots of great tips on both WHEN & WHERE to place the 🧲 . I learned a great deal watching you make this & you have a great camera angle set up for viewing, too. BRAVO! 👏
Rett L. Oh thank you so much for the feedback! I’m glad this video was helpful for you!❤️
Loved watching you make this wallet. I've made many and have always made the 2 zipper pocket option. I actually find it easier to wrap my head around.
You are a very classy woman. Thank you for your generous sharing and offer of support. Somehow you manage to make a classy outcome out of most everything you make.
Mary Shaver thank you so much ☺️

Beautiful wallet! ❤️
I've always been afraid of this pattern.
Now I will try to do it.
Thank you.❤️
I really enjoyed watching this video. I got many tips that made it so much easier to sew. I hope you continue making videos you do a great job thank you again.
Oh my! You make it look so easy!
Really nice video, with great tips. Made 3 wallets and watched some other video’s and still learned new tricks. Thank you!
I Have just watched your very interesting video. Having made a couple myself, even now I have picked up some wonderful tips, which I will incorporate in my next wallet., however one tip I have which you may find useful is ,when you are measuring to insert the magnetic fastener, use the bottom of the fastener (the one with the holes in), rather than the piece with the prongs. Lay this piece down flat on your fabric and mark through the two little slits, and then make your cut. I think this is much easier than trying to make a mark with the prongs. Thank you for the tutorial. I am in the UK , and will be watching for further tutorials from you.
Amazing video! Your videos are so easy to follow. Thanks so much.
This is great thanks. I’ve wanted to make this wallet for a while and you make it look achievable 👍🏻

The line idea is genius!
Brilliant tutorial thank you, looking forward to making lots of these, I am in the UK and I too use Abbey tops for rivets, great quality and price.
You are so welcome!
Great hints vs the written pattern! Thanks!
Your such a good teacher 👏
I made one quite a while ago and goofed up the back, so I added a little pocket on the back to cover up my mistake. best thing I ever did. easy to stick a folded $20 or a frequently used credit card without having to open the wallet.
I need to make another, but need to make it a bit bigger. I have way too much junk.
Thank you very much video was great. Will look forward to seeing more of your video. I am going to purchase the pattern.
I have been struggling with this pattern. After watching you do it I can’t wait to finish it now. Thankyou.I do watch all of your videos as I’m new to bag making.cheers
You’re welcome 😊

Fab tutorial, thank you for taking the time to share it. I have this pattern but not made it yet. I have that hole punch, I love it too and cheap as chips. x
Thank you!!
I'm in the middle of making my first NCW in the same fabrics as The Sheera bag I did last week to use with it....again thank you Kassiah for your brilliant tutorial for this wallet too..you make a world of difference to my learning experiences..Lindy xo.

Glad it was helpful!
Excellent job!
Great video! Thank you!
Very very nice video. Beautiful
Sewing etc job. Very understandable. Thank you.
I got the pattern I'm trying it for the first time that really helped me ty
Another great video. I like that you are relaxed and not afraid to show your thought process. You have just the right amount of talking to showing. I also like that you are not afraid to do something different from what's in the pattern. In addition to getting a good handle on the pattern, I learned something in this video about positioning my left hand. Also, I love to watch your machine. It has such a nice sound and pinpoint accuracy! I don't know if you would consider trying the Apricate clutch (or if you're allowed). It has a zillion pieces . . .
Thank you! Yes that designer does her own videos and does not allow others. So sorry!
I’ve watched all your “lessons” You are the very best. Your detailing methods are giving me so much encouragement to try things I never would have. I really want to make the everything wallet but was still worried about attaching the zipper pocket. I read the comment from TheFoxSews and your replies. That sounds like it could work on my Epic2. I was wondering if you’ve heard how she made out. Thanks again for everything. I am truly appreciative.
Beautiful wallet! I've always been afraid of this pattern simply because of the folds. I know I would never be able to fit those in my machine, but the rivets look much easier. Maybe I will purchase it now. You would think at 60 years old I would know how to do that, so thank you so much for demonstrating that on camera.
sorry to be off topic but does anyone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account?
I somehow lost the password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Brodie Alexander instablaster ;)
@Carter Layton Thanks so much for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff atm.
I see it takes a while so I will reply here later with my results.
@Carter Layton It worked and I finally got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thank you so much, you really help me out :D
@Brodie Alexander glad I could help :D
Thanks for sharing your time to show us how to do this wallet,,I’m going to try and make my first wallet,,can you send me which press you got and what rivets,,thanks
Great video 👏
Thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you for showing the rivet press.
I love this video. I'm learning about the different interfacings but can Decovil heavy be used instead of 2 decovil light? I'm wondering if Decovil heavy might be too much. I'm so excited about making this wallet... Thank you so much for this video. Love your channel.
Просто-волшебно!!!! VERY-VERY-VERY SWEET BAG!!!!
My english -so so....But, I shal sew this bag in Russia,Ekaterinburg...❣
great video I made my first ncw but when I finished I noticed a little part of the flap is coming undone from the main body is there anything i can do to fix it it is right at the corner where it turns thanks
Awesome tutorial. Very thorough and love the tips and tricks. Can’t wait to watch more of your videos. Thank you!!!
Hadley Pinnow thank you so much!
I’m so glad I found your channel. Thanks so much. Your tutorial is so easy to follow.
Jan Banks oh I’m so glad! Thanks for watching!!
Awesome tutorial. I learned so much. Does the tool you recommend from Amazon have everything a newbie would need to set the rivets as I am going to order it. Thanks and blessings to you and your family.
You are so good at these tutorials! I've been looking at this pattern for ages but think that my domestic will hate it with all the layers in some parts. Do you think that if you cut the interfacing a touch smaller so it wasn't in the seams/edges of the card slots it would make attaching it under the 'wings' easier? And when attaching the zipper pocket at the end, do you think you could sew the rectangle onto the pocket while it is still separate and then attach it to the slots with a couple of rivets instead of sewing it all together? Also, what would be a good substitute for the Decovil that you use for the main flap?
Hey there! Yes if you keep the interfacing out of the seam allowances AND use cotton you can do this on a domestic for sure, I started that way. I am not sure about the zipper pocket part, give it a go! And I would substitute some kind of peltex in place of the decovil, again out of your seam allowances. 😃
Great video. What is the tool you use for singeing off your thread ends?
Where is the bell anymore! I would like to get notifications when Siah Swag is Live… and New Tutorial’s!
I really love the wallet. If I may suggest something. When you added the inner section and sewed it with white thread, it took so much from wallet. If you sewed the middle section together and put rivets to connect the outside piece. I personally think it would add so much to the wallet. You do beautiful work. I love to watch you channel.
Great video. Very thorough and understandable. Was that pink pen something special or just an ordinary ball point?
I love this video! Very clear and easy to follow! Thank you!!!!! Just wondering which machine are you using?
Rocker Chic thank you so much! I am using a Kingmax, it’s like a step below the juki 1541, just not the name brand, and works wonderfully! I love it so much!
Thank you❤
Thank you.
I wonder if you would consider a tutorial on adding an exterior zipper on 3 sides instead of a flap?
What thread are you using? - it comes out so nicely!
Great video, thank you. Have you ever make the NCW with a double pocket?
Not yet!
I would like to make this wallet but would like to add a shoulder
strap for a crossbody style. Any suggestions?
I love how you take your time and are honest with your demonstration. What kind of sewing machine are you using?
Thank you so much, I sew on a Kingmax GC0302, which is the off brand to the Juki 1181N
I made a few. Sf 101 and 809 for the outside and flap. 809 inside. The 809 is very wrinkly (came wrinkled) 🙄. Definitely saving for 525 🥰.
Great vid! I'm making this wallet today and this really helped! I looked at your link for the 'Rivet' setter, but it's for grommets. Where did you get rivet dies for it? Look forward to watching more from you! K
I was looking through the comments for this very question. Hope she sees and answers. Thanks!
The river press you use, uses inch measurement dyes. The rivets you purchased are in mm. How do you know which mm rivets will fit your inch dyes? Thanks! Kelley
What is that tool you use, looks like a seam ripper but I think it’s a burning tool? I can see so many adaptations I could use inside the wallet to personalize. Thanks
Wonderful video! What thread do you use with your industrial...it looks like a good topstitch thread. Also, if I can't find Decovil Light, is there something else I can use on the flap?
Hello! I use a bonded poly or nylon thread usually weight Tex 69-70. I’m sure there is a Pellon equivalent to decovil but I’m not sure what it is...
Is there a place I could request a step by step for a pattern? I absolutely love the look of the Mynta wallet by Hansedelli and would love a video ❤️ all of your videos have been really helpful 😉
I like your way of stitching the wallet much better than the pattern method, but doesn’t starting the final topstitching on the zipper pocket partway down the side seam leave raw edges from there up to the zipper tab? It does on mine 🤷♀️ Or am I getting something wrong?
Loved your tutorial. Made my first NCW yesterday. Made a second one today. However, I think the vinyl was a little bit thicker and the last step where you insert the card slots and sew the flaps down. My feed dogs chewed a little bit of the corner. Any advice??
Yes my machine wants to eat my vinyl sometimes as well! I put a scrap piece of vinyl behind and and under it to get started on the edges and that seems to help.
Nice job love it ...can i ask where did you get that light on top of your machine ...please
It actually came with my machine but I think people have found it at amazon.
Love this! I'm going to attempt this wallet pattern soon! If you don't mind.... I'm thinking about getting an industrial machine... Which one do you have?
I have a Kingmax GC0302 which is the off brand of a Juki 1181N
