I've scrolled through the comments but haven't found someone asking this: as a person who is used to having to add on the seam allowance on my patterns, are the dimensions with or without the required 1/4 seam allowance?
So should I be cutting a 8.5x8 piece for the 8x7.5 parts or just what the item list asks for? Do the print out parts require an additional seam allowance or are they as is as well? I feel like the answer is obvious but apparently not to me 😅😩

QUESTION: It looks like the lining pieces are bigger all the way around -- not just a half inch SA on the straight edge. Is that just an optical illusion, or should I have added a half-inch SA to the whole piece all the way around? Thanks :) EDIT: Just got to the part where you're showing the rest of the layout -- and on the screen the bottom flap looks so much larger than the top -- but I know they are the same. So I think that answers my question -- it's an optical illusion due to camera angle. So far loving the tutorial -- can't wait to make a NCW this weekend!

kathleen shepherd you want to add seam allowance to the new cut line you’ve just made so you add the extra 1/2 to outside of the traced line 😊 hope that helps

Kittenish Behaviour thank you so much for quick response, I’ll recut before I cut out, that would have been bad mistake much appreciated, love your vide instructions, would never have tried it without them.👍😀

The instructions you have ate different from mine. Have they been rereleased with updates?

There are two versions of the pattern although I couldn't tell you the date it was updated. I'm working with a late 2017 pattern here. 😊
