The 2019 rookies are definitely stepping it up this year
Lando, probably, first race of 2020, first podium and fastest lap in the last lap, then the next race, passed two cars ALSO in the last lap to clinch P5, I hope that he will also do good on this race weekend 💪💪
Love these Videos !! Please do them for every GP , I think it is obvious that Lando was extremely impressive but I also think that both Mercedes drivers were nearly as impressive with der dominance.
Max Verstappen has been outstanding and will no doubt be challenging for future championships for years to come
For me Lando. He drove two awesome races💪🏻
Can we get a "how to master" series for each track? This was an excellent breakdown Nico. Really appreciate it!
ZeroSocial Vietnam and Zandvoort pls too
It was pretty interesting and fun!
100% agree this was super insightful
Excellent video idea. Really tnx for the effort and please do some other tracks if possible.

Nico: “miss the exit curb, because it is too unsettling for traction”

For me Nico is the most impressive as he always takes care of his daughter and protects her from being seen on the internet but still lets her disturb him on his streams!
privacy for your family should always be top priority! You are doing it right! parenting done right!!!
He should make sure his daughters don't show up on camera in the first place if he's concerned about their privacy. A good parent would've taught their children NOT to disturb daddy while he's doing his work.

Incredibly impressed at how technically adept Nico still is after 4 years out of the car!
He lives and breathes F1, his father was a F1 champion keke roseberg , he s a world champion , he wont forget a bit till death bro🔥🔥
Ho should come back
It's also his job as a commentator to keep up to date.
Same, he's a world champion for a reason. Look at the level Lewis is at, and the quality of the rest of the field, and still Nico came out on top. Nico was an absolute beast in 2016
F-E comeback soon
This is great. Instead of shouting for 90 seconds that this is an awesome track, like any Instagram influencer could do, you gave us a detailed 15 minute corner-by-corner dissection.
Kimi is the one who has impressed me the most, despite not having the drink, he manages to make better performance than he does in quali
@Folu Inegbedion bravo
So is it connected or not?
It even says on the banners on track "When you drive never drink" 😋
his body movements actually helps explaining the car’s behavior into and out of corner
this was fascinating to watch
Drivers across all motorsports always seem to be great at using their hands to describe what the car is doing and how it's handling. It can be super interesting to watch.

I don’t race, not even virtually, so I don’t really know what I will do with this informations but watching a Formula 1 World Champion breaking down a lap and giving some real tips and techniques was one of the most fascinating things I’ve ever seen on CZcams. You should make a full series out of these analysis Nico!

So much technical details. That’s the difference between the pros and us casual gamers... 😓
Once you start getting good at understanding race tracks in general and how to optimise a corner, these details actually become really straight forward and easy to remember. A lot of the details Nico teaches here are actually very transferable to other tracks. It's all about experience 👍 I'd say I'm a "casual" gamer but can do a pretty decent lap with these details in mind, just takes practice.
I’m like “Whoa, those little details he throws in there really sets him apart the others...a true pro
I think Nico himself needs one of these vouchers to get a decent mic
upgrade mic and audio interface
ex: Audio-Technica AT-2020 and Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 would help
I think he just has the gain turned up too high.
Tyler1 audio input quality
The technical details down to the minute level is astounding. The commitment it takes to really eek out precious tenths and seconds is something I've never been able to fully comprehend until now. I wonder just how far Nico had to go just to beat Lewis who is such a dedicated driver himself, respect!
wow can't agree with u more!
He went as far as the garage that his car was in to ruin his reliability
@@lo.18.s93 Don't be bitter about it. Reliability issues and luck are part of F1. Nico won the championship in 2016 fair and square.
@ bruh your the funniest lad ive ever met, have you even watched 2016? the number of incidents rosberg had with hamilton and everyone knows they were all rosbergs fault.
I've been mostly impressed with Sebastian Vettel. He's gone through a torrid last couple of years and now with his unsecure future he's stayed professional and focused through all his problems. Hats off to his calmness where others could have gone under. Kudos Seb 👍
Lando Norris talent is shinning this year and his emotions are so genuine when he got his results so far, awesome lad. And still so young 👊
And the best part is that his more open attitude is having an effect on the rest of the grid.
His microphone sounds like in that "Radio Volume" press conference 😂
'DID YOU GET THAT?' 'CHECK THE RADIO VOLUME'
"THAT'S THE..*Seb fixing Nico's mic"..THAT'S THE MOST IMPORTANT.."
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
He probably stole the mic and then found it a thousand years later in his basement.
And now we're going into the hot lap!!!
...
THIS AND NEXT LAP INVALIDATED - LEFT THE TRACK
Ofcourse his lap will be invalidated. Although not as clean as Codemasters want your laps to be, they use all of the track that they can to get the maximum amt of lap time.
@@EndEverAfter I hate this especially in Canada, where you get in the skicane before the Wall of Champions. You cut a bit much or have a bad exit, BOOM invalid. It's so ridiculous
@Sampoerna Dianto In the game, strict rules are too strict and normal rules are too loose lol
FrankyPi I feel u...happens to me every time
@@EndEverAfter he went all four wheels past the white line. That's ignoring track limits irl too.
George Russel has been eye opening this year. He's dragging that Williams to some seriously impressive lap times. Really wish we could see what he could do in a top car, I feel he would really be tough.
It has to be Charles Leclerc because he dragged that red Williams to the podium In Austria
Charles is a good guy. He will become champion. He alex, george, norris are all good lads. I like this era of drivers more than the previous one(Seb, hamilton, alonso, webber). That era of drivers had a lot of selfishness and controversy. They were too selfish. The new guys seem more genuine and likeable.
@@Dzaen2 i wouldnt say that
@Dzaen your saying that because u wasn't alive in the previous era or didn't watch it. It was one of the greatest f1 eras and many iconic races occurred then.
Norris has really improved this season, but I guess that's just landobot taking over!

I'm impressed this season by Nico Rosberg because he instantly turned 70 with this haircut! 😅🏎️

Thank you Nico! Amazing content. It helps to see former drivers explain something like corner-behaviour of a car with their hands and body language. I just found this today and i am thankful.
Besten Dank. Du hast ja keine Ahnung wie sehr deine Art und Weise Dinge zu zeigen hilft. Alles Gute für dein Projekt!
Has to be George Russell, he is by far the most talented of the young ones and he has the worst car on the grid, but still works hard and takes every opportunity he can.
I think Haas or Alfa have taken that mantle now.
Verstappen is better than Russel but I don’t see Verstappen as a young driver anymore
He is a monster
Last Lap Lando! He learned a lot from last year and he’s more confident this year🧡
Ayo, not that crazy but still pretty crazy coincidence seeing your comment here after coming across lots of them on reddit.
Lando "Final Lap" Norris
Nico, bitte mach weiter mit diesen Videos!! Selten so interessiert ein Video auf CZcams geschaut. Unglaublich hochwertiges Material !!!
As an F1 fan, this is probably one of the best videos i have seen, so many interesting information. Is just not turning and push the pedals, every corner has its tricks and technique. Very much apreciated nico!
For the current season, it has to be Lando Norris.
He's technically sound, drives on instinct and is clever in his maneuver if the car around the track. Add to that, he's got a cool head over his shoulder and more fearless in that young age coz he races from the heart.
He's a mini smooth operator and a mini joker in the making! What more do u want from an F1 pilot?
He's great, last year it was just confidence I think. He seems to have it this year. Young driver with a lot of potential. He has plenty of time to make small progress and keep building on what he's got.
I'm really impressed that Nico is still playing F1 2019 instead of F1 2020 :)
You are most in your element when doing this programme. Your energy and eloquence are so energizing.
I realize now how special F1 drivers are in terms of the skills required.
Thanks: keep doing this.

Probably hes waiting for the black Merc patch or need time to buy it
Charles le Clerc racing and being Kimi's engineer at the same time has impressed me.
This guy has potential to be World Champion, he really knows much about the sport.
To have you explain each sector and corner is amazing, this give us a glance of the complexity and concentration of doing it 70 consecutive laps!

Best hotlap vid from a actual F1 driver. The insight into each corners is amazing keep it up Nico!
Honestly stroll had impressed me the most. He’s done a lot better then people thought he would

Please Nico, do such videos for each possible track! That is not only interesting for sim racers to improve their skills but also for F1 fans to understand why F1 is such a beautiful sport!
Many thanks for this video btw!
intense breakdown and when he starts the flying lap first thing: "invalide lap time" xd
For me, the most impressive one has been the 1st place trophy-carrying robot. New MVP as far as I'm concerned
Must be George, although he is at Williams, he comes with a very strong pace, and if in the future he can go to a competitive team, Cof (Mercedes), cof (RBR), he certainly has a great chance of winning the championship . Hugs from Brazil.
He'd go to mercedes not rbr

This was awesome to watch. Thank you for this Nico! So much fun to listen someone who knows what is talking about.
I'm most impressed by Williams reaching Ferrari's level in just one year
You mean ferrari reaching Williams level
lam19bo well, it can be seen in either way lol
Team that impressed me the most is Ferrari; I never thought any team could lose nearly a second while rules stay the same
But their engine didn't stay the same they ran a slower engine
Nico, thank you soooo so much for the insights to the F1 from an F1 driver. Quite a lot of people what are not fans of the F1 keep saying it is boring to watch because drivers just go around and around. I think If more people would actually know what all is going on while you guys are racing they might finally shut ** and appreciate it. :D Cheers again
Best track analysis I’ve seen on CZcams, and I’ve watched hundreds.
Lando Norris by far has impressed me the most, probably, because Mclaren is the most wholesome team

@@Shadicboom101 what is the simulator in this vid called
I've often wondered:
Do F1 drivers ever drive corners by "instinct" without thinking about it, or are they always watching the distance boards for braking points?
T L they’ll use anything they can find for breaking points.
I may be wrong,, but sometimes there is no refference braking mark or its a blind corner. Like that fast corner at Spa, and turn 5 at Barcelona... then im sure they just rely on their instinct and experience
Elkan van Wyk yea exactly, there is always a reference you can find.
For instance at Laguna Seca in the corkscrew it’s a totally blind corner but you know to point your nose at the middle of 3 trees that are there that you can see.
If you end up with your nose on the tree a few feet to the right you end up in the gravel and if you over cut it and oversteer with your nose to the tree on the left than you are going into the wall or seriously killing your lap time on the exit. The exit is always tough because you are typically always on the rev limiter just before exit but you can’t upshift too early because the car is bottoming out at the same time and you need to flow through the exit out to setup for the next left hander where the car gets light again. It’s a fun ride :)
I think the question is also about racing a track for the first time. What if an F1 driver has never driven a track before. Can they just see the curve and know how to take it to hit the apex? At least that's what I'm curious to know.
@@johnnyboy3563 I believe many great drivers walk the track beforehand to see what they can or cannot use as a ref point on track.
Not just the great pilot that has beaten Hamilton for the Championship, but a great coach, too! Thank you, Nico!
From this analysis, you can tell just how DANGEROUS Nico is. I still can't understand why such a legend gave up on F1
Hi Nico.
This series is way better than last years circuit rundowns by the official F1 YT channel. Keep up the good work.
Hey Nico plz do more of "How To Master." I loved it. Great breakdown
This is happens when you have great parents! It makes me so happy to see such happy person! All the best!
In terms of personality, Nico is my favourite F1 driver ever. He seems like a real chill guy that you’d like to hang out with
I'm most impressed by Lando Norris because he was being consistent over the last two races and already has half the points from last year.
the power of scenario 7
So far the most impressed with Latifi.
He's actually performed decently well, drove a clean race for Austria which nearly got him a point, and for a large part stayed ahead of Russell for Styria. Honestly a good rookie effort from somebody seen as a talentless pay driver.
Absolutely INCREDIBLE track analysis!!! This was FANTASTIC!! Please do this for every track!!
Since there was the eprix stuff this year I decided to finally get a wheel and start playing the game and set some lap times myself, so I really loved hearing you break down the lap! Awesome job! Please keep doing these for the upcoming races! Also so far Lando has impressed me the most, as he said it: from full time game steamer to first F1 podium in 24h. He seems like a great dude!
The Ferrari impressed me a lot
*Cuz of evolving backwards*
Why would someone ever do such a monsterous thing to a BMW?! 😂
That isn't called impressed but "dissapointed"
"And now we're going into the hotlap! Flatout"
**lap gets invalidated**
yes, but actually no
Thank you for this. I love how you explain all this. The brake bias adjustments are so cool to know because in-game I change them often too and use 60 here and there as well as 58, 57, and 54. I mainly use 54 but it's to cool to have Nico tell us roughly what's best used for certain corners and turns. Plus all the car positioning and where there is grip and what not for Quali vs race. It's great hearing about real-life vs game. Because this can only help the developers make a better game for the future. Nico when you get a chance give 2020 game ago and see what the improvements are like. My experience it's very good compared to 2019.
Nice work Nico! Fantastic to see expert analysis of that lap. And an excellent hot lap.
I feel like Bottas has impressed me the most he is preforming well and can be in a fight for the championship
Valtteri, it´s James
I want him to win
he was leading last year after the first few races before things went south. If he was going to win a championship a shortened schedule will be his best odds.
George Russell is the most impressive taking all his virtual gp experience into the William's car🤣
can’t get over how george would be so perfect for merc. the brilliance, the absolute relentlessness.
