Easy, valteri check Lewis for damage but dont overtake..
Valtteri it's James please abort the fastest lap attempt before the end of the lap
Hi Nico, got to be Verstappen and Checo’s team work in France!
Lewis: "This is a marathon, not a sprint"
-Checo puts pressure on Lewis, activates "the magic" proceeds to lock-up and went straight.
-Checo wins the Azerbaijan GP.
E p i c.
Nice info dude. I think for Mexican f1 circuit. track side on between 2 grandstand with close left and right angle, look so elegant but also difficult, with perfect combination beauty and the beast. . 🏁GO Amg Petronas, hope win on Mexico Amen ya Rabbalalamin InsyaAllah 🤲
“If we stay at this pace, what are we looking for in position?” - Charles Leclerc
“If we can keep Bottas behind, P1” - Ferrari Engineer
This comment needs to win
certified ferrari engineer moment
LOL... That was one silly response! I remember i laughed out loud, alone in the office.
Understood, we're checking
The kind of response you get when 100% of brain is used
Kimi: "Can you hear me now?"
Engineer: "No, negative, negative. I cannot hear you."
"But you answer still..." Kimi Legend
HA.
yet you answer still...
hello there out of context comment
@SC-SchKANN [SR] because you don't watch F1
"No Checo, you will not have a drink."
The fact that Checo managed to get a P3 in the United States GP without having any water is out of this world! Now that's what I call taking your body to the limit and still perform.
And he was feeling unwell in addition.
Haven’t you seen the Nico Rosberg ads?
“If you drive, don’t drink”
Several drivers have done it multiple times Kimi included. Heavier drivers have gone through that several times
@@arydias85 aha. P3? And if anyone did, what. If kimi does it is awesome but if perez does no?
This is just a Fanboy type of comment
Alonso defending Hamilton in Hungary was a masterclass in racecraft. Especially given that he had a much weaker car compared to the Mercedes behemoth. Absolute smooth drive
Yup, but this channel is british, anyone will vote u
First Lap in Hungary, so much action in only a matter of seconds. Changed the entire race.
Bottas made so much chaos for everyone, such a crazy moment
@nico he won the giveaway
Looks like ur getting it
*the entire championship
@@Ran2thedom nah, max is still leading
Best moment has to be Alonso's absolute defending masterclass in the Hungarian GP. Not only did he show that he was, but still is one of the best and talented drivers on the grid, he also played a MEGA part in Ocon's victory and Alpines first podium this year. just a clear statement that it isn't always the car but the one driving it !
OMG I said the same thing 3hours before u and u r getting the trending comment. Good job….. :)
Alonso was forced into a lock up though. That moment was overrated imo.
@@afterthought6889 Alonso is never overrated
@@afterthought6889 Yeah, but he was on significantly older tires in a significantly slower car
@@afterthought6889 Alonso forced Hamilton, the car behind - into making mistakes in the third sector. 💀
By far, the best piece of team radio that gave me the chills, was Checo giving position to Max at Paul Ricard, and Checo saying, "Let's get them!" and at the end Max got to win that race
Favorite racing action? Easy: Perez and Hamilton side-by-side racing through several corners at the Turkish Grand Prix. Respectful but fair racing. Btw, the look of concentration on your face during the hotlap...priceless :)
Toto's email team radio to Michael is definitely one of the best moments in terms of bringing the fans closer to the sport showcasing how teams are not giving up on anything to gain advantage and also hilarious on the side.
For sure an amazing moment
Sergio Perez defending his position to Hamilton at the Turkish GP, absolutly magnific
Checo: You like that one!
Absolutely agree
My choice too! 😃
Or alonso at hungary
My favorite was when Checo let Max by in France and told him „Let’s get them“. Just shows incredible sportsmanship from Checo and the overtake at the end of the GP from Max was incredible
The moment Hamilton said: "it a marathon not a sprint" and then slipped off in the first corner at Azbereijan
"It´s lights out and away we go for Lewis Hammilton only".
Makes me smile every time i see it.
Yes, that moment was hallucinating!
What a lovely season, unfortunately Max and Lewis fanboys disagree.
It’s a great season -max fan
@@ligamo it doesn’t matter who you’re a fan of. It’s been a good season. Far more drivers have had an actual opportunity to win a race this year. Much better midfield battle. Constructors battle, title battle. And then there’s HAAS.
Definitely Mclaren’s first victory and 1,2 finish in nearly a decade. The amount of support and pure joy from even non mclaren fans that day was astounding and it was truly amazing to see Danny Ricciardo’s critics be proved wrong with this victory. Was both a significant and special day for nearly all F1 fans.
yea!
Agreed
I was going to comment the same but since your comment is already trending, here is my like for you
@@esterfon-pat8723 much appreciated man!
It was awsome!
"I got a special line that Lewis doesn't know" - Nico Rosberg

(Or worked?)
@Megatron Knows after losing twice. They had a good battle, and both prove to be excellent drivers.
@Megatron Knows 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Max's final charge to victory, overtaking Lewis during the closing laps in France. It was so thrilling to see a Red Bull car hunting down a Mercedes in a track which is known to favour straight line speed. For me that was the moment that showed that the Bulls are back in the pace and that this year is going to be exciting.
Alonso’s epic defence on Hamilton! Age hasn’t slowed him down 1 bit and he’s only getting better.
And when he won his third title, it will be the best Kept you waiting, huh? moment in F1 ...

Wish we had that kinda respect last season for the championship fight lol
Best moment, Dani Ricc winning monza and saying on the radio “I never left” after struggling al the season what an epic moment
Checo to his engineer and Max: "Tell him to push, let's get them!"
"Yeah, the race it's on"
Enough to make a grown man cry.
When Fernando waited proudly to hug Esteban after his win in Hungary. That really warmed my heart especialy comeing from Fernando.
Seeing Daniel Ricciardo back on top of the highest step of the podium with a big smile! After those difficult years after he left red bull. He is such a nice guy and he deserved it.
Russia when it was just starting to rain, Norris wanted his first win, Lewis wanted his 100th and the gap was closing lap by lap. Loved that
Baku GP when Lewis said "it's a marathon not a sprint" then proceeds to not disabling magic button and overshot turn 1
that was the key to losing the WDC tbh. He should have got that 26 points we would talk about 14 points leading instead of 12 points behidn verstappen lewis literally needs a miracle brazil is suited for redbull as well Lewis has no chance
That was the best WTF moment of my life
@@1goal1dream39 yes and hopefully he doesnt win this year
Max saying "Is he complaining about something or what ?" in the Dutch GP made me laugh
LOL!
oh good one! 🤣🤣
Russel’s team radio, “sacrifice my race for Nicholas”. Such a wholesome moment
"And for anyone that thought I left, I never left, I just moved aside for a while."- Ricciardo after Monza P1, what a great moment to see whim win again.
The battle between Checo and Hamilton in the Turkey GP, with that livery it was incredible.
It has to be Kimi and the drink ....
"It kept leaking in my helmet"
its a tradition at this point, btw enjoy your videos a lot
Just found this, Nico you do an amazing job of bringing the moments to life with great insights. Loving the Q&A from fans, especially hearing what tweaking you can do in flight, and the description of the constriction being strapped into your seat. Your description really lets the audience imagine what you experience.. great narration!
Toto: ”I can’t race on monday, I’m going to the beach”
Belgium Prix when rain cancelled the race
The end of Spa qualifying definitely does it for me. Seeing George go P1 for a moment was awe inspiring
The race was even better
I'm a Max fan, but I felt devastated when Max took pole. I wanted George to take pole so much.
I would say Sergio defending from Lewis, that was pretty cool.
Fernando did it better
This season, the best moment was the fight between Perez and Hamilton in the Turkish Grand Prix. A lot of pressure stealing the space but clean after all, show great skills
I love that moment at the end of the lap analysis when you say "... and that's the end of the lap". What I see in your face, it's like you were living that moment again. Thanks Nico!
The ending in Baku:
Verstappen's crash followed by Hamilton's lock leading to Perez P1 and Seb P2
My heart dropped more than once 😍
Alonso holding off Hamilton for the benefit of Ocon. He should great teamwork and sportsmanship, while displaying the absolute quality driving of the old Alonso. He wasn't in that race for himself, he was doing all he could to benefit his team. Class act!!
This was pretty amazing from alonso. Showed how good of a driver he is and has been for so many years
Nico talking about how tough being in an F1 car is, especially around Singapore and I still can't believe how you guys make it look so easy when we go onboard, it's like you guys are cruising. So incredible
You have a perfection combination Nico, with all the experience and becoming a F1 world champion and telling so much of your expererience in a way that the viewer is full focus.. keep it up!
My favourite incident was Esteban Ocon winning the race in Hungary, also Alonso's defending of Hamilton was fabulous 🔥
The best moment of the year is the Mclaren 1-2 in Monza. They have had such a long and hard decade, but seeing the team's raw emotion from that win got me choked up
Nico - it is ABSOLUTELY fascinating to see how an F1 racer not only drives but THINKS during a typical lap - your take and comments are SO beautifully delivered along with such a healthy level of modesty - I raced single seaters when I was a kid - I mention this only to help me emphasize how much I appreciate what you are doing here. Please continue to help our understanding of F1 grow, race by race!
As a Mexican, my favorite moment of this season is Checo's win in Baku 🙌🇲🇽
Toto Wolff to Michael Masi: "Michael I just sent you an email, with diagrams with where the car should be, did you receive that?"
Masi: "No Toto I don't access my emails during a race."
The best imo
Checo’s defense from Hamilton in Turkey is definitely my favorite moment of the season. As a Mexican fan, that moment made me feel that Checo would gain a lot of confidence, which would help him get to Mexico in great form. I really hope he has a great weekend!
Thanks for such a detailed and informative breakdown. Also, thanks for such thoughtful replies to the questions... it's fabulous insight into the driver's perspective.
For sure it was the French GP where Checo didn't held Max up then said "let's get them!" and Max thanking Checo for that. Eventually, Max won the race after overtaking both Bottas and Hamilton and Checo got podium ahead of Bottas. That's super cool to witness such a moment.
Last 5 laps in Russia was my favourite moment. So many big decisions had to be made in such a short amount of time. I always find it interesting to see the winners and losers in these moments, and how it affects the drivers and teams decision making in similar circumstances in the future.
The best racing action of the season so far has to be the epic wheel to wheel duel between Checo Perez and Hamilton in Turkey!
Even better is the fact that Checo came out on top
Danke für deine ganzen track reviews, klasse Typ💪🏻
Bottas spings out in pit lane and three members of another team shows the true spirit of a gemtleman.
This years favourite action: Checo holding onto 3rd position after a very hot and humid 120 minutes on the Austin track, without the drink!
Lol
Favorite piece of racing action so far HAS to be Alonso V Hamilton in Hungary. With the amazing commentary courtesy of Nico, and the inside knowledge he brought about every little thing that was happening and the brilliant attack/defense from Alonso and Hamilton. Absolutely brilliant, can't wait til Nico can commentate again!
Masterclass information Nico Sir. Winning this track on it's first year was truly an amazing accomplishment without having any past year data to look back on. As always, incredible evaluaton of the track. 5/5! Two thumbs way up.
Thanks Nico. Those were fantastic questions and the answers were fantastic to match. Love your work Champ!
My favorite moment was when Lewis sends it into Verstappen in Silverstone. So much drama behind it and who really knows if it's intentional or accidental--but it's not the first time Lewis has done something like this, is it...
Lol you really don't want that giveaway
Favorite piece of racing action? That is easy, first lap in Silverstone. And I don't mean that crash.
That first lap was Formula 1 at its best. Two supertalents racing each other as hard as one could imagine, not giving an inch while still being respectful.
Max keeping the lead despite Lewis having a better start, going round the outside.
When they were racing through Wellington straight, there was not an even half inch between them. They were basically in each other, no one was yielding.
Also, as much as I don't like Crofty, his commentary was passionate af. I had goosebumps and I have goosebumps whenever I watch it again. Absolute perfection.
It is a shame that all people talk about is that Crash. That crash was unfortunate ending to best battle between two championship contenders for... I don't know.... decades?! It reminds me of 2016 on steroids. It reminds me of You and Lewis racing each other very, very hard but taken to another level.
My favorite is definitely the entire Hungary race, from the pinball start, changing weather conditions, to the insane one car restart, to Lewis fighting back from last, Williams in freaking top 3 and George radio call to sacrifice his race, and of course Lewis vs. Fernando, even MSC vs Ham and Ver… to finally Esteban winning. I mean literally what a race!!!
I watched that race 3 times that weekend in full, the entire thing was just amazing! By far my favorite so far this season.
When Stroll had that little bump over the chicane at Monaco - LITERALLY the best thing happening at that particular moment
My favorite one was the absolute masterpiece defensive work of Checo on Hamilton in Turkey, lovely!
Best moment so far has been Checo's defense on Hamilton. Such a thrill to watch!
Absolutely love these videos and really appreciate the final questions, cheers.
What an honor to be embraced by the Mexican fans like that. The Mexicans are great when they love you and to be absolutely feared when they don’t. I know having been with one for 14 years. lol
The Silverstone crash is my favorite moment this season because of the tension and drama that followed afterwards. We hadn't seen something like that in the sport since your last season Nico.
Maybe Baku 2017 comes close to it, but not on the same level imo. The outrage was mental.
Max and Lewis’s insane start at Silverstone and inevitably Max’s crash. Never has Crofty been so excited and never have I witnessed such an amazing battle at the beginning of a race. Aside from that, it halted RB’s momentum for two or three more races. 🥲
"inevitably"
Lando, Austrian GP
Enginner: "OK, what damage do you have?"
Lando: "Aaah... Talent"
Radio of Daniel Riccardo after Monza. It showed so much emotion you could hear the relief and how hard he had been fighting for the top spot again. Very moving and one of the best insights to F1
Alonso defending against Hamilton to secure Ocon's win. It was amazing to watch, and just shows why Alonso is still one of the best 🔥🔥
agreed, it was amazing
"This is a marathon not a sprint, guys" *proceeds to lock-up on turn 1 and lose P1*
lol!
Nobody else offers such excellent information! Love your videos as always. I always learn so much more about the technical side of F1 :)
I went to my first F1 race at the US GP a couple of weeks ago. I absolutely loved everything about it. The pre race, the crowd, seeing the cars in person the first time, hearing them, the intensity of the battle between max and Lewis, it was epic. The post race going on the track thing was awesome. There were so many people, seeing the cars up close, all the fans celebrate max, Lewis and Checo, it was one of the coolest things I’ve ever experienced.
My favourite moment this season was Daniel Ricardo's win after a long dry spell. His celebration and Lando's shoey were also very memorable.
It's funny. You only got six like atm, while just above you someone got over 130 for essentially the same comment. The CZcams comments lottery, eh? I'd have to agree with you that that was the most exciting for me. Danny Ric winning with a Maclaren 1-2.
Hands down Chad Alonso reminding us of his 2007 days with that incredible defending against Lewis on an Alpine of all things!
this was amazing,
especially watching this and now having seen qualis now ty
So cool to see that Nico still fully pushes the breaks as if he was sitting in the car and also focuses on keeping his neck straight - look at his face when he turns into the corner
Fernando Alonso’s defending to help Ocon get his podium in Hungary. Master and apprentice moment there for both. Shows true sportsmanship and teamwork by a veteran and young driver
Not my favourite moment but it was scary and memorable, Max & Lewis in Silverstone the first few corners were nail biting and then the sudden realization that someone was off and heading to the barriers... that was unforgettable.
this is a MUST SEE in a race weekend. thank you Nico for sharing your experience and skill 🏎🏁
Jeeze, fantastic answers to all the questions! Nice Nico! So in-depth, very cool
"Valtteri, it's James, please abort the fastest lap attempt before the end of the lap"

Checo saying "let's get them" on the radio at the French GP, resulting in a double redbull podium.
yes
Nico has a great talent of explaining things to understand them, wish other talented drivers had the same skill, because it helps to understand like the coast to break to save fuel ect...
I was having trouble, here and in Hungary and you just made my day, thanks Nico, amazing advice and amazing pilot.
It has to be France. It was a fair Lewis-Max fight for the win and a Mercedes-Red Bull with the Perez-Bottas fight. It had us all in the edge of our seats. It was the first time I enjoyed a race that much since 2016 (Also 2018 had some good races). US was also good but it lacked the Mercedes-Red Bull fight since Bottas had an ICE penalty. All I want for the last 5 races is this kind of racing.
Also 2017 and 2019 had some good races but i didn't enjoy them as much as other years. 2020 was the most boring year in my opinion. The W11 was so fast that there was no point watching.
I guess we may get it today at Mexico
Bowah this season has been so intense I've probably forgotten about 70% of what has happened in the earlier races. I would have to say that the opening lap of the British GP has to be the highlight shame it ended how it ended but until cops, it was absolutely breathtaking.
When George Russel got p1at spa was a huge surprise to me. the joy that was on his face after qualifying.
P1?
"Feliz navidad or whatever you say to Checo" - Seb's team radio after Azerbaijan
Of course the 2021 season had many great moments, radios, actions etc. but that radio still makes me laugh. The fact that Vettel finished second behind Pérez and used his radio to congratulate him really showed again what a great guy Seb is. Also he was very sympathetic, and it was just like the language of F1 combines all people, no matter If you know the real languages or not. Furthermore, it can always be Christmas xD
French GP where Max overtook Lewis on the last lap of the race.
Let's get them
Penultimate but ye
The battle between Perez and Hamilton when Perez managed to stay ahead after getting pushed into the pit entry... top work from the Mexican who will hopefully win this weekend
VAMOOOOOOOOOOOOS!
Unless Perez is many seconds ahead, I honestly believe they will force him to let Verstappen pass and take the win.
Kimi and alfa's team radio in Bahrain , I think was the best radio conversations this season
Super cool channel taking us through the laps, strategy and driver technique. We can see your enthusiasm and passion for driving. I wonder what it would be like to see you back on the track? Awesome infotainment. Thanks Nico!
Perez's defence against Hamilton in Turkey, very entertaining to watch
Easy, DR's win in Monza and Lando's 2nd place. That weekend felt like a damn festival. The one race when the entire F1 community was united, regardless of who supported who
Lol except max and Lewis fanboys who were busy arguing over who was at fault
@@sentientspaghetti1898 Oh yeah, kinda forgot about that whole saga XD
Love that no matter what your sticking with the CSL elite base and showing you can be just as fast or faster with belt driven as a direct drive. I still bust out the belt driven every once in awhile and find it just as enjoyable if not for some weird reason more enjoyable. Stick with it Nico!!
Great video and sooo much insight, thanks Nico!
My favourite moment was battle between Max and Hamilton in silverstone (in sprint and in race also)
“For anyone that thought I left… I never left” Daniel Ricciardos Italian win
