Do t think I've ever seen the CV come out that easy...so jealous. Not entirely sure why but I have to replace 4wd disconnect every other year, which is impressive for rarely using 4wd. Finally taking the plunge and replacing everything on the front suspension in hopes this will solve my 4wd disconnect problems. Great video.

Just did this exact thing on an ‘04. Greatly appreciate the video and tips your provided, saved me some troubles. I was most worried about the axle seal and it ended up being the easiest thing to do. Might be singing a different tune though if I had pneumatic tools. Thanks again man, look forward to finding other trailblazer videos from ya.
Thank you for filming this so much I have I very stuck rubber bushing for the lower control arm bracket and this video has helped me see exactly where the problem can be solved by removing the bracket its installed in,not even my Haynes manual helped me out for this
I ordered mine replaced. Upper and lower armas. Steering inner and outer ball joints. Bottom ball joints. I didn't do the struts but that's next and stabilizer links and bushings

I did all this on my 05 trailblazer 4 years ago….already had to replace the sway bar end links, ball joints and the tie rod ends again…and one wheel bearing assembly because the battery was leaking acid and screwed a bunch of stuff up from corrosion….i hope it’s not the brand being shite anymore…I used Detroit axle as the brand…can’t afford moog lol….talk about a pita…working on trying to get the passenger side cv shaft out…

I have my truck in the air now. Did the upper A arm replacement. Can I replace the lower without taking the axle nuts off? It looked like you installed with the axle in as a test.
The lower control arm is adjustable for the camber where those bolts are on the subframe. He measured it to get it back where the original lower control arm was. Nevertheless it will still need to have an alignment done afterwards

I did mine, you have to take off rotors and brake pads easy, take the whole knuckles off, it's pretty easy on my 07

You're gonna need alignment after. They measure everything but still came out way different alignment.

You'll need to do some Googling or get a repair manual for that
Once you start with one piece of those you should expect more of them worn out. Consider whole suspension if you are gonna stop your truck
I have my truck in the air now. Did the upper A arm replacement. Can I replace the lower without taking the axle nuts off? It looked like you installed with the axle in as a test.
It might have to be removed because of the way the control arm has to slide out of the subframe but not 100% sure

Did your strut mounts go on easy. Mine don't seem to fit in all the way but there's a huge gap between the strut mount and the strut bushing.

Very carefully, that thing is heavy.
