For me, he was an obnoxious and embarrassing owner who took the club to within minutes of non existence. He chose to let the club go into administration rather than accept outside backing and blames the current owners for his downfall.

The biggest mistake Levy made was managing to turn Tottenham into a huge club internationally when they used to just be the best of the rest. Because they’re now an international club with huge stars/world class players, a top manager and an amazing stadium spurs fans look at them and have high expectations and when that’s not met you get this. Levy should never have built the club/brand to what it is now and should have had spurs fans feel lucky to come 6th.

I have heard this caller (Matt) a few times on Talk Sport and he is an out and out legend! Ehhh I think it’s a mixture of both Arsenal doing so well this season and the fact that we’re having another season with no trophy.
We don’t expect to win the league or the champions league, but if we had beaten Sheffield United we’d have had a quarter final game against Blackburn Rovers with only City and United being our main competition left in the cup, we’d never have had a better chance at winning the tournament.

I loathe Daniel Levy. I completely disagree with this line that Levy is not at fault for Sheffield. I don't think any loss this season can be more directly attributed to Levy than Sheffield Utd. We rested our two best players for a cup competition that had opened up very nicely for us to improve our chances of securing top 4 football. The brief from Levy has always been - lurch from one idea to the next in a bid to scrape top 4 because that is what makes us the most money. The brief is never - compete for silverware. The decision to rest those players was a reflection of the board's ambition. The Sheffield Utd game was actually the clearest projection of Daniel Levy's ambitions all season; a systemic indifference towards tangible silverware rotting from the top that creeps right down into the selfish and headless displays of the makeshift front three we saw that day.
