      When the prosecution is so arrogant it goes for Murder 1 and the parameters for the jury are so strict these things can and will happen. There should’ve been a second count of Murder 2 she may have beat M1 but would have been hammered by the judge when the jury found her guilty of M2

      After everything, the judge made a statement to say he should have instructed the jury that the manner in how she died didn't count. It was only if they believed she died at the hands of her mother. He said he believed the jury found her not guilty because the prosecution didn't fully explain how she died and he believed they thought they had to do that to find her guilty.
      I saw an interview with a member of the jury who said this was the case.
      I personally believe (not that my opinion counts for anything) that she overdosed her daughter on zanex, put her in the boot of the car and left her there to die, forgot she was there and when she remembered, decided to try to hide her remains.
      Whatever happened here, this so called mother should spend her life being punished.

      Casey Anthony was acquitted because the prosecution didn’t prove their case beyond a reasonable doubt. Don’t get me wrong, she’s guilty AF as far as I’m concerned, but they jumped the gun on prosecuting her. They should have waited until they had a much stronger case, then she would have been convicted.

      The case that always gets me is oj Simpson. This case I can sort of see why they found her not guilty (mostly bc they couldn't prove cause of death. That to me goes a long way to reasonable doubt) if you have a good lawyer, anyone can be found not guilty without a cause of death of murder. But the Simpson case is the case that always makes my blood boil. True that didn't involve a child, this one I absolutely believe she's guilty, but I hate to say I'm not convinced they actually proved it in court. She deserves to be in prison. This case a tragic. It really is. But I do think if they could have proven murder with an actual cause of death, she would have found guilty. I think most people also don't really understand what reasonable doubt is.

It ended up she was in her bedroom the whole time and had fallen asleep on her bedroom floor under a blanket and I never realized it at the time. That was the most horrible and gut wrenching feeling I experienced thinking my child had walked out of the house on her own. Looked around for hours in 800 square feet of space, thought she may have slipped out when I'd left that morning and now was scared, we looked around the alleyways near home. Already a couple of hours in I was grieving a potential loss, and at 1 am when we were both in tears mourning her loss, planning to search again, even my partner who "doesn't care about cats" was crying. She turned out to be sleeping in the bed drawer we closed that morning and only knew she had been there as she was trying to get out. This is a cat we were still getting to know yet the pain was nearly comparable to the day we had to let her go due to illness. I can't imagine, for a child you carried and nurtured and protected...I don't think my body could survive that kind of terror. The good thing is no one is forgetting this case or their opinion of her guilt. She says she’s sleeping fine and whatever but this has got to effect her at some point. It will follow her like a shadow to her grave.

    • @missfluffydiva2120
      @missfluffydiva2120 Před 2 lety +8

      She didn't. Her life since this hasn't been good. She can't get a job, every business she's tried to set up has failed, she can't profit from her infamy, though there are some sickos who would pay money to sleep with her or just be in her company.
      The greatest thing called karma has been biting her in the ass ever since the trial.
      She may be free but she really isn't. She still is the most hated person in the US for getting away with murdering her daughter. That is something she can never get away from. She has no moral compass and although she claims she's happy, she really isn't. Puts on a show for the public.
      She talks about wanting another child, they will never allow her to keep any child that she does have unless she leaves the US. Problem for her is that she's known worldwide as a child murderer. It is such a pity that the Prosecution didn't have enough to solidify a conviction and I bet the jury must have hated the fact that they couldn't find her guilty based on the evidence that was presented.
      She is a pariah, an evil heartless narcissist who still only cares about herself. I doubt very much that she's ever given a moments thought for the little girl whose life she took.

Who two grown arse ppl put on a facade and graduation party for their daughter who never graduated! 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 What kind of parents constantly lie and cover up their daughter's dirty deeds throughout her life?! They never taught their daughter that poor decisions have consequences and she only turned around and betrayed them by lying about her father molesting her, what kind of wife silently agrees for the sake of her daughter's defense….. beyond despicable set of blood related ppl. The father tried to commit suicide so lets accuse his fragile mind of child molestation and… well heck why not try to just push him over the edge by using his suicide attempt as an indication of guilt to accuse him of killing his granddaughter….the love among them just radiates 🙄

    This is exactly how the media influences the law , the prosecution thought they’d done enough.. it was a slam dunk case . Unfortunately.. they didn’t realize exactly how sick and twisted she was , her fathers face as she falsely accused him of sexually abusing her as a child is absolutely heartbreaking. Yes she may be free , but we have to take comfort in the fact that God will deal out her punishments daily .

      Our creator is not A punishing prep person . It couldn't possibly have those kind of attributes as humanly understood. We all choose roles to play in our lives. Good/bad/evil/angels. We come to experience it all. Without heartbreak and suffering we would not understand happiness and peace. We each have our own karmic scales. And only we can tip them.

      Both the prosecution and her parents knew before the trial started that Baez was going to accuse George of sexual abuse. Baez had to disclose that. However, he only mentioned it in his opening. He couldn't include it in the trial because he couldn't prove it. That's why the prosecution started with George and the first questions were, "Did you sexually abuse your daughter?" They wanted it out in the open from the start.

    Your take on this Emma was so informative! It’s such a tough case to hear/watch. Especially as it is pretty clear she was guilty but the jury were right with reasonable doubt. If only the police had found her earlier, maybe more DNA could of proven conclusively. That for me was a massive error! And one I hadn’t known about. The parents shock me too. Unconditional love, I get it, but justice for your granddaughter and finally teaching a clearly dangerous person consequence!! Should of been a higher priority….. in my opinion…..thanks as always !!!!!
