@@credentiacnaskills3577 I’m soooooo worried 😞 I feel I did everything great I got to my last skill donning 😳 easy peasy….boom I forgot to put on my gloves at the start of the skull 😓 I just feel like they will fail me because of this! I am patiently waiting for my result but I’m hurting and upset with myself

For measuring urinary output do we need to put ml or cc on the recording sheet for credentia I’m in Pennsylvania
Hello Phyllis, For Credentia you only need to put the number. Keep in mind the container will have ounces and ML/CC on it. The evaluator will know if you are measuring in MLs or CCs.
The ounces will be around 8-15. This is a failing measurement.
The MLs or CCs will normally be 350-650
It is up to you if you want to place the ML or CC.
Do you think all site where you take the skill exam will have ppe disposal bin?
Hello Credentia, Requires a separate bin for the PPE disposal. It CAN'T go into the trash.
I have a question I’m 5 foot what happens if the strings of the gown touch the floor. Because I had this happened in class. Help 😅
Hello, I would mention this to the evaluator if you have this skill.
Do you wash your hands before starting the skill?
Hello Phyllis, The very first skill is handwashing when testing. Therefore, you don't have to wash your hand before this skill. Handwashing is NOT a step for PPE until the very end.
Do we need to verbalize every steps we’re doing? And if we can’t find the designated trash bin can we just verbalize?
Hello, Credentia does NOT require the candidate to verbalize the skill steps.
You must find and USE the designated trash bin to put the gown and gloves into.
See the steps below: ( 9 and 13)
9 Disposes of gloves into designated waste container without contaminating self
10 After removing gloves, unfastens gown at waist and neck
11 After removing gloves, removes gown without touching outside of gown
12 While removing gown, holds gown away from body without touching the floor, turns gown inward and keeps it inside out
13 Disposes of gown in designated container without contaminating self
