    hello, DOCTOR LEE M.D. thank you your videos are very informative. ;Question, during the skills test am i required to verbalize each step out loud or should i only verbalize hand washing to be time conscience? thank you in advance for your response.

    • @credentiacnaskills3577
      @credentiacnaskills3577  Před 8 měsíci +3

      Hello, The student is not required to verbalize each step during the exam. Most students do verbalize the steps because the behavior helps them remember the skills.

    Hello, I have a question- when you put the shirt on, does it matter if they are in Fowler position or have them on their side to assist with the other arm? Or just do it how you did it by raising the patient up?

    • @credentiacnaskills3577
      @credentiacnaskills3577  Před 11 měsíci +1

      Hello, Credentia does not care what position the patient is in. You are graded on how the shirt is removed and put on.

    • @credentiacnaskills3577

    Can we leave the shirt on the right side . Do we have to button the shirt?

    • @credentiacnaskills3577
      @credentiacnaskills3577  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Hello, I am not sure I understand the question. For this skill, you will remove the gown from the left arm first. Then, place the shirt on the client, starting with the right arm. Yes, you will button the shirt completely.

    Hey we don't the pants and socks on clients? I've seen other instructors putting pants and socks on...

    • @credentiacnaskills3577
      @credentiacnaskills3577  Před rokem +1

      Credentia does not require pants and socks.
      There is another testing agency called Prometric that requires the student to put on a shirt, pants, and socks. Make sure you know which agency is testing in your state.

    Never say weak arm it’s affected or unaffected or stronger side

    • @credentiacnaskills3577
      @credentiacnaskills3577  Před rokem +12

      Hello Tarresha, The state has the skilled labeled as a weak arm. So, Why would I not use the words that the state use? It is perfectly acceptable to use the word weak when referring to a body part in healthcare.
      I am curious as to why you think this is unacceptable.

      Hi,I found your videos to be really instructed and specific. I was also instructed by my teacher to never use the word WEAK. Apparently is sound offensive. Am in Pennsylvania.
      Thanks you
